Mitt Romney Throws Shade On Blacks After Addressing NAACP : IF “THEY” (THE BLACKS) Want More Free Stuff; Vote For The Other Guy”

Not gonna work, Mitt Romney.  A multitude of Black folks got your number.  Your Mormonism is showing.  You know how those “evil” blacks are, don’t you?

ROMNEY ADVISES NAACP TOO VOTE OBAMA IF THEY WANT MORE STUFF THE GOVERNMENT

TRMS: Romney Responds To The Booing He Received At NAACP Meeting:

According to The Rachel Maddow Show, Mitt Romney (at a fundraiser tonight) responded to the booing he received earlier today when speaking at the NAACP.

Here’s the transcript from TRMS:

Rachel Maddow:

Just a short time ago at a fundraiser in Hamilton, Montana, we just got word that Mr. Romney has now responded to that booing, that reception that he got at the NAACP convention. According to the pool report from this event in Montana, Mr. Romney said this about the reception at the NAACP today.

He said, “Remind them of this, if they want more stuff from the government tell them to go vote for the other guy…more free stuff. But don’t forget nothing is free.”

You ought to know about free, Mitt Romney. You made your millions by buying into companies and bankrupting them, putting Americans out of work, and then stashing your cash in Swiss Bank accounts, paying the bare minimum in taxes, and refusing to release your TAX RETURNS.

See you and your campagin staff wants to distract us from your business dealing by rolling up in a black joint to tell black folks they are helpless, lazy, seeking welfare, wanna take the white folks hard-earned money, freeloaders. RELEASE YOUR TAX RETURNS, so Americans can see what you’ve been hiding!

  1. Shame, shame, shame on you Mitt Romney, for that hateful and racist comment on “free stuff”

    Dear Romney: I’m Black—Hire Me!
by Mansfield Frazier Jul 12, 2012 4:45 AM EDT

Mitt Romney took his licks during a speech to the NAACP’s national convention Wednesday.
Mansfield Frazier has some suggestions for how the likely Republican nominee can get some color in his campaign.

    Dear Gov. Romney:

I heard you say this morning—at the NAACP’s national convention, no less—that you wanted to create jobs for Americans. That sounds great; why not start with me? I can help you increase your employment numbers and also fix a nagging problem your party seems to have appealing to people of color: specifically, you don’t.

A little background on myself: Back in 1996, when I was fresh out of prison and looking for an honest job, I offered my services to Bob Dole. I said I would add some much-needed background color to his presidential campaign. (He didn’t hire me, and he lost the election, but I’m sure the two are unrelated.)

Anyway, today I stand just as ready to help you kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. Also, I clean up real well.

I really think this could work. Your speech to the NAACP in Houston was definitely courageous. Maybe not Daniel in the lion’s den courageous, but you should still milk it for all it’s worth. For example, during the upcoming debates, you can always gloat that you paid homage to that venerable organization in person, while President Obama merely sent Joe Biden (remember him? The guy who said during the 2008 primaries that our future first black president was “articulate and bright and clean”?). If I were you I wouldn’t let anyone forget that.

Your stature even increased a bit with every round of applause that punctuated your speech (I lost count at a dozen)—and while it certainly couldn’t be characterized as “thunderous,” it’s safe to call it “polite.”

Of course there was that bit where you promised to repeal Obamacare; the boos and hisses were pretty loud, but I’m sure your Secret Service contingent made sure the chairs were bolted to the floor.

Mitt Romney stayed at Bain 3 years longer than he stated
Firm’s 2002 filings identify him as CEO, though he said he left in 1999

By Callum Borchers and Christopher Rowland-July 12, 2012

Nine SEC filings submitted by four different business entities after February 1999 describe Romney as Bain boss.

Government documents filed by Mitt Romney and Bain Capital say Romney remained chief executive and chairman of the firm three years beyond the date he said he ceded control, even creating five new investment partnerships during that time.

Romney has said he left Bain in 1999 to lead the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, ending his role in the company. But public Securities and Exchange Commission documents filed later by Bain Capital state he remained the firm’s “sole stockholder, chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president.”

    READ ON:

    Stephanie Cutter

When Mitt Romney ran for governor and now as he’s running for president, he consistently claimed he could not be blamed for bankruptcies and layoffs from Bain investments after February 1999 because he departed for the Olympics. Now, we know that he wasn’t telling the truth. According to the Boston Globe, and official Bain filings to the SEC, Mitt Romney didn’t leave Bain until 2001. He continued as the firm’s president and CEO, remained on the payroll, and continuously signed government documents representing himself as the head of that firm.

This puts him at the center of responsibility for troubling investments involving outsourcing and bankruptcies. It also raises serious questions about why he misrepresented the date of his ‘departure,’ and whether he is concealing his tax returns because there is still more about this period and beyond that he doesn’t want people to know. It’s time for Mitt Romney to come clean so that the American people can make their own judgments about his record and his motivations.”

  6. majiir says:

Romney’s appearance at the NAACP Convention and the remarks he made in Montana later today should be celebrated because it is these types of things that get Black Americans more determined than every to vote in November. There’s nothing that we dislike more than a condescending, secretive, Obama bashing, lying, hypocritical, sh*t eating grinning politician like Romney.

  7. dgillem says:

I hate to say this,l really didn’t think he had the stones,to look the naacp in the face and, make diragatory remarks. As usual he didn’t disapointment,he loaded the audiance with 20 or so rep party friends,so he would get a few applause,he used key inflameitory remarks knowing full well, that he would be booed now he can play the tapes,to show his rich and the very stupid

    • dgillem says:

Well he achived what he wanted,je stacked the audiance with 20 or so rep friends,to applaud at thre right time, disrespected our president with, lies, told the prespective voters,he would be a better prez,to help african americans, knowing full well that he would be booed, and replay the sound byte, just to make the blacks look prejudice, not him.He left asap, didn’t shake hands,or answer not even one question, then runs to fox,and says if the blacks want all the free programs and higher taxes, vote for the other guy.He can’t go a day without slaming prez Obama. If you listen carefully,he never tells us what his policy will be,only how bad the potus is.I feel if he (Romney) gets in the W.H. the U.S. is overwith, for people of color,no more middle class, deregulate the banks, and all the money he has been getting from the welthy, they will have bought the45th prez, and will

  8. coach4divas says:

Well, he did say, he wanted us to see what was in his heart, didn’t he? If there was any doubt, he cleared it up as far as black people are concerned.

I just want to know how this man can “choose” not to disclose his tax returns or anything else substantive but women can’t be trusted with their own healthcare? Seriously, Papa Mitt, you do NOT know what’s best for me or anyone else in the 99%. #gohomeandshutthef**kup

    • Ametia says:

LOL @ Papa Mitt. That’s exactly who this fool tried to portray himself as. A paternal mockery of teh old slave masters. Yes; we know Mitt’s got all the answers to what ails black Americans. /snark
