Good afternoon ladies!!! I was up late last night catching up on MSNBC and CNN. They had lots to say about Ted Cruz, none of it positive. I was also happy to hear the reporters and panel members bring out that the “rebellion” was because of President Obama being elected and re-elected.

Hi Xena. I was up late last night watching my “West Wing” DVD collection.
Initially, the media was too happy to champion Ted and his balls. They thought he was on par with PBO, and now? He’s supposedly a ” Piranha.” Not buying it. It’s all one big bag of entertainment for these clowns.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell says he will not allow another government shutdown as part of a strategy to repeal ObamaCare.
McConnell (Ky.) told The Hill in an interview Thursday afternoon that his party learned a painful political lesson over the past 16 days, as its approval rating dropped while the government was shuttered.
He said there’s no reason to go through the political wringer again in January, when the stopgap Congress passed late Wednesday expires.
“One of my favorite old Kentucky sayings is there’s no education in the second kick of a mule. The first kick of a mule was when we shut the government down in the mid 1990s and the second kick was over the last 16 days,” he said. “There is no education in the second kick of a mule. There will not be a government shutdown.
“I think we have fully now acquainted our new members with what a losing strategy that is,” he added.

President Barack Obama challenged the GOP to end political brinkmanship and said Republicans should “win an election” if they so badly wish to change his policies.
In his first extended remarks since the government reopened, Obama said that the public has grown “fed up” with its government and urged lawmakers to move past the conflict of the past few weeks.
“To all my friends in Congress, understand that how business is done in this town has to change,” he said.
“You don’t like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election,” The president said. “But don’t break it.”

A shouting stenographer was removed from the House floor as lawmakers voted on a deal to reopen the government and avoid a debt crisis.
The stenographer began shouting as the the House approved the number of votes needed to pass the bill. According to reporters, she was yelling about God and Freemasons:
