Even though 3Chics Politico is written and curated by three women: Ametia, Rikyrah, and SouthernGirl2, I must nominate this as one of the most engaging blogs I've found. Devoted to politics and culture, these three shine a light on contemporary life with humor and spirit.

I told you that all that cheating the Republicans did would backfire and President Obama would be re-elected. Hallelujah!
BTW, keep my baby daughter (and youngest out my children) in your prayers. She has a blockage in her head and a vein busted and is leaking in her spinal cord.
Granny, my prayers are with your daughter. May the healing power of God embrace her with his tender mercies. We’re calling on Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our Healer!

Thank you, Mr. President, for all you are doing to serve ALL AMERICANS.
Obama tears up during final rally
http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/11/06/usa-campaign-obama-idUSL1E8M60C120121106
DES MOINES, Iowa, Nov 5 (Reuters) – An emotional President Barack Obama ended his final campaign on Monday in Iowa, the place that launched his first White House bid and that could hold the key to his political future.
After two days of nearly round-the-clock travel to the battleground states of Ohio, Florida, Colorado, New Hampshire and Wisconsin, Obama ended his tour in Des Moines with a speech that harkened back to his 2008 campaign.
“I’ve come back to Iowa one more time to ask for your vote. I came back to ask you to help us finish what we’ve started, because this is where our movement for change began,” he told a crowd of some 20,000 people.
Obama’s voice broke and he wiped away tears from his eyes as he reflected on those who had helped his campaign.
Keep on Pushing
Keep on pushing
I’ve got to keep on pushing
I can’t stop now
Move up a little higher
Some way, somehow
‘Cause I’ve got my strength
And it don’t make sense
Not to keep on pushin’
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Keep on pushin’
I don’t think I’ll ever see another President like President Obama in my lifetime. I am grateful to live in this time. My sweet little parents took the brunt of Jim Crow but kept pushing forward and longed for this day but didn’t get to see it. ***tears***What an amazing man! America is so blessed to have him. I will love him as long as I live! God bless him!
