    Scaring me with another Republican presidency won’t do it. Black folks have been in shit for good and for bad in this nation. One more bloviating moron in the White House won’t make much of a difference. I won’t like it, none of us will, but threatening us for our vote doesn’t work.

    Because this cannot be repeated enough. Some of us in the POU Fam are so old we’re only 4-5 generations removed from slaves. After graduating high school in 1956 my mother had to move to NYC to get work as a secretary because Black women in South Jersey were only hired as cleaners or domestics. I went to college during Reagan when my financial aid was cut all the way down to a few hundred dollars and my diet was Rice-a-Roni and store brand cold cereal with powdered milk for the better part of 3 years.

    You think I’m scared of Donald Trump? GTFOOH. You gotta come better than that.

      You should let her know I’m not a ‘he’ – I come with ample female parts and have more insight in my pinky than she’ll ever know..

      And in spite of her twitter tantrum..I’m still not voting for Hillary – and I’m taking with me as many people as have the good sense to see through her, her husband and their crowd of enablers opportunistic, condescending and self-serving crap..

    The Governor of Delaware who was holding out for the VP, has now announced that he’ll be supporting Ms Ann.

    Shocked.

    LOL.

    But, the President of the Fire Fighters Association who was all set to immediately endorse the V.P, now says they’ll wait until after the primaries to endorse a candidate.

    Bill and Hillary are the Democratic Party royalty. Now we know their priorities. Hillary wanted this, so the nation be damned. The only way she can get elected is by being the lesser of two evils in November, 2016. And there’s no guarantee of that.

      And that is precisely why I won’t be playing along…I refuse to indulge this madness – This mindset that not only corrupts and undermines our party and the democratic process by strong-arming, knee-capping and elbowing out – but ends up blocking other viable candidates – and drowning out the voices of a large swath of Democrats – just to clear the field to crown one woman..

      I can’t say this enough, we allow this and we not only shortchange and do our party an immense disservice in the long-term, but we encourage this sort or rubbish to continue unabated..

      They play their dirty games and turn around and tell us too bad she’s it, now get on board or else..supreme court, the oh so scary republicans …and any other number of worn-out scare tactics they wield to hold us helplessly hostage after blatantly corrupting and skewing the nomination process to get the result they want…

      If they are allowed to keep getting away with this corrupt rubbish without consequences, we stand no chance of ever having a true democratic primary process that is fair and open and one in which the true superior candidate like we had in 2008, emerges after truly earning the votes –

      If my seeing friend perchance misread the spiritual messages – which I doubt, and Hillary gets the tiara to go on to compete in the general, there ought to be an asterisk by her name denoting that she did not earn it fair and square..

      I believe that is exactly where we are headed. The first major obstacle that keeps many people from running for office is the money, the fundraising, and that is just getting worse. The presidential primaries and general elections are already prohibitive in cost, so the field is already very narrow. And, these days, corporations get to buy candidates.

      But this is just unconscionable in the year 2015 that what is supposed to be the “democratic” party picks the candidate and rams her down our throats.

      Even if I could possibly get to the idea of her being President, Her Surrogates – fuckem ALL. I could start with Carville, Lanny Davis, Blumenthal, De Rothschild, Rendell, etc. but this includes some CBC. They work my nerves.
