The ReThug Civil War

The ReThug’s got a Civil War goin’ on. – You can’t make this ISH up, I swear, you can’t.

But watching KKKarl Rove try to destroy the monster he and the Koch Brothers created, well, all I can say is get out your bucket of popcorn.  From Crooks and Liars:

Karl Rove was instrumental in creating this monster. Now it’s got a mind of its own.

It’s hard to know how this will play out. The Tea Party is really just the re-branding of the far right of the Republican Party. But it may just be that the establishment made a mistake in doing that. They don’t see themselves as Republicans anymore. They see themselves as a distinct movement that wants to explicitly run the Republican Party.

The wingnuts have always had real power within their Party but they didn’t know it. Now they do. And they have spent the last 30 years having people like Karl Rove rev them up and expand their egos into believing they represent a majority of Americans and have a responsibility to hew to their principles no matter what. It was a good way to market conservatism. But it was never true.

Yep, and like my friend the Field Negro says, they’re sho’ giving us a lot of race-chasing to do, but now the rest of America caught on, and don’t like what they were seeing.

So, now they’re trying to repackage their bullshyt by calling it a new name. It’s a plan to take over the Senate in 2014, and lawdy, Hang-Lip Harry Reid already laid that footwork.  However, we have our bullshyt detectors on, and no matter how it’s packaged, or what you want to call it, it’s still BULLSHYT.  As my colleague, Rikyrah would do is BWHAHAHAHA….

As they try to pick up the pieces from last fall’s defeat, the establishment and Tea Party wings of the GOP are at each other’s throats.

Karl Rove, fresh off the multi-million dollar disaster that was 2012, has launched a new initiative, The New York Timesreported Saturday. Known as the Conservative Victory Project, the group, a spin-off of Rove’s American Crossroads, will help recruit establishment Republicans, as well as defend Senate incumbents against challenges from more conservative candidates.

The aim, in a nutshell, is to push back against the Tea Party and bring the GOP’s nominating process back under the control of the party’s Washington power-brokers. In recent cycles, Tea Party-backed Senate candidates have won the Republican nomination over more moderate GOPers, only to be defeated in the general election. In several cases—think of Todd Akin’s “legitimate rape” remarks—they’ve been done in thanks in part to campaign trail slip-ups that more seasoned candidates might have avoided.

But the news has triggered a full-blown revolt among conservative activists, both inside and outside Washington.

KKKarl Rove has to be the luckiest bastard alive.  Anyone who can piss away millions of dollars to overthrow that Socialist, Kenyan Muslim (/snark) now occupying the White House without having to give an account of what was done with that kind of cheddar, and didn’t catch a case, a bullet, or wind up at the bottom of the Potomac, is one lucky SOB.  Not to mention he’s getting others to pony up more cash for him to piss away in trying to corral that monster he created, better known as the Tea Bag Gang, or Teahadists, as I like to call them, by creating, well, probably a new Monster.

Hopefully, the ReThugs and the Tea Bag Gang wind up like this:

Photo: A python with an alligator protruding from its midsectionThis is probably going to sound like one of those “two guys walk into a bar jokes but here goes:  A gator and a burmese python got into a fight.  The python swallowed the gator, but then exploded, killing both of them.

Moral of that story for the ReThugs – eating your own may very well kill YOU.

Great, let the repugnantcan party kill itself!

  2. Karl Rove is back as GOP party boss, but this time it’s clear that even the best-laid plans of the savviest political strategists often go awry.

  3. Hilarious analogy of the python/gator to the rethugs. Yes, the GOP funders will throw more money at Rove. They have an endless supply and don’t know any other way to be except corrupt. He’s their man and they’re sticking with him. I think it’s over for the GOP. Divine intervention at work.

The most amazing thing about all of this is that Rove got 300 million and did SHYT

What cracks me up is that he’s not even bothering to hide the fact he’s straight up grifting. Like I said, luckiest bastard on the planet.
