US-VOTE-2012-REPUBLICAN CONVENTION

“66 days and counting…Shame on YOU; SHAME ON CONGRESS!”

Full conference here on C-Span

Govrnor Christie said he called Speaker Boehner 4 times, and he never returned his calls, nor did he give an explanation as to why the measure was PULLED.

It’s about “INTERNAL POLITICS.”

Governor Christie: “Only one group is to blame for the continuing suffering: the House majority and their Speaker John Boehner (R-OH),” Christie declared. Historically, “disaster relief was something that you didn’t play games with, but now in this current atmosphere everything is a subject of one-upmanship,” he continued. “It is why the American people hate Congress.”

Christie: “They’re so intrigued by the fake fiscal cliff. They forget we sent them there to work for us, not sitting around playing with each other. Governors don’t have that luxury.”

Interesting the Jackals kept asking Christie about the TEA PARTY.” But this is YOUR Party, Governor Christie. ALL OF THEM. Good looking out for the citizens of New Jersey, though. This is where the rubber truly meets the road. So, call your party out, call them out hard on their OBSTRUCTION and DISDAIN for President Obama, because you know that’s exactly what this is all about.

CAUTION SPEAKER BOEHNER

Rep. Issa defends Speaker Boehner for halting Sandy relief vote
By Geneva Sands – 01/02/13 01:29 PM ET

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) defended Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) decision to table the Hurricane Sandy relief vote Tuesday night.

“The fact is the Speaker had no choice. Had we brought up a vote, marked it down to 20 or so, 27 billion, where it should be to provide the actual relief, the Senate wasn’t there to take it, so effectively it wouldn’t have become law and the Speaker knew it,” said Issa on “Fox and Friends” Wednesday morning. http://thehill.com/video/house/275235-rep-issa-defends-speaker-boehner-for-halting-sandy-relief-vote-
