And here’s Bill Clinton campaigning for McCain …and being all supportive of Sarah Palin…The same Palin they now conveniently insist is bad for the country so that Hillary can be seen as the good seed..

The word narcissism is thrown around so much these days as an insult and an indictment from enemies, so much so, it’s lost much of it’s meaning…

But if there ever was one of those it described well, it would be him..

    • Negroes, GOT DAMN!

      • Ametia says:

Wow Here we are two days and it’s all about Bill Clinton meanwhile Hillary loses WY

The Clintons are WASHED up LOSERS!

      • Liza says:

Yeah, I saw some poll yesterday (can’t remember who the pollster is) but black Democratic voters in California support Hillary over Bernie by some ridiculously high margin.

I’m getting to that point where I have to say that black folks supporting either of the Clintons is one of life’s mysteries that I’m not going to understand. I don’t accept the argument that “Bernie is not a Democrat.” He is running as a Democrat with the full blessing of the Democratic party.

        • I don’t get it either. They saw what she did in the 2008 primary. I’m not buying they’re supporting her to keep Trump out of White House either. I just hope the FBI indicts her.

      • eliihass says:

Part of the problem is that for long, the media has been complicit in blacking out Bernie…Except of course like recently when they’ve wanted to play up what they believe to be negative attention, with that bogus New York Daily News tabloid trash smear – or the bogus effort to tar Bernie with the faux sexism label for responding to Hillary about who’s qualified…

A lot of folks who haven’t been – or aren’t paying attention, really don’t know who Bernie is…And it allows for a lot of misinformation – and for Clinton-packaged smears designed to discredit him, to be easily believed and gobbled up by folks…The villain is cast as the good guy, while the good guy is the villain in the Clintons’ version of things…Hillary casting herself as besties with, and protector of President Obama’s legacy…and the lies of Bernie as hater of the historic President…

        Remember this cartoon…?

    A refresher…

    Nothing’s changed fam…Nothing…

When people show you who they are – especially when they’ve shown you again and again…believe them…

Even when the Clintons say the most important goal is to put a Democrat in the White House, all they ever really mean is …only as long as that Democrat is Hillary or Bill…

Otherwise, they go all out effusively praising and hailing John McCain over their fellow Democrat…as unquestionably qualified and the more patriotic….and like them, with ‘a lifetime’ of ‘accomplishments’..

  4. Victims of the Holocaust are told..NEVER FORGET
Victims of 9/11 are told…NEVER FORGET
Victims of Slavery/White Supremacy are told…FORGET..MOVE ON

Stop asking black people to forget the past. Would you ask the Jews to forget the past? To forget the past is to deny it happened. This is how history is erased.
STOP TELLING US TO MOVE ON. STOP IT!

  5. eliihass says:

And by the way, when was the last time you heard anything about the ‘incidents’ exploited to gin up votes for Hillary…? Flint..? Sandra Bland..?

The Democrats have to take notice that Sanders has won the last 8 of 9 states. They can’t deny it no matter how hard they try.

    • Liza says:

Well, I think a lot of folks have taken notice, but the Democratic leadership doesn’t seem to want to talk about it. But I suspect Hillary and them are a bit worried.

Disappointing to see Blk folks defending Bill Clinton’s racist, condescending, white patriarchal outburst towards #BLM activists in Philly.

    • Liza says:

Disappointing is not the word I’d use. More like incomprehensible, astonishing, shocking, etc…

All this discussion on the 1994 crime bill is making it CRYSTAL clear how much better not only a President, that Obama is moreso than Clinton….but a helluva better POLITICIAN. Reading about the originally written bill, how it was negotiated into what it became – placating damn republicans by stripping the social program funding and preventative measures out – all this WITH a Dem majority in the house and senate at the time and they couldn’t get the votes necessary to include all that important funding, but instead let Newt Gingrich win?

Every major bill by President Obama, we consistently find out afterwards how much WE WON. So much more than we thought. He’s so good!

  11. Bill Clinton Thought He Was Talking to Black Lives Matter Activists in Philly. He Wasn’t.

When Erica Mines and Rufus Farmer walked into a small gymnasium in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia on Thursday, they weren’t expecting to have a direct confrontation with former president Bill Clinton, who was there to stump for his wife, Hillary Clinton, ahead of Pennsylvania’s democratic primary on April 26.

“We did not intend to be confrontational in any manner,” Mines said in a phone interview with Mic on Friday. “We just wanted to exercise our right to freedom of expression.”

“We were not there to say black lives matter, just there to show discontent with Hillary Clinton because she’s profited off of the black vote and now she’s going after mothers who’ve lost their children due to unjust policing,” she said. “It’s almost a contradiction. You can’t be against unjust policing and be in favor of the death penalty; she has to address those issues, too.”

It was one of the most contentious moments of this primary season, one that could haunt the Democratic frontrunner, particularly with younger black voters. Bill Clinton defended the 1994 crime bill and his continuation of the war on drugs in a prolonged, off-script speech that’s garnered national headlines and become a trending topic on Twitter. Throughout the speech, Clinton made direct references to the refrain “black lives matter,” chastising critics like Mines and Farmer, who were speaking out against the 1994 crime bill.

“You are defending the people who killed the lives you say matter,” Bill Clinton said. “Tell the truth. You are defending the people who caused young people to go out and take guns.”

But neither Mines, 38, nor Farmer, 33, are formal or informal members of Black Lives Matter, the national network known for its protesting of police violence. Lifelong residents of Philadelphia, both Mines and Farmer are organizers with the Philly Coalition for REAL Justice.

“We support the movement, but we’re not part of the organization,” said Mines, who added that she wasn’t surprised at all by Clinton’s off-color remarks. “How many white folks do we find ourselves encountering each and every day who try to explain black folks their disparities — especially when they helped create those disparities?”

  12. Unfucking believable. I see black people retweeting folks who agreed with Bill Clinton and believes he has nothing to apologize for. Is the end near or what? Let me off this planet!

    • Liza says:

I think you just identified why I am so upset about this election. The Clintons, both of them, fill me with hopelessness. It’s a terrible feeling.

    • Liza says:

Now we’re going to debate his intentions? Does it matter? What he said is a hell of lot more important than why he said it. And, the fact that what he said is in perfect alignment with his history, that he is consistent.

  13. Liza says:

Y’all have already been saying this, but this is it, in a nutshell as they say. Now is the time to lash out at blacks because the loyal southern blacks have voted. Now let’s get those white folks who think all black children are thugs in the making. Of course, when elected, neither of these demographic groups will benefit one single thing from a Hillary presidency.

    Lord, throw me a line…

Bill Clinton's calculation: Lashing out at blacks won't lose southern votes HRC already has; but it could mobilize remaining white voters.— Dante Boykin (@DanteB4u) April 9, 2016

    • Liza says:

They need to send Bill away on a little vacation somewhere. Maybe one of those little islands way out in the Pacific.

I think he’s alienating voters and that helps Bernie, but I’d rather not go through this.

  14. I thought I couldn’t despise Bill Clinton more but I do. I don’t even want to see his old nasty filthy face on my tv.
