Strangers join for an awesome spontaneous jam session

Amazing-jam-session-Three-random-guys-sing-togetherDALLAS —What started out as a trip to a Texas grocery store has turned three strangers in the latest viral sensations.

According to social media posts, Jamie Maldonado of Dallas was headed to the grocery store when he took notice of a street performer in front of the store and started to record video of him.

What started as a routine performance turned special moments later when the performer was joined by a seemingly random passerby who added his silky vocals. Then things became extraordinary when a third man happens on the duo and starts rapping in synch with the music.

The mix of harmonies is almost too smooth to be believed as a random occurrence.

After some internet sleuthing, the identity of the guitarist was finally revealed as Jesse Rya.

Listen to their spontaneous jam.

But wait….Jimmy Kimmel picked them up and Trey Songz, Juicy J & Aloe Blacc joined in for an amazing jam session.

  2. Jesse Rya, Howard Mullins & Ron Lashley (“Three Random Guys”)

They didn’t know each other, but together, three musicians are now internet sensations after a bystander recorded their impromptu performance outside of a Kroger store in Irving.

The video now has millions of views on YouTube, and the three are making the rounds on late-night TV – they were recently featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Their organic, unrehearsed music took flight after singer-songwriter Jesse Rya established the beat.

Bystander Jamie Maldanado watched and decided it was worth recording on his phone.

“I had no expectations that these other two gentlemen were going to jump in,” said Maldanado.

Rya caught the attention of Howard Mullins, who sings church music.

“I had heard him before, but this time, something just made me join in with him,” said Mullins.

“It was like, I’d hear what he’s doing, so then I harmonize,” said Rya.

Unable to resist, local rapper Ron Lashley didn’t hesitate to join in.

“I stopped on the way to Kroger and started listening to him playing, and I was like, ‘Yeah man; yeah.’”

The trio now call themselves Three Random Guys, but they play it close to the vest when it comes to talk of the future.

First, they want to release a CD and then maybe go on tour.

They say they don’t know what the future holds, but they’re sure it was no accident they all happened to be in the same place at the same time.

“It worked out in a way that was just perfect, I guess you could say,” said Lashley.
