State of Florida vs George Zimmerman Trial (day 7 )

Judge Debra Nelson10(Yahoo News) – Jurors on Monday heard George Zimmerman say he never tried to identify himself as a neighborhood watch volunteer to Trayvon Martin before fatally shooting the unarmed black teenager.

“I was scared,” Zimmerman said in a taped police interrogation three days after the killing in this central Florida town, which was replayed at his murder trial.

The six-member, all-female jury in Seminole County court listened to a tape of the February 29 interrogation, during which lead police investigator Chris Serino suggested that Zimmerman had several opportunities to defuse his fatal encounter with Martin before it ended in bloodshed.

But Zimmerman acknowledged he never sought to identify himself to the youth, who was a stranger never before seen by Zimmerman and aroused the neighborhood watchman’s suspicions as the youth walked through the housing development on that rainy night.

Mark O’Mara’s was on 360 with Anderson Cooper. It sounded like the State may not be able to introduce GZ’s school records into evidence. Not sure, as I was surfing and came upon him talking. He’s making the media rounds to gain support for it.

I watched one short segment on Rev. Al’s show of Dr. Rap; she showed how she could punch herself in front of the jury and it would produce the injuries GZ had. I have no context, but I thought that was interesting. I agree with the theory about the gun recoil. I had been thinking GZ had somehow created those wounds himself. Since I have heard so little actual testimony I don’t know if he had time to do that. Thanks for posting the timeline of the calls. I knew that would highlight the short amount of time of phone calls. That’s enough for me to know GZ was locked and loaded and ready to do damage to Trayvon. Is there a site on you tube I can see past testimony. Thanks everyone.

  6. GrannyStandingforTruth says:

Oh I forgot to say, I’ll see y’all tomorrow or later on tonight.

  7. GrannyStandingforTruth says:

Okay, sorry I don’t have much to say today, except that I’m glad that the prosecution is exposing Zimmerman’s lying child killing ass, And I’m glad that the prosecution brought up West and his daughters picture that was posted. West knows that his daughters and he were making fun of Rachel. Slimy, sleazy, immoral, shysters = West and MOM.

Well…I’m going and look at my favorite show “House Hunters.” I love that show, enjoy seeing different layouts of homes and trying to guess which house people will pick. It’s informative too
Have a blessed and victorious day!.

    • Ametia says:

THANKS, SG2! I’m REALLY going to ENJOY watching Dr. Valerie Rao snatch O’Mara’s wig.

      REPLAY, REPLAY, REPLAY:

Dr. Rao to MARK O’Mara: “WHY ARE WE LOOKING AT HALF PHOTOS AND DISTORTIONS, WHEN I HAVE FULL PHOTOS HERE?”

Short: Get that SHIDIGGETY out of my face. I’ve got the real deal here, MOFO.

  8. CarolMaeWY says:

TY Ametia for answering my question Rene.

    • Ametia says:

You’re welcome, CarolMae. Ever since Trayvon’s murder last year, Rene S. has been writing about the case in the Sentinel. She extremely BIASED

      • CarolMaeWY says:

I gathered that. I tried very hard to stay away from that stuff. It’s not like I didn’t know it wasn’t happening, I just didn’t take names or read it. I can’t stand the commenting lawyers or most hosts, but it is what it is I guess. I really want justice for Trayvon and others in similar situations. I’m off to watch videos for a while. Stay strong. Thanks again or this blog.

    • Ametia says:

George carried a loaded 9 mm semi automatic and was afraid of a 17 year old unarmed black boy. OOOPS!

      • Xena says:

I’m wondering if the State introduced the latent print expert to set a stage that it’s impossible for a person to own a gun, used it repeatedly at a firing range, and only leave one unidentifiable fingerprint behind. If rain diminishes fingerprints, then it would mean that Zimmerman had that gun out in the elements, rather than only between himself and Trayvon for the time it took for him to aim and fire.

      • aquagranny911 says:

@Xena Maybe Z wiped the gun before he holstered it. Trayvon never touched that gun. Z knew he killed & also knew police procedure.

        • Xena says:

          Hi Granny.

@Xena Maybe Z wiped the gun before he holstered it. Trayvon never touched that gun

There’s a possibility that Zimmerman wiped the gun to remove fingerprints — in the event that Jon used the gun to “impact” Zimmerman’s head.

      • Ametia says:

Zimmerman knew police procedure, especially the how to’s on handling firearms. That’s what the state wants to enter into evidence tomorrow, his crime school records, grades, etc.

  9. GrannyStandingforTruth says:

Zimmerman is not smiling like he was on Hannity’s show. Same thing make you laugh, will make you cry.

    • Ametia says:

Yes; because GZ thought he was surrounded in that little FOX bubble of hate and bigotry. He thought he had the protection of the complexion. Zimmerman Never thought he’d be sitting in a courtroom charged with 2nd degree MURDER.

  10. Ametia says:

That freak show with O’Mara questioning Dr. Rao about photos of GZ’s head injuries reminds me of the scene from the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Dr. Gonzo: “It’s okay. he’s just admiring the shape of your skull.” This is one of the more menacing “Fear And Loathing”quotes.

  11. GrannyStandingforTruth says:

    Okay, ladies, I’m back.

  12. What happened to Don West today?

  13. Court is in recess until tomorrow 8:30am for attorneys. The jury will be back at 9am

  14. Ametia says:

    I see that HAG Rene.

  15. Ametia says:

There’s Sybrina. She looks quite studious in her glasses.

  16. The jury has been excused for the day. Judge Nelson says they need to take care of some things outside of their presence.

    • Ametia says:

I’ll bet it’s about auguing whether GZ had knowledge of SYG. Because if he did and said he didn’t that would be oh soooooo INCRIMINATING

      • roderick2012 says:

I recall soon after the re-enactment was release a lawyer noted that George hit all of the elements to make the shooting a SYG case.

I guess that was the real reason why George moved in with his BFF Osterman–so they could create a scenario which would fit the SYG law.

      • aquagranny911 says:

Nailed that! I do believe that Z thought he could use that defense until his lawyers said “No way!” We have to try for self defense so we can get your sorry ass off.

  17. Next witness up

Kristen Benson. A seminole county sheriff fingerprint examiner

  18. Court’s back in session..

  19. Please don’t let Don West question anyone. I ate a late lunch.. I don’t wanna go to sleep. I don’t want to miss anything. :)

  20. Xena says:

No way is O’Mara going to find case law to support his argument. I think it’s the only grade of A that Zimmerman earned in college. The rest of his grades were so low that even the A did not raise his GPA to a 3.0.

  21. Court is in recess for 30 minutes.

  22. Ametia says:

O’Mara doesn’t want the STATE to present the evidence of GZ’s background in criminal education.

Because he does’;t want it to come out that GZ used that information to play RENT-A-COP.

  23. Xena says:

The camera was just on Sybrina. She looks so dignified in her eyeglasses. Sending her love and hugs through the Spirit. God be with her.

  24. Court’s back in session

  25. Prosecutors filed a motion Monday in response to a photo defense attorney Don West’s daughter posted last week.

    http://tiny.cc/6d0lzw

SANFORD — Prosecutors have asked a judge in the George Zimmerman trial to conduct an inquiry into an Instagram photo of a defense attorney eating ice cream with his daughters, but the lawyer said Tuesday that it was unrelated to testimony in the case.

Prosecutors claimed in their motion the photo was posted after defense attorney Don West’s tense cross-examination with prosecution witness Rachel Jeantel last week.

The caption in the photo posted by West’s daughter reads “We beat stupidity celebration cones” and the hashtag “#dadkilledit.”

Prosecutors said an inquiry was necessary “to ensure that witnesses and court proceedings are treated with respect and not as occasions for inappropriate jokes.”

West said in a court filing Tuesday that the ice cream photo was taken a day before Jeantel testified and has nothing to do with her testimony. He called the prosecution’s motion “irresponsible” and said he had nothing to do with the posting of the photo or its caption.

West said he has stopped for ice creams each night since the trial started and he was joined by his daughters a week ago. They decided to capture the moment with a photo because one of his daughters lives out of town, he said.

“It was not taken for any such purpose or in any way as a comment on anything having to do with the case,” West said in the filing. “To me it was a private moment with my family. My daughter accepts responsibility for her immature and insensitive comment and apologizes for it.”

Jeantel was talking to Trayvon Martin on the phone moments before he was fatally shot by George Zimmerman last year. She is considered a star witness for prosecutors.

Zimmerman pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, claiming he shot Martin in self-defense.

  26. Ametia says:

    The kickboxing QUESTIONS!

  27. Xena says:

Zimmerman didn’t kill Trayvon because his head was allegedly being hit on concrete. Zimmerman said he shimmied his head off the sidewalk. That threat was removed.

Zimmerman didn’t kill Trayvon because Trayvon allegedly smothered him. Zimmerman said he killed Trayvon because Trayvon went for his gun. Once the State places focus on that in closing arguments, O’Mara has no argument to counter because Zimmerman plainly says that he pinned Trayvon’s arm to prevent him from getting to the gun — but Zimmerman took it from its holster, aimed, and shot Trayvon in the heart anyway.

  28. Court is in recess for 15 minutes…

Trayvon Martin Was One of the Few Guys Who Didn’t Tease Rachel Jeantel- ROD VEREEN
    Jul 2, 2013
    By Blackamericaweb.com

Tom Joyner Morning Show commentator Roland Martin talks with Rachel Jeantel’s attorney Rod Vereen about the 19-year-old’s crucial testimony in the George Zimmerman case, the misrepresentation of her character in the media and he reveals exclusive details about her friendship with Trayvon.

According to Vereen, Martin was one of the good guys who did not ridicule the teenager. Vereen recounted a prior interview with Jeantel where she explained their bond, “she said he was one of the few guys that never made fun of me, about the way I dressed, about the way I talked, about my hair, about my complexion… about my weight.”

    http://blackamericaweb.com/142401/trayvon-martin-was-one-of-the-few-guys-who-didnt-tease-rachel-jeantel-rod-vereen/

    • aquagranny911 says:

This just made me cry. Poor Rachel lost her best friend, got treated like caca by West & then got trashed in the media. Pobresito, I am glad she has Mr Vereen to stand for her. Rachel did a fine job of standing to bear witness for Trayvon with respeto for his family & even for that scum West who treated her so nasty.

  30. rikyrah says:

Is this Dr. Rao as good as twitter says?

  31. O’Mara, just go bang your own head on the sidewalk and then come tell if it’s possible, how’s that?

  32. Ametia says:

    BWA HA HA HA

Dr. Rao to MOM: “WHY ARE WE LOOKING AT HALF PHOTOS AND DISTORTIONS, WHEN I HAVE FULL PHOTOS HERE?”

  33. Xena says:

Zimmerman would have been standing upside down to get a bump on the top of his head.

I can’t wait until the witness from the gym testifies. I still believe that Zimmerman got his azz whipped at the gym that Friday.

    • Ametia says:

Xena that stupid O’Mara rolling up i n court with distorted pics of GZ and wants a qualified medical examiner to buy that bullshit.

      • Xena says:

@Ametia. Ever hear of the “Christian Burial Speech”? That term was developed in a case to describe psychological means to get a defendant to agree or say what law enforcement wants. O’Mara is using that on witnesses. The first shield of defense for the target person is confidence. The second shield is to respond to show how the person questioning is wrong (such as O’Mara’s scenarios). West also tried that with Jeantel, but there’s no shame in her game.

      • Ametia says:

LOL@*no shame in her game.* Xena, except for Rachel Jeantel, the witnesses who don’t live in Sanford seem to have the mentality of a gnat.

      • Ametia says:

Yes; I’ve heard of it. That only works for folks who can be easily swayed, who leave themselves open for these kinds of pychic attacks. Preying on folks vulnerabilities and ignorance.

        • Xena says:

          @Ametia.

Preying on folks vulnerabilities and ignorance.

Yes, and fear and shame. It’s like the accuser of the brethren … “If thou be … then do this.”

Sad thing about the case that introduced the Christian Burial Speech is that an admitted murderer was set free because of its use. So, using evil does not result in good.

    • roderick2012 says:

Xena: Zimmerman would have been standing upside down to get a bump on the top of his head.

Alternately, Trayvon would have had been eight feet tall and had George by his ankles and slamming the top of his head directly onto the concrete.

      • Ametia says:

Throughout GZ’s entire story-telling, he’s tried to paint Trayvon as some Super Human negro, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! Look! in the trees, on the sidewalk! It’s Super NEGRO Trayvon! Just Damn ridiculous.

        • roderick2012 says:

It’s Super NEGRO Trayvon! Just Damn ridiculous.

Yes. Just like all of his racist supporters have been playing up the Mandingo theory–Trayvon was a football player, a super athlete, strong.

They just haven’t called Trayvon a big strong buck yet, but I am sure they are thinking it.

  34. Ametia says:

Dr.Rao to O’Mara: IT’S JUST THE SHAPE OF THE HADE, MOFO!

  35. Xena says:

I hope the doctor addresses that if the side of ZIm’s head was slammed, it somehow missed his elephant flop ears.

  36. Xena says:

Oh -oh. O’Mara doesn’t know where to go with Dr. Rao. She knows her stuff.

Trayvon Martin and Black Manhood On Trial

    Mychal Denzel Smith on July 2, 2013 – 10:36 AM ET\

    SNIP

The jury will have to decide who they believe in this instance, Jeantel or Zimmerman, and it is this that has me concerned. Brittney Cooper, writing for Salon, captured it succinctly: “…black womanhood, black manhood and urban adolescence are always on trial in the American imaginary.”

Zimmerman’s innocence rests on the notion of Trayvon’s criminality. And in this country, it’s not that difficult to convince six people of the criminality of a 17-year-old black boy.

    SNIP

    http://www.thenation.com/blog/175065/trayvon-martin-and-black-manhood-trial#axzz2XulapGhx

  38. Xena says:

O’Mara is trying to change law giving people the right to use deadly force in response to being hit in the nose. (sigh)

    • Ametia says:

But you can only use deadly force if you’re hit in the nose by an unarmed black boy.

      There, FIXED!

    • roderick2012 says:

I wonder if the State tested the elbows of Trayvon’s hoodie to determine if any of George’s DNA was on it.

      • Xena says:

@roderick2012. The lab cut swabs of material from all the garments wherever they saw a stain.

        • roderick2012 says:

          wherever they saw a stain.

But Trayvon’s hoodie was black or blue so they could have missed some of George’s DNA (saliva, mucus, etc.).

          • Xena says:

            @roderick2012.

But Trayvon’s hoodie was black or blue so they could have missed some of George’s DNA (saliva, mucus, etc.).

Trayvon’s hoodie was dark grey. His sweatshirt beneath it was grey. Have you read the lab reports for where stains were detected and then tested? If not, maybe you should. I don’t believe that Trayvon’s elbow hit GZ in the nose. My contention is that the gun’s recoil injured GZ’s nose. He shot with one hand and the gunshot residue on the back of his jacket sleeve also gives reason to support recoil. In fact, GZ’s own re-enactment supports that he was hit by recoil.

            http://youtu.be/DDQSldvDbMc&rel=0

  39. Ametia says:

O’mara’s trying to ask questions that require yes or no. Rao’s not having it. She’s going to give her accounting.

  40. Xena says:

Has West done any cross-examination today?

  41. Ametia says:

    JN just told O’Mara:

  44. Ametia says:

John Guy’s in the hizzy. Go get’em Guy!

  45. Zimmerman: No regrets. ” it was all God’s plan.”

  46. When GZ can’t explain he starts the “I don’t know…it happened so quickly” BS.

  47. Ametia says:

GZ the KICKBOXER! He’s in shape during this interview. Screaming for help with a LOADED GUN.

    cmonson

  48. The lies the lies…

Trayvon wasn’t running, then running, then skipping.

    • meta: Zimmerman immediately puts Trayvon Martin in a double bind: blames him for walking in the rain then indicts him for speeding up.

    • Ametia says:

Like Liza and Booman have so eloquently penned, TIME is not on GZ’s side. The way he’s been portraying Trayvon to be this SUPER HERO with lightening speed is soooo not possible.

Keep spinning the lies, murdering Zimmerman!

    • One cannot scream if you’re being smothered…

      • Ametia says:

SG2, the plain logic/ilogical explanations of Trayvon’s murder are breath-taking. My 16 month old grandson could easily draw conclusions to the evidence being put forth.

      • Xena says:

        @SG2.

One cannot scream if you’re being smothered…

That’s right. Also, one can’t scream when swallowing — blood or anything else.

    • Ametia says:

GZ: I didn’t think I’d hit him. (SHOT) Trayvon. MOFO you had a loaded gun, ready to fire. You shot him.

Trayvon sat up and said “YOU GOT ME.” Get the FUCK outta here!

  49. Xena says:

Good afternoon everyone. I’m trying to catch up while court is in recess.

3Chics and SG2, thanks for having these daily posts so we can share as we watch trial.

    • Ametia says:

Hi Xena. You’re welcome. SG2’s been bringing it. We’re now watching Hannity play defense lawyer for this murderer

    • Thank you for being here with us and giving your great analysis. Bring on your analysis.

      • Xena says:

@SG2. My analysis?!?!! O’Mara is cunningly deceptive, and the 6 members of the jury have probably met men like him. Weighing testimony includes the questions.

Wow! Dr. Rao is running circles around O’Mara.

  50. Ametia says:

Oh dear God. GZ: “I wasn’t following him. I was going in the same direction as him.”

WHAT THE FUCK? JUST WHAT THE FUCK?

  51. GZ: Uh… It was raining, he was looking into the houses, looking behind, looking at me, he wasn’t walking quickly to get out of the rain..he didn’t look like he was trying to head home, he didn’t look like a hardcore athlete that wanting to like train in the rain or anything. He just looked out of place.

    • Ametia says:

      Shorter: HE’S BLACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

    • Liza says:

“He didn’t look like a hardcore athlete..”

Trayvon was fairly tall but very lean. He looked like a kid who had just had a growth spurt in the last year and had not yet filled out. Also, if you go back to the surveillance video from the convenience store you can see that his demeanor was that of a normal person, not a “tough guy” like Zimmerman pretends to be.

Here’s my point. Zimmerman not only profiled Trayvon as a young, black male wearing a hoodie so he must be up to no good. Zimmerman also profiled Trayvon as a person who could be intimidated and bullied. Zimmerman carried a loaded ready to fire weapon, but he probably would not have gone after a larger man who could have easily kicked his ass.

  52. State to play Hannity interview next.

  53. Court is back in session..

  54. Hey 3CP

CarolMae has a good heart. I watched her on Twitter for some time bring laughter and joy to cheer up GoBrooklyn and make her feel happy. It was very heart -warming.

  55. Court is in recess until 1:30pm

  56. Ametia says:

Rik and SG2, check your emails, please. Thanks!

  57. aquagranny911 says:

I have a completely tacky shallow comment/question. Just how many figging suits does the Zman have? It’s been seven days & I don’t think I have seen any repeats in his clothing. He dresses like he’s hoping for a photo shoot with GQ. I am finding this really offensive on some level but I’m petty like that.

    • Ametia says:

AG; the defense team are trying to dress up this murderer and make it appear he’s credible. no amount of new suits will redeem this MOFO child killer.

The $$$ from his racists followers, who prolly don’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of.

    • roderick2012 says:

But of course GZ’s Sugar Daddy has invested lots of money in defense expert witnesses so it would stand to reason that Georgie would have some nice threads to wear to court.

Gotta kill the skin head image that Trayvon saw that night.

      • aquagranny911 says:

You noticed that too. They also need the hair to cover up the natural lumpiness of his head so they can claim his head got banged. I would really like to see his head shaved again so we could make a comparison of then & now.

      • Ametia says:

Also gotta KILL that “MMA body training look” and thus the nasty FATBOY we see sitting in the courtroom day and day out. The defense is not SLICK.

      • roderick2012 says:

Is me or did anyone else notice that George seemed to be wearing oversized clothes the day after the shooting during the re-enactment?

Maybe to make himself look smaller than he was?

    • I am offended by his smiling in court as if he doesn’t have a worry in the world. He’s constantly writing things down on pad like he is part of the defense team & not the person on trial for 2nd degree murder. He’s arrogant & very cocky. A straight up psycho!

      • Ametia says:

Ditto! He’s feeling that suit. Defense told him that it makes him look like an all Amur-kin man. NOT!

      • roderick2012 says:

SG2: I am offended by his smiling in court as if he doesn’t have a worry in the world.

George is just channeling the glee that his supporters feel about killing a black male and (almost) getting away with it.

SG2 sez: He’s constantly writing things down on pad like he is part of the defense team & not the person on trial for 2nd degree murder.

If I remember correctly in one of his previous scrapes with the law George’s lawyer called him a control freak who was always giving advice.

  58. Hey 3CP,

I’m reading on Twitter the State has filed a motion regarding Molly West’s pic!

    *BOOM SHAKA LAKA*

    • roderick2012 says:

No one has mentioned it but isn’t West a little old to have daughters that young?

He has to be pushing 70 so they have to be products from his third or fourth marriage.

    • roderick2012 says:

I forgot to add that it’s a waste of the State’s time to play the social media tit-for-tat game with the defense.

The State needs to focus all of its attention on the case and not be distracted by West’s twit daughters.

      • Liza says:

Yeah, social media has really created a new dimension in high profile trials and the State is really at a disadvantage. They need to focus on getting the conviction. But it is so satisfying to see Don West get slapped upside the head because he is such a pompous prick who really believes that his kind should rule the world. Actually, what he and his daughters did was an egregious act of misconduct, calling a witness stupid on a social media site, and he should be disciplined because under absolutely no circumstances should lawyers be allowed to this.

    • Ametia says:

LOL@ BOOM SHAKA LAKA* West is soooo UNPRINCIPLED. It’s only logical that his daughters follow suit. He and his Klan were wrong and they know it.

    • Ametia says:

      Oops!

      HAVE A SEAT CHILD-tumblr_mh1fe2Fh3z1qlxyddo1_400

    • aquagranny911 says:

The judge was very wise to sequester this jury. There is no other way they could have remained untainted by the media etc if they stayed in their own homes.

      • roderick2012 says:

The request for sequester was originally the defense’s idea because they wanted older white retirees who they thought would slant more conservative and therefore toward their client and the sequester would be difficult for young mothers who would have younger children and teenagers and would more than likely identify with Trayvon.

Of course the judge didn’t have much of a choice after hearing all of the crap that O’Mara and West dished out during their media tour to smear Trayvon. All of which could have been prevented if Judge Lester or Judge Nelson had issued a gag order.

  59. TRAYVON MARTIN DID NOT TOUCH GEORGE ZIMMERMAN’S GUN: THERE WAS NO STRUGGLE FOR THE GUN

    • CarolMaeWY says:

Was this introduced into evidence? Where can I find the videos of the trial? I’ve missed so much. I really wanted to see the autopsy report witness.

  60. Next witness up

    Mark Osterman

  61. Court is back in session.

  62. CarolMaeWY says:

By the way, I’m assuming you guys know I’m an older white woman from WY. We aren’t seeing a black as a threat. We see him as human. Me means me and my husband. I don’t understand the way things are.

    • Carol,

We just want to exposed the ones that are racist evil and a system that allows the shooter of an unarmed black kid to go home after committing murder.

      • CarolMaeWY says:

I know, and I don’t understand those whites. I never have. Who wants to live with that hate inside you?

      • roderick2012 says:

When l lived in central Florida back in the mid-2000’s I would always fly out of the Orlando airport for work.

For whatever reason whenever I saw a traffic sign with ‘Sanford’ on it I would get a chill.

Maybe subconsciencely I remembered the story about Jackie Robinson being run out of town by the Klan.

From what I heard second hand about yesterday’s testimony (especially Serino’s and Singletary’s) not much has changed.

    • Ametia says:

CarolMae. You make an honest, spot on point. You’ve admitted to being white and not understanding the way things are. And it’s why we make these threads and fight for Trayvon. If you’ve never experienced what Trayvon and many of us who are black have experienced. being followed in stores, being ignored in resturants, stopped by cops for no reason, etc. you wouldn’t know how things are in this country.

      • CarolMaeWY says:

True, and I don’t understand why they are suspect to follow blacks or whoever and harass. I really don’t understand wanting to carry a concealed weapon, locked and loaded. It’s not right, it’s just not right.

      • Ametia says:

No it’s not right. So we just keep on fighting the system and folks who would deny us the same justice under the laws of this country until it becomes right.

  63. CarolMaeWY says:

Is this the page we come to all day to vent? I don’t have enough time to watch all day, but sometimes I want to scream. I just know in my gut from in my soul that Zimmerman shot Trayvon “In Cold Blood” Lord have mercy.

  64. court is in recess for 15 minutes.

    • Hi Aquagranny!

The moderator won’t approve comments to counter the hateful ones from Zimmerman supporters but theirs are approved all day long. It’s so disgusting!

    • Ametia says:

Hi AG. Nice to see you. My feed keeps pausing too. Thanks for the link!

The comment sections on these sites is like stepping into a foul-smelling SEWER. The hate and bigotry is soooo beyond the pale.

      • aquagranny911 says:

It makes me want to vomit & then scrub myself with bleach. If those commenters live in that community, now we know why the police bungled their investigation of this crime.

      • Ametia says:

I ignore them too. Liza said their are more CaCs in Seminole County than mosquitos. Once she dropped that comment at the beginning of the trial, I knew the comments on the Florida sites would be sheer FUCKERY.

  66. I cannot believe this BS. Serino knows damn well there were NO muffled screams. He said it himself on the recording.

    • How is it possible for Trayvon to smother Zimmerman and not have any of Zimmerman’s blood or DNA on him?

      • Ametia says:

The very notion of entertaining the idea that an UNARMED Trayvon Martin was the “AGGRESSOR” speaks volumes about the state of this country. He had every right to DEFEND himself. It’s mind-blowing, and I’m ANGRY beyond words!

      • aquagranny911 says:

Because Z’s nose was hit by the gun recoil not by being punched. Z jumped up before the blood started. I said yesterday how I think Z hurt the back of his head. It is just so figging bad that the cops did not get out there with luminol the night it happened to check out those utility covers embedded in the grass.

I know they have to call Law enforcement as witness but the cops bungled this whole thing from hour one because they thought it was just another “black punk” dead & no one would care.

Imagine their surprise when they found out that a whole lot of people cared!

      • Ametia says:

So true, AG. The SPD fucked up the investigation and evidence. GZ had ample time to get rid of evidence. Say, like gun residue on his nose? So much WRONG with this killing. But all that dirt and filth will come to light. That jury is getting the stories and they’d better put them all together and come up with a logical reason why they decided what they’re about to decide.

  67. Michael Baisden :This case is ridiculous! If this guy gets away it’s going to impact Blacks confidence in getting equal justice under the law!
    **********************
I’ve been saying this all along. This case is critical b/c it will have an affect on the lives of black men across the country.

  68. Ametia says:

O’Mara is feeding Serrino Gz’s words. Let Serrino speak for himself.

  69. Ametia says:

GZ was not a police officer, and he had NO right to get out of his vehicle and pursue Trayvon and KILL HIM.

    • Liza says:

Furthermore, if he was acting in his capacity as Neighborhood Watch captain, he attended a presentation where he was told not to confront people and he was given a training manual that said the same thing.

  70. I hope y’all realize black males in America are on trial.

  71. Mark O’Mara: Could Trayvon Martin have been planning to commit a crime but didn’t get to?

Serino: There was no evidence of that.

  72. Ametia says:

O’Mara are you trying to get Serrino to admit that PROFILING black males is acceptable?

  73. Mark O’Mara: Zimmerman was concerned about neighborhood being burglarized by black males……one who was arrested and sentenced to 5 years in prison

    ********************
Is O’Mara helping to prove Zimmerman profiled Trayvon?

  74. Tony Pipitone : State notes Serino had no DNA, ballistics, statement from Rachel Jeantel when he challenged Zimmerman.

  75. Bernie de la Rionda: Did you believe George Zimmerman was exaggerating the manner in which he was hit?

    Serino: Yes

  76. Ametia says:

Call out the LIES, Bernie. CALL.THEM.OUT.

  77. Point out the lies, Bernie! Point them out!

  78. Bernie de la Rionda plays video and points out there’s an address in plain view of where Zimmerman said he was before following Trayvon .

    *BOOM*!

    • Ametia says:

Zimmerman had NO reason whatsoever to get his punk ass out of that car. He intentionally set out to stalk Trayvon. He’s a fucking predator/MURDERER.

      • I hope the guy from CarMax gets to testify how Zimmerman bullied him every day and how he was a master manipulator to get others to believe what a nice guy he was.

  79. bob kealing : State effective in redirect pointing out GZ referring to these guys…a-holes…Fing punks. Serino: Could be construed as profiling.

  80. Bernie de la Rionda: does calling someone “punk” or “a-hole” indicate “ill will, hatred or spite?”

    Serino: “no.”
    ****************************
What? So uttering effin coons doesn’t indicate ill will hatred or spite? Make it stop!

    • jelana says:

They are saying it was “effin punks”, but it still shows some form of ill will.

    • @SouthernGirlz:

It was effin punks SouthernGirlz! LOL! When I first heard that, I said,’Who the hell is he calling effin coons?” He is not that far removed from a black person himself! What does he see when he looks in the mirror? Not a white man, because his skin is as dark as mine! The language that Fogen used, was despicable! He eidn’t even know this boy and used that kind of language to describe a freaking kid he didn’t even know, and thought was up to no good! Who appointed him judge, jury and executioner to refer to this kid as an effin coon, and looked suspicious? What is up wwith this Police Officer? ::In my girly voice:: ‘Oh, GZ didn’t sound angry of like he had any ill will agains thte boy. He didn’t even know he had shot him until I told him!’ WTF? Fogen is two faced and his polite demeanor is a fake one for show and telll. If he didn’t answer Yes Sir or No Ma’m, he probably got hit for it from his Mom. A polite murderer!? Ted Bundy was charming and engaging and so were the other million of criminals who have come thru the annals of the 20th and 21st century. So Fogen showed no ill will or emotion during the interview? He thought the cops were his friends. He was amongst FRIENDS! BUDDIES! He is a socio-path to the max! He is a severely damaged man IMO!

Socio-paths do not show any emotion! Bring out the forensic evidence and the cell phone, text, and e-mails messages so we can read how he called TM the N word, and how he bragged about getting away with his murder! I am sick of this already and the DA needs to get real now with these cops who know good and well, why they acted the way they did! Open up those can of worms! Where is the truth from these cops? What are scared of?

    • jelana says:

No telling what is going on @SPD. Serino is now a patrolman. We really don’t know how that demotion came about although the claim is that he requested it.

  81. Bernie de la Rionda is up questioning Chris Serino.

  82. Chris Serino is back on the stand.

    • Yamiche Alcindor ‏:Zimmerman told Serino 911 screams didn’t sound like him but Serino says that didn’t change the direction of officer questions

    • @SouthernGirl2: Serrino is a pig and should be ashamed of himself for what he attempted to do. He was very sympathetic when he was questioning Fogen, about how Tm was a good kid and from a good family, and wondering what could have set TM off to “brutally beat” Fogen. Now, he appears frightened and scared for his life!

  83. Hey 3CP

Don West missed a deposition when he was out posing for an ice cream photo with his girls. Ain’t that some ish?

  84. Judge Nelson will not allow Serino’s statement on record.

  85. rikyrah says:

    @DestiGrace1
Atty for #RachelJeantel live on @TJMShow stated that #Trayvon Martin was the only male who didn’t make fun of her or tease her. I knew this!

  86. Bernie de la Riona wants Serino’s “I believe Zimmerman was telling the truth” statement stricken from the record.

    • Axiom Amnesia: Zimmerman #Trayvon The Supreme Court ruled that one witness cannot testify to the truthfulness of another witness–especially a cop.

      • Judge Nelson just asked the jury to disregard Serino’s comment that he thought George Zimmerman was telling the truth.

      • @Southerrngirl2:

How are you? What is going on here? Why is Serrino stating his opinion? He knows that won’t be admitted. Why all of this favorability to Fogen? what are these cops scared of? Why isn’t the DA asking him why he wanted to charge Fogen with Manslaughter and could do so due so, due to the former Police Chief and the State’s Attorney? When is this information coming out? Why have they not introduced Fogen’s cell phone records, text messages and e-mails as of yet? I am also sick of the commentators discussing this case. They all are favorable to Fogen! I have since stopped watching all of them, even Nancy Grace who is a victims advocate!

      • Hi Deborah,

Serino is a disgrace to the uniform.

      • Ametia says:

Serrino looks like a character from teh “Sopranos.”

    • Liza says:

It’s not unusual for cops to believe a suspect based on what they know at a given point in time. Cops change their minds about suspects all the time when new evidence becomes available. Serino’s belief that Zimmerman was telling the truth is totally irrelevant and it should be struck from the record.

    It Happened So Fast

    by BooMan
Mon Jul 1st, 2013 at 07:08:44 PM EST

One of the amazing things about the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case is how quickly it all unfolded. Zimmerman’s phone call to the non-emergency number began at 7:09:34 and the fatal gunshot went off six minutes and twenty-two seconds later at 7:16:55. In fact the time between the end of Zimmerman’s phone call (7:13:41) and the gunshot (7:16:55) was a mere three minutes and fourteen seconds. The time between the end of Zimmerman’s phone call and the first witness 911 call (7:16:11) was two minutes and thirty seconds.
What’s more, Trayvon Martin was on the phone with his friend during the majority of Zimmerman’s non-emergency phone call. Martin and Rachel Jeantel were on the phone from 6:54 to 7:12, when the call was dropped roughly halfway through Zimmerman’s (7:09:34-7:13:41) call. She called him back immediately. And she was still on the phone with him at least at the beginning of the fatal 7:16 minute.

When you read the earwitness and one witnesses’s testimony, they talk about an altercation that began with heated words, then moved to grunting, then to yelps, then to cries for help, and finally a gunshot. But the whole thing seems to have taken no more than about 50 seconds. I say that because the first witness 911 call happened a mere 44 seconds before the gunshot, and yet Martin was still on the phone at the beginning of the 16th minute.

Meanwhile, Zimmerman claims that he walked down the sidewalk past where the shooting would shortly take place to Retreat View Circle and back to the T, all in this short period of time. That’s why it matters that you don’t hear any wind on his telephone past the (roughly) 7:12:19 point of his non-emergency phone call. It appears that he was back in his car at that point, and he remained there until the end of his call at 7:13:41. I don’t think he had time to exit his vehicle and walk past the ‘T’ all the way to Retreat View Circle and back to the ‘T’ in a mere two minutes and twenty seconds. But he wanted to say that he wasn’t pursuing Trayvon and that he was retreating to his car.

In fact, he lied to the police when he said that he had arranged to meet the police at his car. In fact, he had arranged for the police to call them when they arrived so that he could tell them where he was precisely because he did not plan to be at his car.

If you look at his reenactment video, you can that his lies are even more obvious.

    http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2013/7/1/19742/16616

    • Ametia says:

And those women on the jury had better take the video footage into deliberation and study it well.

    • CarolMaeWY says:

Several times yesterday I heard O’Mara ask Serino if he was under pressure and he had to rush his investigation. Who was rushing him at that point? The Martins weren’t at that time.

      • Ametia says:

LOL I have to LOL to keep from crying at O’mara and CO. Rush the investigation? If it weren’t for social media and folks rolling into Sanford, there wouldn’t have been an investigation.

    • Liza says:

The very, very short timeline is absolutely critical to proving that Zimmerman has lied about almost everything. I hope that the prosecutors nail this down to the second because that is what we are talking about here – seconds. Trayvon could not be doing two things at once that were so totally oppositional to one another. Such as talking to his friend on the telephone and telling her he needed to lose the creepy ass cracker who was stalking him but simultaneously chasing his stalker with the intent of attacking him.

  90. rikyrah says:

    Good Morning.

    Hoodies UP.

    JUSTICE4TRAYVON!

  91. mhasegawa says:

One of the commentators on Rev. Al Sharpton’s program pointed out that Zimmerman was carrying an semi-automatic and he had to have had the safety off. So not only did he not identify himself, but he was ready to shoot. The biggest question for me which is still unanswered and might never be answered directly is why Zimmerman got out of his truck.

    • Good morning, mhasegawa & everyone!

This is such a disgrace! A kid is killed & folks are pretending scratches are a grave injury. What I have learned from this case is black children are never given the benefit of the doubt. All a non black person has to say is they feared for their life and all common sense and logic goes out of the window. It doesn’t matter if their story defies logic or is impossible to believe. America has a race problem!

    • Ametia says:

      That the $64,000.00 QUESTION!

“The biggest question for me which is still unanswered and might never be answered directly is why Zimmerman got out of his truck.”<b.

Zimmerman sadi he was looking for a street address, when he fucking lives there?
