Video | Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson: “My Party Is Full Of Racist”

Here’s what RACIST & MITT ROMNEY SURROGATE JOHN SUNUNU SAID:

*UPDATED*

TRANSCRIPT

COLONEL LAWRENCE WILKERSON told Ed Schultz & Audience this:

My party, unfortunately, is the bastion of those people, not all of them but most of them, who are still basing their decisions on race. Let me just be candid: My party is full of racists. And the real reason a considerable portion of my party wants president Obama out of the White House has nothing to do with the content of his character, nothing to do with his competence as Commander-in-Chief, as President, and everything to do with the color of his skin. And that’s despicable.

  2. Treating Colin Powell as ‘the black guy’ won’t help the GOP

    http://wapo.st/Skdiou

The reaction was sad – and sadly predictable.

Colin Powell, retired general and veteran of combat and Republican administrations, endorses President Obama and not his party’s candidate Mitt Romney. As he did in 2008, when he crossed party lines to favor Obama over John McCain, Powell runs down a long list of reasons why — from Romney’s “very, very strong neo-conservative views” to doubts about the candidate’s economic plans.

Instead of taking him at his word or believing the sincerity of the same criticisms others have made, a fellow Republican presumes to know the real reason. Romney adviser and former New Hampshire governor John Sununu – last heard questioning the American-ness of the president of the United States – attempted to explain the Powell endorsement on CNN. “When you take a look at Colin Powell, you have to wonder whether that’s an endorsement based on issues or whether he’s got a slightly different reason for preferring President Obama,” he said. When asked to explain, he went on, “Well, I think when you have somebody of your own race that you’re proud of being president of the United States, I applaud Colin for standing with him.” Talk about a back-handed compliment.

  4. just WOW: A Campaign foretold in an 150 year-old cartoon…

    This cartoon is from 1862.

It effectively distills the relationship between the modern conservative movement and President Obama. It also explains the Romney campaign strategy that white folks should reject everything that President Obama has done to help them—to save our Nation from ruin—over the last four years because he is a Ni-CLANG and that they should vote for Mitt because he is white.

In fact, the entire Romney campaign can be boiled down to just a few words: “Vote for Mitt, he’s white”. There are no policies or specifics, just code-talking and word salads from Mitt and his surrogates. Take away the appeals to white power and Mitt holds an empty hand. They can try and hide it, or whitewash it with weasel words and bullshit, but the Negrophope Strategy is the foundation of their campaign.

  6. The Company Romney Keeps

    http://nyti.ms/Rl876I

The saying goes: A man is known by the company he keeps.

If that is true, what does the company Mitt Romney keeps say about him?

This week Colin Powell endorsed Barack Obama again, as he did in 2008. That apparently set John Sununu, a co-chairman of the Romney campaign, on edge. Powell’s endorsement couldn’t possibly be the product of purposeful deliberation over the candidates’ policies. In Sununu’s world of racial reductionism, Powell’s endorsement had a more base explanation: it was a black thing.

On Thursday, Sununu said on CNN:“When you take a look at Colin Powell, you have to wonder whether that’s an endorsement based on issues or whether he’s got a slightly different reason for preferring President Obama.” He continued: “I think when you have somebody of your own race that you’re proud of being president of the United States, I applaud Colin for standing with him.”

Talk about damning with faint praise. In other words, Sununu was basically saying that he was applauding Powell’s inability to see past the color of his own eyelids.

Sununu is the same man who said that the president performed poorly in the first debate because “he’s lazy and disengaged.” He is also the same man who said of the president in July, “I wish this president would learn how to be an American.”

    • Sununu is a racist klan mofo! Shiftless, lazy, unAmerican, and disengaged is straight out of the klan playbook. How dare you, mofo! And the silence is deafening from Mitt Romney because this is what he wanted Sununu to say. Mitt condones it! They’re one & the same. Racist pricks!

Go straight to hell Mitt Romney and take Sununu and the republican party with you!

      • This jackass should row his ass back to havana, cuba where he came from,he’s just lucky president Obama passed the dream act so he can stay for two more years, but l really don’t think he should be telling our american born president he needs to learn how to be an american, because who ever tought you ffff up. Great SG2,Vote OBAMA

  7. ROLAND S. MARTIN: It’s A Black Thing, Right John Sununu?

    http://rolandmartinreports.com/blog/2012/10/roland-s-martin-its-a-black-thing-right-john-sununu/

When was the last time you heard some say that it is important to hire a qualified white person for a job? No, seriously, I really want you to think about the question.

Whenever there is a discussion about diversity, inclusion or affirmative action, we always hear folks say, “We do a great job of trying to find qualified minorities.”

That always tickles me because when it comes to hiring whites, the assumption is that all are qualified, so no need for the qualifier “qualified.”

That was the first thing that came to mind when former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu gave his opinion on Piers Morgan Tonight regarding Gen. Colin Powell’s endorsement of President Barack Obama.

“Frankly, when you take a look at Colin Powell, you have to wonder whether that’s an endorsement based on issues or whether he’s got a slightly different reason for preferring President Obama,” Sununu said.

When Morgan asked him what that reason is, Sununu said: “Well, I think when you have somebody of your own race that you’re proud of being president of the United States, I applaud Colin for standing with him.”

Oh, John, you’re such a charmer to say you applaud Colin Powell for being a righteous brother and supporting his brother from another mother.

All I could do was laugh at how incredibly asinine Sununu is.

But Sununu isn’t alone. He’s like the many idiots who have emailed and tweeted me over the years, suggesting that comments perceived as favorable to President Obama boils down to skin color. Accomplishments? Oh no. Intellect? Forget about it. It’s always a black thing.

I urge those who plan to vote for Romney/Ryan…..be very careful. You have been given absolutely no reason to believe anything these two bit shysters have offered. They are incapable of being honest. Remember the Bush years? This would be more of the same lying crap!
Obama has done a great job thus far. He deserves a second term!
