Memo to Clintons, Media et.al. Exploitation of Black Folks| Don’t Come for Us, Unless WE Send for YOU!

Hillary Clinton and her campaign are brazen and EXPLOITING the grief and SOULS of Black folks. And we for one, will not tolerate this.

Watching this video made me SICK to my stomach.

Liza:

Ms. Tamron et al really should be talking about how Bernie Sanders came from nowhere with very little name recognition outside of Vermont and the northeast perhaps, and is giving the old war horse a run for her money.

This proves beyond all doubt that the Democratic base wanted a choice, a contest, a race, a competition, an alternative to the hand picked, party leadership favorite. Dammit, this ain’t North Korea, it’s America.

But I’ve got to say, what the Clintons are doing right now to court the black vote, their firewall, is making me sick. And those who go along with this are sell outs, and they sell out cheap, and I have no respect for them. Every last one of them needs to go back to Government 101 class and give some serious thought to what a democracy is supposed to be. And those who act in any way to make this country less democratic are diminishing the contribution and sacrifice of every American who believed in a free nation with equality and justice for all. They might think they are doing nothing wrong, that it is no big deal, but it is. Their nonsense adds up, and the sum of it hurts the nation.

Hillary Clinton is not a good candidate. Period. And she should not be the successor of President Barack Obama. Too much has been achieved to risk it on her.

End of rant.

A good a time as any to revisit pertinent bits in this article:

“…However, the enthusiasm for Clinton is definitely not there. There is a real distrust, a lack of excitement and a sneaking suspicion that the woman who showed herself on Jan. 7, 2008, is still there, right beneath the smiles, laughs and convenient code-switching.

But when it’s all said and done, she will have to use every accent, every policy, every photo op and every black friend in her network to dredge up even a percentage of the African-American enthusiasm that she once took for granted before that fateful date…”

      And this…

Blacks have always been for her and Bill, useful idiots…her firewall – even against then Senator Obama..

“…WASHINGTON (CNN) — Sen. Hillary Clinton’s lead over Sen. Barack Obama, her chief rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, is growing among African-American voters who are registered Democrats, and particularly among black women, a poll said Wednesday.

Sen. Hillary Clinton is the top choice of African-American Democrats, a new poll suggests.

Among black registered Democrats overall, Clinton had a 57 percent to 33 percent lead over Obama.

That’s up from 53 percent for Clinton and 36 percent for Obama in a poll carried out in April.

In response to poll results showing him trailing Clinton, Obama has noted that Clinton has been a major figure in national politics for 15 years, versus just three for Obama.

“The ‘sistah’ vote is paying off handsomely for Hillary Clinton,” said Democratic political strategist Donna Brazile. “It’s not only getting her the women’s vote. It’s also getting her the black vote.”

Watching this charade one would think that these kids were killed 2 months ago…

For these mothers to allow themselves to be so politically exploited and to be used in this most crass way is very sad..

They should have stayed neutral and asked the candidates to prove their commitment in deed… and not in return for endorsements…

That always ubiquitous ‘extraction of concessions’ for the Clintons remains the only way to advance themselves politically..

Even when they’re extracting said concessions from grieving mothers of slain kids…

Exactly. I fear they will learn the hard way.

    Thank you Liza!

And they wonder why our politics is the pits and our democracy keeps failing us, and why folks get jaded and tune out..this is why..

You tell us just a few short years ago why we shouldn’t be voting for this grasping woman who’s no damn good – and show us why…and then turn around and tell us now that she’s the best thing since sliced bread..And after we’ve seen with our own eyes so much evidence to the contrary…

    No.

    • Ametia says:

      LOL Speak on it, eliihaas!

    • Liza says:

For the Democratic party leaders to effectively choose Hillary Clinton as the Democratic candidate is another form of disenfranchisement as far as I’m concerned. It is impossible at this time for anyone other than a Democrat or Republican to become president. The party is therefore obligated to provide a fair race, to allow the people to choose the candidate, IMO.

    Questions for Tamron & nem:

Didn’t Senator Barack Obama COME OUT OF as they put it “NOWHERE” to take Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Machine to the WOODSHED?

Why shouldn’t Bernie Sanders or anyone else challenge Clinton?

Why should we make it easy for Hillary or any other candidate?

  7. Ametia says:

The one statement that I will ALWAYS treasure from PBO is this: (paraphrasing here)

I have enough faith in the American people to make decisions that are right for them.

That includes decisions that are not in our best interest. So we get to be informed and make decisions. The trouble is, sometimes we have to live with the consequences of others foolish choices. another caveat is that we need to take responsibility for our choices, especially when we act on them.

    Rant on, Liza.
