“I had to look away to not be a crybaby” – PBO on Malia telling him it was the last time he’d send her off for her first day of school
Seriously, shame on Candy Carson – Ben Carson’s wife, for letting that evil, self-loathing, hate-filled racist, Michelle Malkin, interview and use her to continue her denigrating racist attacks on the first black First Lady of the United States..
I’m sure Mrs Carson is thrilled to be showcased, but at what cost..?
To be dishonestly and manipulatively elevated and used by vicious racists with a hate agenda to demean a fellow black woman, is no achievement…
And especially when said black woman has been nothing but respectful and gracious to you and your husband – even warmly hugging your husband at the National Prayer breakfast even as he was acting dubious and carried away with right-wing ‘support’..
They are laughing at you Candy Carson, and for your sake, you better not step out of line or the same racists will come for you…
when did thid fuckery happen?
WHERE did you think she would go. She’s part of the coon show.
Sometimes it’s good to have much-touted people have a go at things just so we can see the truth about them and observe first-hand just how awful they really are, and just how much they suck…
The reality of these folks fall so short of their mythical and embellished versions…It’s amusing to watch the media hand-wringing when one of their much-touted favorite ones fall so short in their auditions/outings…
And when you remember just how these people were supposed to be the best of the best of performers, you can’t help but shake your head and be amused at just how utterly substandard and crappy they really are even with all their unearned accolades and grabbed positions at the top of several government institutions..
Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Chris Christie etc..
But then again one has to look at the painfully substandard and shallow people doing the touting…Chuck Todd, Joe Scarborough, Mark Halperin, Josh Barro, Steve Schmidt, Robert Costa et al…
And this list doesn’t even include the embarrassing and deranged crowd over at FOX ‘news’…

Palin Calls #BlackLivesMatter Protesters ‘Dogs’ at Anti-Iran Deal Rally
by Matt Wilstein | 3:03 pm, September 9th, 2015
…Palin began by thanking the crowd for coming out in opposition to the
deal, but then she thought of another group she wanted to thank.
“Oh, and you know, since our president won’t say it, since he still
hasn’t called off the dogs, we’ll say,” Palin said. “Police officers and
first responders all across this great land, we’ve got your back, we
salute you! Thank you, police officers!”

John Jay game official’s attorney addresses racial slur allegations
FOX San Antonio asked the umpire’s attorney if Watts made any racial slurs toward the Jay players and the attorney responded by saying, “I don’t think that happened, but when did that become an appropriate response to knock someone on the ground.” He also said there are ways to deal with situations where someone says something you do not like and “attempted murder isn’t one of them.”

Rupert Murdoch Is Buying National Geographic
After 127 years under the ownership of a non-profit, big changes are coming to National Geographic: The magazines, websites and other media assets are being shifted to a new company majority owned by Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox, with the non-profit National Geographic Society keeping a 27% stake in the new business.
National Geographic TV channels, which were already owned and operated by a joint-venture partnership between 21st Century Fox and the National Geographic Society, will also be shifted to the new venture.
21st Century Fox is paying $725 million to the National Geographic Society for the deal, meaning the non-profit will be sitting on an endowment of almost $1 billion once the transaction is completed.
In return, the National Geographic Society will hand over the bulk of its assets to a new joint-venture company, National Geographic Partners, that will be 73% owned by 21st Century Fox. Those assets, according to a statement, include “National Geographic magazines; National Geographic Studios; related digital and social media platforms; books; maps; children’s media; and ancillary activities, including travel, location-based entertainment, archival sales, catalog, licensing and ecommerce businesses.”…

Nice kitchen.
But to hear the racists, they lived in primitive conditions and Mrs Obama fetched and cooked with firewood in the backyard before they moved into the White House..

Please Proceed, National Review
by BooMan

I cannot encourage the National Review enough to continue to compare Pope Francis to Benito Mussolini and Juan Perón. It would make me ecstatic if that magazine would finally drop the pretense that they are the more-Catholic-than-thou moral arbiter of American politics and just make open war on the Holy See.
They really did think that the papacy would be controlled by conservatives forever, although the demographic changes in the makeup of Catholicism pretty much guaranteed that they would lose their grip sooner rather than later. Most of the growth in the Church is below the equator and there aren’t too many people below the equator who look at the world like white European missionaries and colonialists.
Frankly, the conservative Catholics at the notoriously racist National Revlew are just lucky that the cardinals selected a white pope. I cannot even imagine how much worse their sense of dislocation and loss would be if the pope was from Zimbabwe.
Still, most Catholics respect the hierarchical structure of the Church and won’t openly criticize Pope Francis. They have the good sense not to compare him to fascist dictators.
Because everyone knows that only fascists ever criticize the excesses of capitalism or believe in climate change.

Straight up fucking white male egos are BURNT.
Make America White again. Sorry dudes, it’s never been right or white.
Ametia, don’t leave out the women – aka the PUMAs and other modern day suffragist incarnations including those formed in the image of Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
Women’s suffrage advocate Elizabeth Cady who with the Civil War over, had to decide whether to support the 14th and 15th amendments to the Constitution, which
enabled black men to vote — at a time when white women such as herself
still did not have that right.
Stanton decided to oppose the amendments saying: “As the celestial gate to civil
rights is slowly moving on its hinges, it becomes a serious question whether
we had better stand aside and see Sambo walk into the kingdom first.”
Heck, these men and women even resent, dismiss and begrudge the first black FLOTUS her place right next to her husband as his whip-smart, highly-educated and supremely capable and effective wife and partner..
the way he has come back sorta makes me smile…cause you know his wife took EVERYTHING
Stacey E. Singleton @staceyNYCDC
Watching GMA. Michael Strahan has a line of suits now. This dude’s come up is so strong. Somewhere Tiki Barber is still crying. LOL
I really can’t support or root for Michael Strahan…He’s rubbish as is she…
He cheated on his first wife and mother of his first two kids, with this woman who subsequently became his second wife – and they both deserve nothing but Karma’s kick in the you know what.
“…The Michael Strahan divorce trial turned into an episode of America’s Sleaziest Home Videos yesterday as it was revealed that the Giants star made a $30,000 payoff to his wife shortly after she caught him secretly videotaping her sister inside their home.
Jean Strahan said in court papers that the taping occurred while sister Denise was undressing..
“I found, in our house, video equipment . . . and I learned he was taping my sister,” she said under questioning by her lawyer Ellen Marshall in Newark Family Court. “I moved out when I found the equipment.”
She added that a $30,000 deposit related to the taping was made by Strahan into a bank account that the North Dakota native kept in her home state.
Before she could expand on the subject of the payoff, Michael Strahan’s lawyer, Robert Penza, objected, and Judge James Convery cut Jean off from talking about it further.
But the NFL star’s wife had earlier claimed in court papers that the gap-toothed grid great placed the video camera in a clock radio inside a room where her younger sister was staying.
In the blockbuster divorce trial, Jean Strahan says a prenup entitles her to $14 million from the father of her twin girls, but the Giant says he only owes her $7 million.
The day started with Michael Strahan’s spending habits being aired – including a forensic accountant admitting he paid $4,007 to a prominent plastic surgeon for work on him.
He also revealed secret high-end trips he took with various women.
One trip was a getaway to Phoenix, Ariz. – which he originally claimed to be for business – but which he later admitted was for “pleasure.”
Jean Strahan then took the stand and told the court the ugly history of their marriage – which started from the time they first met at a book signing in 1996.
She said that she only found out he was married after he talked her into co-signing with him to buy a new Mercedes – and an insurance company rep called to tell her he had a wife.
“I certainly did [confront him], it wasn’t a good conversation” she said.
Much of the disagreement in the couple’s divorce comes from a provision in their prenup that says Strahan must put aside 20 percent of his earnings each year for his wife in lieu of alimony.
He said he never did it because she didn’t ask for it. But yesterday, she said that she asked for the money several times, usually around the time the football season started.
While embarrassingly bringing up the fact he once got a sperm test when she couldn’t get pregnant, Jean also said her husband hounded her throughout their marriage in an effort to change the prenup…”

Is Chipotle evil? This ad campaign says absolutely
This morning, a new, controversial ad campaign hit the press. New Yorkers, en route to work, were likely the first to see it, because its inaugural imprint was in the New York Post, in the form of a full-page advertisement. And it isn’t at all kind to Chipotle.
The ad, which features a flexing, overweight male, looking directly into the camera, smiling almost snidely, clearly mocks the notion that eating at Chipotle is a healthy life choice. “Eat two ‘all natural’ Chipotle burritos a week and you could gain 40 pounds in a year,” the ad says, oozing with sarcasm. At the very top, large block letters read ” ‘Chipotle’ Healthy,” in large block letters. This is what it looks like.

LOL at Hillary…
That was not a ‘Policy’ speech…That was a brazen attempt at staking claim and taking credit for John Kerry’s hard work –
An ‘I take credit for this Iran thingy if it’s a huge positive, but denounce it and distance myself from it, if it turns out not to be’ speech…
Many thanks to John Podesta and Jennifer Palmieri who gleaned as much as they could for Hillary’s 2016 presidential run, as they mostly pretended to work for the President..
In the end, even surrounded with, pampered, pandered to, potty-trained and catered to by so many supposedly ‘seasoned’ political players and ‘advisors’, we still have an unimpressive and frankly, mediocre campaign and candidate on her umpteenth re-boot of what was supposed to be a seamless campaign powered by the best in the industry…and in the face of no real opposition to a candidate who was supposed to be the ‘most qualified ever in history’…

Scott Walker’s new mission: Convincing voters he is still viable
By Jenna Johnson September 8 at 6:57 PM
ROCHESTER, N.H. — As Scott Walker traveled through New Hampshire’s 10 counties this weekend on a rented Harley-Davidson Road King, the 2016 presidential candidate kept getting questions like these: Are you worried? Are you going to be okay? What about Donald Trump?
Walker has plummeted in early polls, falling from being one of the front-runners to registering as yet another Republican hopeful with single-digit support far behind Trump. His decline has been especially pronounced here in New Hampshire, home to the first-in-the-nation primary, where his polling averages resemble a ski slope — dropping from a 20 percent peak in April to just 5 percent now.
During his two-day tour here pegged to Labor Day, Walker sought to show off his average-guy side — wearing a T-shirt and jeans while riding a motorcycle — and to tout his success in weakening unions in Wisconsin, where he is governor.
But he instead spent a good chunk of the weekend addressing his viability as a candidate. He talked about former front-runners who never became president. He compared competing in the presidential race to running a half-mile track event in high school, sticking with the pack until the finish line is close. He also likened his strategy to skeet shooting, aiming the gun at the spot in the sky where the clay pigeon is headed, not where it already is. And he said the national media has been focused on the wrong issues, glorifying the wrong candidates and twisting his words.

Lawrence Lessig to campaign on sole issue of campaign finance reform

Walker’s new posture: ‘There is no such thing as a hypothetical’
09/09/15 08:40 AM
By Steve Benen
Last week, Politico described Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) as “the biggest loser of the summer.” The piece quoted an unnamed Iowa Republican saying the GOP presidential candidate “can’t seem to find his way on any given issue with a handheld GPS.”
The Iowan added, “He’s been on all three sides of every two-sided issue. For the last two months hasn’t made a single policy pronouncement that he or his staff hasn’t had to clarify or clear up within two hours…. ‘Unintimidated’ has given way to ‘uninformed’ and ‘unprepared.’”
Another Iowa Republican said, “Not since, well, Tim Pawlenty has a candidate so hyped or seemingly invincible had their bubble burst in this way.”
The Washington Post reports today that Walker maintains an aggressive campaign schedule, but he’s investing quite a bit of time “convincing voters he is still viable” as a national candidate.
Staying constant, however, has been one of his biggest challenges. On key issues of the day – from calls to end birthright citizenship to the jailing of a Kentucky county official who refused to issue same-sex marriage licenses – Walker has struggled more than other candidates to clearly explain where he stands.
On several issues, he has attempted to not take a side – including when asked this week what he would do to directly address the crisis facing Europe as hundreds of thousands of refugees from Syria and other war-torn countries search for a safe place to live.
Talking to reporters yesterday in New Hampshire, the Republican governor said, “I’m not president today, and I can’t be president today. Everybody wants to talk about hypotheticals; there is no such thing as a hypothetical.”
Especially this year, campaign observers have grown accustomed to quite a bit of gibberish from White House hopefuls, but Walker insisting that there’s “no such thing as a hypothetical” might be one of the most bizarre claims of the campaign.
It rivals Walker’s claim last week that he’s not a “career politician,” despite the fact that the Wisconsin Republican has spent literally most of his life – including 22 of the last 22 years – seeking and holding elected office.
