White middle aged Mother from Canada here. Trayvon is my son too!!! It seems you chics might be able to handle the truth but does America realize how backward they really are to the rest of the western world?? Highest murder rates in the world. Highest incarceration rates in the world. Highest execution rate in the world and every idiot with half a brain cell is able to own and carry a gun. No health care for all when every nation in the free world can offer it to their citizens, America rah rah we’re the greatest country on earth, we’re rich, we’re idiots…can’t.
Zimmerman murdered a child. I know America just stopped executing children a few years back leaving only Mauritania killing kids but still. Murder a kid in Canada and the idea of self defense doesn’t even exist for you because adults are smarter than children and are supposed to be wiser and protect children. Not in America though and especially if that child is of color. Nope in America, some pudgy, Adderal (pharmaceutical meth) addicted self appointed cop wanna be but too obese and dim witted to pass the test, can claim that the kid he was stalking and staring at and profiling, attacked him. Never mind he was in a car and told to stay there. Never mind he was packing a loaded semi he bought to kill the neighbors dog. It was the kid packing fruit juice and skittles who attacked him and required lethal force OK. I can’t tell you how disgusted I am.

Fight the good fight ladies!!! There are millions of Moms like me out there in the wider world who all lay claim to Trayvon and we’re standing like a wall of support behind you. You aren’t alone and the world is not as racist as America is.
    Justice for Trayvon!!

    BUT,

if he didn’t MURDER TRAYVON because of STAND YOUR GROUND

then what reason did he have to HUNT, STALK AND MURDER that child?

  3. Zimmerman: Let there be thunder that makes the mountains tremble

    http://frederickleatherman.com/2013/05/04/zimmerman-let-there-be-thunder-that-makes-the-mountains-tremble/

The defendant’s friend, Frank Taaffe, described the defendant’s state of mind the night that he stalked and killed Trayvon Martin.

He was mad as hell and he wasn’t going to take it anymore.

Given that Taaffe uttered this statement after he found out about the shooting, I believe we can reasonably assume that he believed the defendant pursued and confronted Trayvon with murder in mind.

    Why did he believe that?

Why was the defendant so angry?

What was it that the defendant was not going to take anymore?

I have puzzled over Taaffe’s statement ever since I heard him say it.

Despite a lack of objective evidence that would support a belief that the gated neighborhood was besieged by burglars and thieves, the defendant appears to have believed that was actually happening, or he pushed that false narrative in hopes of creating a justification for the Homeowner’s Association to hire him to provide security.

He also appears to have believed that the burglars and thieves were Black and they always got away.

  4. Zimmerman opts not to stand his ground

George Zimmerman made it official yesterday. The killer of Trayvon Martin will forgo a “Stand Your Ground” immunity hearing and take his chances with a jury of his peers. We’ve known this for a while. Zimmerman attorney Mark O’Mara said as much last August. And he insisted to me last February that the law didn’t apply to his client. That’s the one area where O’Mara and Benjamin Crump, the attorney for Trayvon’s parents, agree.

SYG greatly expands the longstanding legal right to defend yourself in your home or place of work without a duty to retreat before using deadly force. In 2005, Florida expanded that zone of protection to wherever you have a legal right to be. In addition, it granted the covered person immunity from prosecution. All that’s needed is for a judge to rule in that person’s favor.

But as The New York Times reports today, “During a self-defense immunity hearing, the defendant, not the prosecutor, bears the burden of proof.” And the burden on Zimmerman would have been great. From his injuries, the screams, the lack of his DNA on Trayvon to the placement of Trayvon’s hands, Zimmerman would have been in for an intense grilling to explain a host of contradictions.

By putting his fate in the hands of a jury, Zimmerman shifts the burden of proof away from himself. He also will be able to go full force on putting Trayvon and his actions on trial. As we’ve seen, Trayvon brings out the worst in people. He inspires rabid hate in people who didn’t know him. And folks seem eager to paint the 17-year-old, who was only armed with a bag of Skittles and an iced tea, as a thug who got what he deserved.

“We can live with a jury verdict,” Crump told me in February, when I was interviewing Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon’s mother. “We will respect the rule of law.” But getting to that point will be ugly. Jury selection begins June 10.

  5. Dear Angela Corey, please do not accept any plea deals for George Zimmerman. He is a menace to society. We cannot have him snapping in a moment’s notice and gunning down innocent kids b/c of an assumption he made in his own mind. Cage this animal!

Still think that snake has something up his sleeve

    • roderick2012 says:

Vitaminlover, O’Mara is going to present the ‘conspiracy against George to appease the darkies’ defense.

That’s why he has so many Sanford policemen on his witness list, and/or he’s playing the racist donors into believing that he will present a defense at all.

But after that embarrassment during that hearing Tuesday one would think that O’Mara and West would pack it in.

However, O’Mara has riled up the racists who want something for their money so O’Mara has to at least give them a show.

No Stand Your Ground, for you Zmmerman. More like SIT YOUR ASS DOWN in that jail cell.

    • leutisha says:

LMAO at that SYAD in that jail cell.

And if he really had any mercy – he’d write a check for wrongful death to Trayvon’s parents while riding in that Escalade on his way to prison because he did the right thing and pled guilty.

I’ll bet a paycheck (I can finally say that, LOL) that his damned mouthpieces told him to drop the “Stand Your Ground” defense because that dog wasn’t going to hunt. Right now, they just want to get the best deal – I’m betting Zimmerman doesn’t even want a trial, unless it’s a trial where there’s no jury and a judge has to make the decision.

      • Ametia says:

See Georgie Z., thought he was going to be rolling in the DOUGH, after he put up that web site begging for money to feign his innocence

        doughboy
