Videos | America’s INFRASTRUCTURE & BRIDGES to NOWHERE

OVER 80,000 US BRIDGES ARE FUNCTIONALLY OBSOLETE And for the last 5 years, President Obama has been calling on CONGRESS to help write legislation so that he can sign the bills into law for decent 21st century AMERICAN INFRASTRUCTURE.

Here’s a prelude to the obsolete, failing infrastructure in our country:

Here’s President Obama’s calls for rebuilding and maintaining America’s INFRASTRUCTURE

2013 Trains collide and bridge collapses in Missouri. And while the trains took down a portion of the bridge, it was still not structurally SOUND.

Rachel Maddow’s on it. See this is where our focus should be here in AMERICA. We pay our taxes and have a right to get our tax dollars to pay for the safety of our roads and bridges.

Big ED is back. See, CHRIS HAYES this is how it’s done!!!

How many more bridges, cars, buses, and trucks are we going to see fall into the rivers across America, before the ciitzens of each state hold their elected officals accountable to work in their best interest to push the shovel-ready projects ahead and get our infrastructure into the 21st century. And this includes HIGH SPEED RAILS SYSTEMS.

Bridges Shouldn’t Have to Collapse for Congress to Get Serious About Infrastructure

    May 28, 2013 John Nichols – TheNation

“How many more bridges must collapse, how many people must be hurt or die and how many billions of dollars must be drained from our economy before Congress makes investing in the basic infrastructure of our country a priority?”

That was the question from Terry O’Sullivan, the general president of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, after last week’s collapse of the Interstate 5 Bridge over the Skagit River in Washington State.

    O’Sullivan has asked it before.

In fact, he and his union have been focused on infrastructure issues for so long that they don’t just have questions. They’ve got answers.

    • Hi Shannon!

Ametia did a very good job. These bridges falling down is too scary. I am so afraid of the Horace Wilkinson Bridge in Louisiana. I pray everytime I cross that bridge.

    • Ametia says:

You’re not ignorant, Shannon. It’s just so much going on; we have to pay attention to what is in our greater interest and not what the media chooses to report. They try to DRIVE the narrative.

      • Wow what a Gorgeous Avi!
