Throughout the week, local officials, small business owners and workers will host events in key battleground states to highlight the President’s plan to restore economic security for hardworking middle-class families and small businesses, and contrast his plan with Mitt Romney’s plan to raise taxes on millions of middle-class families and small businesses in order to pay for tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires.
For example, some of the events that will be taking place today include:
New Hampshire:
· Governor Strickland, as part of the Obama Campaign’s New Hampshire Made in America tour, will visit Whitney Brothers in Keene and Lambert Auto Sales in Claremont and discuss with New Hampshire business owners the President’s plan to bring jobs back to America and strengthen the middle class.
Ohio:
· California Attorney General Kamala Harris will discuss with local members of the media how President Obama is “Fighting for the Middle Class.”
Florida:
· Rollout of Hispanic Small Business Owners for Obama with Latino business owners across the state.
Iowa:
· Senator Harkin will host a press conference call to discuss the devastating effects the Romney Tax Hike would have on Iowans.
Colorado:
Small business owners will hold press conferences on the Romney Tax Hike in advance of President Obama’s visit to Colorado on Wednesday and Thursday.
