Let’s see if Paul Ryan will carry on the Romney tradition of HIDING from their hideous policies and EXTREME GOP PLATFORM. We’ve already seen him and Mitt Romney say and do whatever to win.
Ryan, like Romney isn’t going to be honest with the American people about their extreme policies, because he knows it will HURT him. Romney has changed his position on ABORTION 6 TIMES, and he has been fact-checked by his own campaign.
Romney said he will appoint judges who will OVERTURN ROE v WADE and De-fund PLANNED PARENTHOOD.
Romney mislead VOTERS about his healthcare plan. HIS PLAN OFFERS NO PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS.
So like Romney, let’s watch Paul Ryan attempts at hiding his positions and try to close the deal like a boardroom Executive.
Rep. Xavier Becerra knows Paul Ryan very well. He worked with Ryan in the house and with Simpson-Bowles. He says, the question is will Paul Ryan stand by his EXTREME positions or flat-out deny them?
Will Paul Ryan explain the $5 TRILLION tax cut and where the money is coming from to pay the top 1%? Is it coming from the MIDDLE CLASS? He previously told Fox’s Chris Wallace that it would “take too long,” and he “didn’t have time.” You’ll have 90 minutes during the debate, so have it, Lil Eddie.

We’ve already seen and heard how Ryan distorts and misleads Americans with his tale of President Obama being responsible for closing down a WI plant, when the GM plant closed down under George W. Bush.

I’ll keep it brief.
I’d call the first exchange on foreign policy basically a draw. Biden was on uncomfortable terrain on the Libya story. On each successive encounter, Biden was on the offensive and owned the conversation. I don’t think it was close. Ryan looked like a kid and certainly on foreign policy totally out of his depth. People forget that Biden’s lived foreign policy and national security for decades. He knows the stuff inside and out. The most difficult moment for Ryan was when Raddatz and Biden both pressed him for any specifics on how they can play for their tax plan. He simply refused. That’s all he could do because they have no way to pay for it. That’ll leave a bruise and cue up questions for next week.
After the debate ended, Republicans were calling it a draw and Democrats were calling it a strong win for Biden. That tells you all you need to know.
Yet I don’t think any of those things compare to this: Biden made the whole Democratic argument — on policy and values and he hit Romney really everywhere Democrats wanted him to. He left nothing unsaid. You can agree with those points or not. But this was exceedingly important for recovering the damage from last week’s debate when many Obama supporters simply felt that Obama wasn’t willing or able or something to make the case Democrats around the country are hyped up to make. Why didn’t you say this? Why’d you let him get away with that?
Biden said it all. And for Democrats around the country that was extremely important.
For reasons that are complicated and juvenile, during his vice presidency a caricature has emerged of Biden as some sort of Crazy Irish Uncle, gaffetastic and corny, a risible figure. That left people unprepared for what they saw tonight. Ryan was unprepared too. Biden’s actually one of sharpest guys in Washington and has been for decades.
I suspect Ryan’s equivocations and unwillingness to give details will be the day 2 and weekend stories. But the most critical point in terms of the trajectory of the debate was that Biden left it all on the field.

Vice President Joe Biden and Rep. Paul Ryan have arrived at Newlin Hall on the campus of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, for tonight’s 2012 vice presidential debate.
Biden and Ryan will take part in a 90-minute debate focused on domestic issues, national security and foreign policy. Martha Raddatz of ABC News will be the moderator.
Raddatz will open the debate at 9:01 p.m. ET with the first question for Biden. Each candidate will have two minutes to respond and then additional time for back-and-forth discussion. There will be nine segments of 10 minutes each. At the end of the debate, candidates will have 90 seconds for closing remarks, with Biden going first.
