She alleges that Hundley had been drinking double vodkas before he blurted out, “Shut that n—-r baby up!
There was NO excuse for this man to verbally & Physically abuse this 2 year old boy. Not alcohol, not anything. this racists peice of trash said exactly what he thought and felt. He didn’t think the parents would do anything to him; just except the fact that he’d abused their son, their black son.
Do you think Joe Huntley would have called Jonah a “NIGGER BABY” had the parents been black? Just asking; because there’s NO WAY IN HELL this man would have walked off that plane in one piece had he called my baby a Nigger and slapped him/her. They’d have to put that plane on LOCKDOWN.
Joe Hunter’s behavior towards a 2 year old child is just proof of how much our black boys and men are not valued. And he wanted those parents to know just how much he hated the thought of them having that black baby.

Joe Rickey showed the parents his disapproval of their son. He thought he could get away with it b/c the parents were white. What gall!? I just can’t wrap my brain around him going up to a complete stranger and slapping their 2 year old. That’s suicide! Joe Rickey wouldn’t have EVER slapped the baby if the parents were black. I tell you what, had I been on that plane and witnessed what went down, I’d have come to the aid of the Bennetts sooner than later. The passengers were giving them the space to work it out, but as soon as he raised his hands to slap that baby, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ON & POPPIN FOR ME.

Oh I would have been on his ass like lightening and then my husband would have taken over and beat him to a pulp. He wouldn’t have been able to walk off that plane. And his jaw wouldn’t work anymore. It would have been cracked.
The Bennetts need to steel & and educate quickly. Jonah’s life depends on them knowing the RACIAL landscape, how to navigate it, to keep their son safe.
I applaud their efforts to raise their son Noah, but he has to be schooled in the ways of racial profiling. The Bennetts are living in a dream world, if they think they can shield him from folks like Huntley.
IMO, Huntley’s no better than Adam Lanza opening fire on an elementary school and killing 20 6-7 year olds. What grown ass man would verbally and physically assault a toddler for crying?
