In an interview with Christi O’Connor, Shellie Zimmerman said that she and George got into a fight Saturday night, the night before he killed, Trayvon Martin, and that she left him and was staying at her father’s house. Shellie Zimmerman said she was still staying with her father on Sunday – the night of the killing of Trayvon Martin.
That means George’s dad, Robert Zimmerman Sr. lied when he was under oath and told the State Attorney that George had cooked Shellie dinner that night.
If Robert Zimmerman is going to lie about George cooking dinner for Shellie that night, when she had moved out the night before, I do not believe him when he also swore under oath that it was George Zimmerman’s voice screaming for help … I don’t believe it. So far all I’ve garnered from the George Zimmerman family is that they are pathological liars who enable their sociopathic son so much so that he killed an unarmed teenager.
Since there was none of George’s DNA on Trayvon Martin’s hands, fingers or sleeves, (see my previous diaries), I always wondered if Shellie had caused those “injuries” on George’s head sometime before he found Trayvon … now … that I know Shellie and George had a fight so bad that she left home and moved in with her dad, I am beginning to believe she did cause those injuries to George’s head on Saturday night.

Orlando donors contribute $50k to Trayvon Martin Foundation for scholarship

An Orlando auto group, law firm and black fraternity are among those offering $50,000 as a scholarship to four graduating seniors from Trayvon Martin’s high school in Dade County.
The donors, including the Boyland Auto Group and Invictus Law Group, are to present the money to the Trayvon Martin Foundation and his parents tomorrow in Isleworth.
The donors also include Delta Xi Lambda, a black fraternity based in Orlando, and Boyz-4-Lyfe, a group of long-time friends.
The money goes to the foundation, which will divide it between four 2014 graduating seniors of Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School in Miami, where Trayvon was enrolled at the time of his death, according to a news release announcing the gift.
Its purpose is to help minority teenagers, donors wrote.
“We are doing what we can to make the world a better place by not being divisive but by uplifting our community through educational opportunities for kids who otherwise would not have the same opportunity,” the donors said in their announcement.

Piglet?? BAHAAAAAAA! Your post is spot on!! I don’t know about Florida, but I went to vocational school while I was in High School during my Junior year and Senior year in HS! Why the hell didn’t Shellie have any marketable skills when she left HS? That is just not accepable today for a young woman! I have 20 something daughters. One is still in college and one just graduated from graduate school. You cannot make it today without some kind of marketable skill, or you better sing like Aretha Franklin, Fantasia Barrino, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Holiday or Patti Labelle and even then, you have to be discovered! I read that Sheliie did hair and make up but she must not have many customers because my hair dresser makes STUPID money because girlfriend is GOOD!

The victims include Trayvon and George, their families and a country that still doesn’t know the truth. Jurors never heard it. Over the next months in this blog, I will expose some of the prejudice, negligence, manipulations, mistake, politics as well as legal and judicial system failures that impacted the verdict and undermine an unsuspecting nation that deserves to know.
@roderick2012. The State knew that anything ShelLIE told them that she heard unless it came directly from George, is hearsay and would not be allowed in court. Personally, I think that some of the people were named as prosecution witnesses to keep them out of the courtroom.
Also, remember that the defense named attorney Crump as a witness and had him sequestered, but did not call him to testify. But, that was more of a ploy in effort to prevent the media from interviewing him about the day’s proceeding.
So why bother deposing her?
It seems as if it was another ploy on the State’s part to have the public believe that they were actually planning to put on a case and they knew that O’Mara would leak the story about Shellie’s deposition to his stenographer at the Orlando Sentinal.
I was wondering. Someone said during the trial that Shellie called Piglet around 6:48 the night of the shooting and it was assumed that she was the one who told Piglet about Trayvon.
If that’s true and she divorces Piglet could she testify to anything that occurred after the shooting since they would no longer be married or would those conversations and observations be covered under spousal privilege.
One other thing that has annoyed me–why did the State depose Shellie if they had no plan to use her as a witness and why did they depose her so late in the game?
IIRC both O’Mara and West attended Shellie’s deposition so they obviously knew she had some incriminating evidence against Piglet and maybe they were there to keep her in line because Piglet’s grip on Shellie had weakened after the shooting and the subsequent drama.

In his re-enactment, he said that he was hit in the nose, stumbled, fell, and Trayvon got on top of him. That is when he started screaming for help. IOWs, Zimmerman did not start yelling for help until he was on his back and according to his story, he did not get off his back until after he shot Trayvon.
However, there were witnesses at trial who reported hearing moving cries for help. (Think I’ll put that on a video.)

But she said a part of her feels “slightly” like she was hung out to dry when he did not stand up for her when she lied to a judge about how much money they had received in donations from outsiders and that the entire ordeal has hurt their relationship.
Shellie Zimmerman declined to say whether she and her husband remain together, but did say she felt “very much alone” without him in the courtroom to support her when she pleaded guilty Wednesday.
“I can rationalize a lot of reasons for why I was misleading, but the truth is I knew that I was lying,” Shellie Zimmerman said. “I wish a lot of things were different. I can’t tell you how many times I have laid at night saying God, I wish these circumstances had been different.”
Shellie and her husband spent a year and a half in hiding, isolated and in “terror” for their lives as they awaited the trial for the death of the unarmed teenager in 2012.
“I think we have been pretty much like gypsies…We’ve lived in a 20-foot trailer in the woods, scared every night that someone was going to find us and that we’d be out in the woods alone and that it would be horrific,” she said.

I watched that clip of her interview after I wrote that post here and imo it solidifies my opinion of her. in that interview she’s completely in control, she’s decisive, a little snotty and kinda rough.
and I do believe gz has dogged her out before the shooting, and more so since. I think she’s angry as hell! not scared! if she was scared of him why would she be talking all this smack about him on TV? she knows it’s not making him look good. It sounds to me like she’s a scorned woman and is trying to actually blackmail (in a way) him into doing what she wants. I would not doubt she would try that. I don’t believe she’s ready, or wants to divorce. I believe she’s actually trying to get back with him by the way she’s still suggesting he’s not a murderer. that’s not the behavior of some meek little frightened woman in my eyes. I think she’s using all the god stuff the same way gz did, to be all righteous and to appeal to the other freaks that support them. we’ve never heard of them attending any church. I don’t think they’ve even said they did. so idk what the god angle is really…
and she said they had an argument bad enough for her to leave. we know their rent was several months late. we know he barely worked. he went to get a note the very next day so he could still get paid. and we know they lived with her parents & his parents house all while they were married. I believe they’ve been scammers, users and grifters together.
remember they BOTH got credit cards each and both used them and never paid for their stuff.
also while they were together gz only worked sporadically & she used to do some kind of makeup or hair stuff. but she quit that too. just like gz would quit his jobs.
Gz even sued his employer ( for whatever) and tried to cheat the lawyer. she was with him at the time. why didn’t she do the right thing?
to me all this kinda scamming they did together makes them even. that makes them both thieves. why didn’t she dump him when they were having to live off of family members if she was any better than him?
@Shannon. Remember when GZ approached Barbara Walters wanting a hotel room for a month for him AND Shellie? I took that to convey that Shellie was not with him and getting the network to pay for a hotel room for a month for both of them was his way of getting her back.
It can’t be easy on anyone not knowing where they are going to live and how long they are going to be there until moving again. Since they moved out of the residence in R@TL overnight, chances are they owned very little to begin with. Then GZ dumped Shellie off on the Osterman’s. Had she stayed with her dad, she would not have been involved in the Peter Pan mess that ended up with her being charged with perjury.

Oh, they needed her to testify against his horribleness and that seemed like a good move. But then after this heartless move, they didn’t use her. So they added to her heart ache for what? She was the only one that pushed the killer to use the money like it was intended. Remember she asked thugboat about it , even reminding him that’s what the money was for. His reply ( and I quote ) HELL NO!
She will have to ask for this charge to be expunged as she is pleading guilty under a PTI which is normal for a first time offender. Her letter was heartbreaking. She was a naive young devoted wife. We have all been there and if you listen to the jail house calls, you will hear how little her thug of a husband actually respected or even cared for her. He has no feeling for anyone so I hope she knows she’s not alone.

@roderick2012. That’s a good point, but we never know. I noticed something on her conditions of probation. She cannot be with those who have committed or are committing crimes. What that tells me is that her trial was delayed until after George’s because based on the result of his trial, she had to consider if the plea deal was beneficial. IOWs, had she accepted the plea, and if George had been convicted, she would not have been able to visit with him while on probation herself. So, she would have been willing to go to trial had George been convicted and take her chances — either jail and not being able to see him, or acquitted and being able to visit with him.
