Dallas County, population 2.5 million, now officially stands for “monetary and substantial reparations” for black Americans’ suffering, after the County Commission summarily approved a resolution by its only black member that the white commissioners never bothered to read.

John Wiley Price’s Price’s resolution went beyond taking note of Juneteenth; it included a long list of injustices endured by blacks, from slavery to Jim Crow to predatory lending practices.
Now some of the white commissioners are claiming they’ve been HOODWINKED, REALLY?
Words fail me.
Can you believe this? They never bothered to read and now they’re the victim? GMAFB!
There was a time when Black folks were not ALLOWED to learn to read, because then they’d know exactly what ole massa and the white establishment were up to.
Now the white establishment feigns ignorance and clutches the PEARLS, because they WILLFULLY DID NOT READ.
A vote is a vote. It was unanimous, it was in writing, AND it was READ to them.
That’s it.
They DID vote to support reparations.
End of story.
