I forgot the to watch this debate in real time last night so I DVR’d the replay. I am so not excited after reading this thread, but it sounds as though it turned out the way we expected. I wonder what the viewing stats are, how many people watched.

    • Liza says:

Just finished watching the debate. It wasn’t as bad as I expected, but I can’t say that I learned anything or was inspired by anything said. It was all so general, really geared toward people who only pay minimal attention to what is going on in the world.

  2. Ametia says:

    This, ALSO TOO!

  3. Ametia says:

Jim Webb was a complete & utter DIS-AS-TER.

WHINING & COMPLAINING about not given equal time, while he had the floor time to discuss his”ppor working whites’ drone!

    • Liza says:

JW has absolutely nothing going for him as a presidential candidate, he does not even come across as likable. I can’t figure out why he is running.

  4. Ametia says:

Steve, “brought-to -America-Sno’ Ho -Palin” Schmitt thought Hillary did great! SMGDH

  5. Ametia says:

After we have finished calling out the fuckery of this sham of a debate, please check out FLOTUS thread. Her speach to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women is up!

  6. Ametia says:

Salon’s Joan Walsh, also too, lapping up Hillary. Karen Finney’s lurking, and will be all over our tvs soon. BANK IT.

  7. Ametia says:

And who do the cable networks *looking@YOUMSNBC have on standby? John Podesta, etc,all the old CLINTONISTAS, you too, Ms. Greenspan.

  8. Ametia says:

This was the CROWN HILLARY right now show. UUUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. eliihass says:

    So underwhelming. What a farce!

Compare this to the 2008 debates. Those were high quality debates and candidates..This was the Hillary show with the others acting to make her look better – just as the DNC set it up to be –

  10. eliihass says:

Not impressed. Not with the questions. Not with the candidates. Not with the answers. Not much bravery or truth-telling going on. Everyone even Bernie, playing footsie with Hillary so afraid to tell the truth or challenge her so-called stewardship that never really amounted to much over decades. She’s standing there absorbing the strong answers of the other candidates for future appropriation.

Conveniently name-dropping President Obama and riding his coattails and aligning yourself with his successes after undermining him – and only because your pollsters tell you that the Obama-coalition are mad and won’t ride with you, is so craven and disgustingly manipulative.

I wouldn’t vote Hillary for dog-walker. She’s so dishonest and will say and do anything to get this presidency just because of the self-serving and shallow reason of wanting to be the first woman.

If we are to go with Arkansas where she and her husband reigned supreme and had the chance to make a real difference over several years but didn’t, she’s completely undeserving. Enough with promoting this woman for all the wrong reasons – and then having her tell us that she actually earned these undeserved promotions that’s been handed to her at every turn – including Senator, Sec. of State. Please no giving Hillary the presidency. We deserve so much better, and this is not the time for bluster and ruling by poll-testing and focus-groups – or the group-think of pay-to-play hangers-on who for all their boastings, have been so unimpressive and scattered and painfully mediocre every time they’ve had to prove themselves even in the most mundane of situations.

P.S, I do appreciate and respect Chafee and Bernie’s scandal-free personal and professional lives. O’Malley would do better if speaking his voice didn’t betray him…

Don’t even get me started on Jim Webb. Ugh.

    • Ametia says:

      TELL THE TRUTH.

If VP Biden was on that debate stage, she would not have ridden PBO’s coattails, she’d have been trhowing darts at Biden, and do’t even think for one minute that the darts would be aiming DIRECTLY at President Obama.

She yelled and shouted when challenged, almost DARING the other candidates to come for her.

      • eliihass says:

That was why Podesta was planted in the White House to steal and give her..

And that was why the media was saturated with warnings not to the other candidates not to go hard on Hillary.

You could tell that O’Malley and Bernie were itching to remind everyone that Glass-Steagall was destroyed by her husband – and that she has been in the tank for Wall Street for years. But they passed.

      • Ametia says:

Hubby said the same thing. I would NEVER vote for Hillary CLINTON. NEVER

  11. Ametia says:

Oh just go to bed already, ‘Jim Crow ‘.Jim Webb!

  12. I’m not voting for any candidate just because they’re male or female. I’m voting for the best candidate..period. #DemDebate

    • eliihass says:

Then your candidate was not on that stage tonight SG…

      • Ametia says:

But the candidates certainly were rehearsed, “STAGED” tonight. Pathetic

        • eliihass says:

After 2008, we know the difference…And this was a total sham tonight..

These were all small fish playing tonight. If they had serious, seasoned, sophisticated players like the V.P, Deval Patrick on that stage, this debate would have gone much differently..
Even against these small players, she was still unimpressive and hollow ..

Do you remember how we all were glued to the Dem. primary debates in 2008? We had quality candidates – an embarrassment of riches – Then Senator Obama was brilliant and serious, unique and an outsider…And they were all trying to keep up with him..

  13. Ametia says:

Anderson Cooper got BERNED by Sanders and nem on the Clinton email question. Lil PUNK AZZ SHIT STIRRER.

  14. Ametia says:

Hillary said she’s an OUTSIDER, because she’s a woman, running for POTUS.

  15. Ametia says:

    VP Biden, PLEASE!

    • eliihass says:

He would have seriously elevated the conversation and nipped this attempt by Hillary to claim every success of President Obama’s as devised and executed and implemented together with him…

  16. Ametia says:

Bernine Sanders: “”The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails,”

    BWA HA HA HA

  17. Ametia says:

    IMMIGRANTS get ObamaCARE, Hillary?

  18. Ametia says:

Wonder how Hillary would react to PBO, if VP Biden was on that stage.

    She’d throw a gazillion darts, I’m sure.

  19. WillCNNask

Hillary about the money she is taking from private prisons?

  20. Ametia says:

Jim Webb complaining about not beng given equal time, while he’s given the time to speak.

    SMGDH WHINER!

  21. SandraBland’s death makes it into the #DemDebate.

  22. I’m tired of the debate already.

  23. eliihass says:

So much to say but, most important to stress that the offer of Sec. of State was more or a preemptive measure to stem the anticipated vindictiveness and destruction of the Democratic Party by a well-known callous sore loser – let’s be clear. If at anytime the President really trusted and valued this person, he would have made her V.P.

  24. Ametia says:

she is raising her voice to show the guys her junk is bigger! LOL

  25. Why is Hillary raising her voice?

  26. Hillary claiming she has been consistent. Yeah, she has consistently changed her positions.

  27. Ametia says:

Chaffe: “You’re looking at a block of ‘GRANITE'” No shit Sherlock!

  28. Ametia says:

You all are making a GREAT MISTAKE, if you turn your backs on President Obama’s PROGRESSIVE accomplishments.

  29. Ametia says:

Anderson, you don’t cut it either, with these stupid questions.

  30. Ametia says:

These folks on the debate stage could never hold a CANDLE TO our current POTUS.

  31. Ametia says:

Bring the country together agian? You and your husband Bubba helped to DESTROY it.

  32. Ametia says:

    Hillary, SO WELL-REHEARSED.

  33. Ametia says:
