Really folks, Newt has absolutely nothing to lose, and everything to gain $$$ carrying the mantle of aggression,  and resentment for some of the most rabid, hateful, fearful white folks who are writhing in complete agony, because that black man Barack Obama took what they felt is whitefully theirs… That Black leather chair in the Oval Office of the White House.

You can yell and scream, and kick all you like Newty Newt, but we will EXPOSE you for the low down, GRIFTING, loud-mouth,  philandering, fake intellectual bully that you are.

  1. Newt Gingrich’s campaign admits he lied during debate about ABC News interview with his ex-wife

    http://tiny.cc/zu0eg

During the CNN debate last week, Newt Gingrich delivered one of his now-commonplace media scoldings. You know the ones: The media is evil, I am great, and how dare you in the media be so evil as to not recognize that I am great. And so on.

This particular Newtburst was directed towards CNN’s John King, who had the audacity to bring up ABC News’ interview with Gingrich ex-wife number two, Marianne Gingrich, which aired the same night. (Imagine that, a debate moderator asking about breaking news relating to one of the candidates. What a monster.)

One of Newt’s claims at the time was that he had offered ABC News “character witnesses” in the form of “personal friend[s] I have who knew us in that period” to rebut his ex-wife’s claims, but ABC News was just too darn evil to take him up on it. Turns out, not so much:

John King: Tonight, after persistent questioning by our staff, the Gingrich campaign concedes now Speaker Gingrich was wrong both in his debate answer and in our interview yesterday. Gingrich spokesman R.C. Hammond says the only people the campaign offered to ABC were his two daughters from his first marriage.
What’s this? Newt Gingrich was lying about having witnesses that would defend him (other than his daughters, who I pray to God were not at the time in a position to know about Newt’s sexual trysts and their parent’s conversations about them)? He was completely making stuff up, during a nationally televised debate, in an attempt to attack ABC and CNN as the villains of the story?

Wow. I’m beginning to think this Newt Gingrich guy has some serious ethical issues. I hope a moderator asks him about this during the next debate.

  2. Newt undressed…….what an UGLY sight.

  3. Nancy Pelosi Says Newt Gingrich Will Never Be President: ‘There’s Something I Know’

    http://www.mediaite.com/tv/nancy-pelosi-says-newt-gingrich-will-never-be-president-theres-something-i-know/

Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sat down with CNN’s John King, to whom she hinted about knowing “something” about former House Speaker Newt Gingrich that makes her certain he’ll never be president.

King brought up how Gingrich has described the ethics committee investigation against him as a “partisan vendetta led by Democrats,” to which Pelosi responded that it was a “sad time” during a Republican-controlled Congress. Where the investigation against him is concerned, she added, the “public record speaks for itself.”

She also tackled what King described as a “revisionist” version of how he left the Speakership. “I wasn’t going to hang around,” Gingrich recently said, “like Nancy did.” Pelosi responded with laughter. “Putting it on somebody else. It’s vintage projection, projection, projection,” she said. “He would loved to have stayed, he just didn’t have the support in the caucus to do so.”

King then asked what goes through Pelosi’s mind when she thinks of the possibility that Gingrich could become president. Her response was exceptionally frank:

Let me just say this: that will never happen. He’s not going to be president of the United States. This is… That’s not going to happen. Let me just make my prediction instead by… it isn’t going to happen. There’s something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him, that’s their prerogative.

Newt Gingrich’s Meanness Is The Secret Of His 2012 Success
    By Rmuse-January 23, 2012

    snip

It is now in the permanent record that Gingrich regards African Americans as lazy people who rob white Americans of their wealth and enjoy living in opulence subsisting on food stamps. Gingrich further displayed meanness evangelicals revere when he proposed forcing poor children to work cleaning toilets of affluent children in schools, and he upped the ante by demeaning school janitors, cafeteria workers, and office help as a waste of taxpayer dollars. But it was Gingrich’s attitude toward women that evangelicals, especially male evangelicals, may have appreciated the most.

  5. In Newt Gingrich’s World Rules Do not Apply to Him, Ex-Wife’s Lawyer Says

    http://tiny.cc/tu767

The ex-speaker asked his former wife to accept an open marriage while preaching family values to everyone else—typical of a man who believes rules are only to be followed by the rest of us, says Marianne Gingrich’s lawyer, Victoria Toensing.

It’s not about the sex. Marianne Gingrich’s interview with ABC revealing former husband and presidential candidate Newt Gingrich’s request for an open marriage was not about a wife rejected. Rather, it was an insight into the persona of Newt: When he gets power he believes the rules do not apply to him.

  6. Gingrich Celebrates The 15 Year Anniversary Of His Ethics Violations, By Winning South Carolina Primary

    http://ezkool.com/2012/01/gingrich-celebrates-the-15-year-anniversary-of-his-ethics-violations-by-winning-south-carolina-primary/

Tonight, as the polls closed in South Carolina, Rachel Maddow announced that NBC was projecting a win for Newt Gingrich. It is a historic achievement for the former Republican House Speaker, and Newt and his supporters can only hope that this momentum carries on to Florida.

Here are couple of interesting historical facts – Today is the anniversary of the Citizens United case, where the Supreme Court got rid of all the common sense rules on campaign donations allowing Corporations to donate an unlimited amount of funds to campaigns under the guise of “corporations are people.”

And this other piece of history – On this day some fifteen years ago, Newt Gingrich received some embarrassing news while he was the Speaker of the house.

On Jan. 21, 1997, one of the most memorable days in congressional history, Newt Gingrich became the first House speaker to be reprimanded by his colleagues for ethical misconduct. The 395-28 vote, to reprimand him for bringing discredit on the House for failing to ensure his use of tax-exempt groups was legal, was historic by itself. But Gingrich’s peers didn’t stop there. They fined him $300,000 for misleading the House ethics committee and causing it to extend a costly investigation.

  7. Newt Gingrich the Republicans and the Loony Religious Fringe

    http://frank-schaeffer.blogspot.com/2011/12/newt-gingrich-republicans-and-loony.html?tw_p=twt

Every single one of the sops Newt Gingrich and the other Republican candidates are throwing the far right have been scripted for them by generations of so-called Reconstructionist “thinkers”, Roman Catholic ideologues and Christian Zionists that have been pushing the religious community — and America — steadily in the direction of overthrowing democracy and replacing it with some version of an Americanized theocracy.

I’ll look at Gingrich here but what I say below could be said of every Republican candidate this year.

    Newt

Newt Gingrich has been making a series of outrageous statements in ascending rhetorical volume as a means to throw the religious right scraps of validation that he is “one of us.” What Gingrich has done is to sign on to the extremist Dominionist/Roman Catholic agenda. Since I used to be a leader and the son of a leader on the Religious Right (in the 1970s and 80s) what Gingrich is saying invokes a bad case of déjà vu for me

What he’s really doing is sending signals to 3 overlapping constituencies that now control the Republican Party: The “Pro-Israel” Lobby; The Reconstructionist/Dominionist Lobby and The Conservative Roman Catholic Lobby. We’ll look at these groups’ and their influence one at a time.

    The Gingrich Context

Wanting to outdo the rest of the Republican field on support for the hardliners in the State of Israel Gingrich told America that the Palestinian people are really a fiction an “invented people”,, illegitimate and don’t actually exist.

Not wanting to let the far right down on his purity when it comes to abortion politics Gingrich corrected himself on when “life begins” and got his “position” in line with the American Roman Catholic bishops and declared that when he said it “begins” with the implantation of the fertilized egg in the uterine wall what he really meant was that it begins with fertilization, thus putting himself squarely in the corner with the extremist bishops who would like to lump the pill in with abortion as a means that ” destroys a life.”

And when it comes to the rule of law Gingrich Gingrich advocates the arrest of judges that rule against “Christian values.”

  8. Who is Saul Alinsky? A Gingrich line explained

    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/22/who-is-saul-alinsky-a-gingrich-line-explained/

(CNN) – In framing his attacks on President Barack Obama for a possible November showdown, Newt Gingrich repeatedly brings up the name of an influential radical organizer from the first half of the 20th century.

“Saul Alinsky radicalism is at the heart of Obama,” Gingrich said Sunday in an interview with CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley.

The night before, the former House Speaker invoked the name in his victory speech after the South Carolina primary, saying: “The centerpiece of this campaign, I believe, is American exceptionalism versus the radicalism of Saul Alinsky.”

And earlier, at a New Year’s Eve campaign event in Iowa, Gingrich declared that Obama “really is sort of a classic Saul Alinsky radical whose basic ideas are the opposite of what we need to create jobs.”

So who is Saul Alinsky, and why is Gingrich so insistent on linking that name to Obama?

Born in Chicago in 1909, Alinsky organized communities in his birth city and California, helping minorities in poor neighborhoods exert political force by collectively demanding better working conditions and getting them to polling stations.

  9. Gingrich: “It’s not that I’m a good debater. It’s just that I articulate the deepest values of the American people.”

Translation:“It’s not that I’m a good debater, It’s that I articulate the deepest feelings of the American people who are blinded by racism.

    • Clyburn Says Newt Gingrich Is Using Coded Racial Language

      http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2012/01/22/408754/clyburn-gingrich-race/

On the campaign trail, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has repeatedly referred to President Obama as a food stamps president. Many have claimed the comment, and others, are dog whistles for “ugly racial stereotypes” and are insulting to African Americans.

This morning, Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC), the highest-ranking African American in the House, told CNN’s Candy Crowley this morning that he would not call Newt Gingrich a racist, but said the presidential candidate has been using language that appeals to those in the GOP who “will see President Obama as different from all other presidents that we’ve had.” Crowley asked if the term “food stamps president” was a racial comment. Clyburn replied that it’s similar to other racially-coded comments that are not explicitly racist:

CROWLEY: Is that necessarily a racist comment?

CLYBURN: It’s not necessarily so, but a welfare queen being uttered by Ronald Reagan is not necessarily a comment…but people know what that means. [...] All of this carries certain connotations that people know very, very well, and I think [Gingrich] practiced that perfectly.

      • Candy Crowley

You know very well the term “food stamps president” = Nigger! Don’t act like it’s brand new & you don’t know!

      • Gingrich: I will tell NAACP to demand paychecks instead of food stamps

        http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/01/05/gingrich-i-will-tell-naacp-to-demand-paychecks-instead-of-food-stamps/

Speaking to a crowd at New Hampshire on Thursday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich suggested that African Americans would rather collect food stamps than find employment.

“I will go to the NAACP convention, and tell the African-American community why they should demand paychecks instead of food stamps,” he said, according to Slate journalist Dave Weigel.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is the oldest and largest civil rights organization in the United States. Gingrich has previously said he would address the organization if they invited him.

The statement comes after another Republican presidential candidate has faced scrutiny for his comments linking African Americans to welfare.

  10. Jackie Battley, Jan. 3, 1985: He walked out in the spring of 1980 and I returned to Georgia. By September, I went into the hospital for my third surgery. The two girls came to see me, and said Daddy is downstairs and could he come up? When he got there, he wanted to discuss the terms of the divorce while I was recovering from the surgery.
