The Budget Control Act of 2011 (Pub.L. 112–25, S. 365, 125 Stat. 240, enacted August 2, 2011) is a federal statute in the United States that was signed into law by President Barack Obama on August 2, 2011. The Act brought conclusion to the 2011 United States debt-ceiling crisis, which had threatened to lead the United States into sovereign default on or about August 3, 2011.
The law involves the introduction of several complex mechanisms, such as creation of the Congressional Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction (sometimes called the “super committee”),[1] options for a balanced budget amendment and automatic budget sequestration.
So you see, CONGRESS voted on the SEQUESTRATION, and President Obama signed the bill into law.

The problem is that while he will choke, the rest of us will truly suffer. More job cuts from the public sector as well as from businesses that contract with federal and state governments. Which in turn leads to more corruption as companies who contract scramble to stay afloat.
When will people look past their anger and bigotry and realize that they are not helping their own plight by siding with Republicans. All they are doing is allowing a bunch of rich people do dupe them. Not unlike what happened in the early 1900s.

So true rumpydog. The GOP House voted on the sequester in the majority, that should tell folks what they were up to from jump. They’re playing games and hope that the POTUS and Dems will back out and give in, because they don’t give a DAMN about 98% of Americans.
