    Official: President Obama to deliver eulogy at Pinckney’s funeral Friday

    President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will attend the funeral services for the Rev. Clementa Pinckney, according to a White House official.

    Obama will deliver the eulogy, the official confirmed to The Post and Courier.

    Pinckney’s funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at TD Arena at the College of Charleston. Interment will follow at St. James AME Church of Marion.

    Preacher today: “God will find us a way out of nowhere!”

    I really feel so much right now about what path is needed to navigate through and END the trappings, systemic racism, and evil acts of White Supremacy and its various hate groups in our country.

    Now the “overground railroad” needs to be boarded and all good people need to push back against the organized racist evil….jumping into action to wade in the water of the “overground railroad”!

    The call is now.

      Excerpts from sermon:

      For those of us who are here this morning…I want you to know, because the doors of Mother Emmanuel are open on THIS Sunday, it sends a message to every demon and hellion on Earth that NO weapon formed against us shall prosper.

      When times of trouble comes to us in our times, how do we respond? Do we respond by being afraid and resort to fear or do we respond in faith?

      It is by faith that we are standing and sitting here this morning.

      The only way that evil can triumph is for good folk to sit down and do nothing.
