(CNN) — In a hearing Tuesday outside of the jury’s presence, attorneys in the George Zimmerman trial argued about whether jurors should see the defense’s 3D re-creation of the altercation between the neighborhood watch captain and Trayvon Martin.
The defense also wants jurors to hear about Martin’s text messages, which reportedly show he had been in fights and was trying to purchase a gun.
The judge recessed court right before 10 p.m. ET, saying she would wait until Wednesday morning to make decisions on both of these issues. Defense attorney Don West vented his frustration as the judge left the bench, saying he was having trouble keeping up with the long hours and fast-paced schedule of the trial.
“I’m not physically able to keep up this pace much longer,” West said. “It’s 10 o’clock at night. We started this morning. We’ve had full days every day, weekends, depositions at night.”

I was thinking about Sybrina right after I woke up this morning. I do not believe that I could endure what she is going through. But murderers leave the mothers and families of the victim no choice, this is the one and only thing they can do for the person they love, to bring their killer to justice and stop him from killing again.
But this trial has become about a tipping point and a reversal in a system of justice that has favored whites over blacks. This is the most important murder trial so far this century, and Sybrina Fulton knows that. She has talked about God “using her.” I think that is the source of her strength.
Don West & Mark O’Mara have disrespected Judge Nelson since day 1. They’re doing it for no other reason than she’s a woman. After the Judge recessed for the night, Don West continued to scream at her. I hope she smacks them down at 8:00am.

Don Wet’s a total DISGRACE to the justice system. The only thing missing from these citizens of law enforcement is the white hoods & robes.
Let’s see if I understand this. I could walk home from the store with my purchases. Unknown to me, someone is stalking me. This person then confronts me, starts a fight, and shoots me through my heart. Yet, when my killer is brought to trial, the pictures and messages in my cellphone are “exculpatory and probative” evidence that the defendant was justified in doing what he did.
