Amina was rescued Tuesday [May 17] in the Sambisa forest close to Nigeria-Cameroon border by a member of Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF), operating with Military to wage war against Boko Haram terrorists.

The rescued girl has reportedly confirmed that over 200 abducted Chibok schoolgirls were still being held by terrorists in Sambisa forest, while 6 have since been dead.

While I’m so happy to hear about Amina’s return home, It’s maddening to watch how the Nigerian government leadership is parading her in front of the camera.

Not to mention, if she has a four month old baby, while held captive, she most likely was RAPED, because that is exactly what it was by these savages, and beared this child.

She should be given safe sanctuary. And not to mnetion that she’s got a long road to healing from this traumatic adduction, if she can.

    • Can you imagine having a baby under horrific conditions, no pain medication, unsanitary and unsafe conditions etc? It’s too much.

Not ‘most likely’ Ametia…kid was stolen from her school by terrorists and is found many months later with a 4 month old baby…

      Kid was raped..

Look at that child’s eyes and you know she’s been through hell and back…

She needs to be hugged and lavished with love, attention and helped to heal…but everyone is acting as if they are at some wonderful event and came to celebrate the birth and presentation of a long awaited baby – with all the focus on the baby instead of on the the older baby who was forced to grow up too quickly and in the most violent and despicable of ways…by the most barbaric of creatures…

      • I can’t even imagine the terror, rapes, death and destruction. It’s too painful to think about.

        • eliihass says:

          I can’t stop looking at that little girl’s eyes…

The evil she’s seen and experienced will haunt her for the rest of her life..

The more I look at these photos, the angrier I get…

This child needs all the psychological help available…

They shouldn’t have done this photo-op…at least not until this kid has had a chance at some real healing…

          This is wrong…

      • Ametia says:

The question is WHO WILL ADVOCATE for AMINA? Love her? Hold her? Assure her that she is not to blame for been brutalized To hell with the president.

Chuck it up to culture differences, but I don’t know how I feel about so prematurely parading around this young girl who’s been through so much…and with her baby too..

They should have let this settle first…give it time…let this young child have her privacy while she processes things in her new-found freedom and out of captivity…

This poor kid is not only dealing with such horrifyingly heavy trauma from such a harrowing ordeal…but also – at such a young age – dealing with what must be a psychologically muddled up state of birthing and loving and raising a baby that has been fathered by terrorists who defiled her…

This young child has been violated in so many ways…she needs to be protected first and foremost, and not used by her government to make and score political points..

  3. Great news! Thank you God for bringing Amina Ali home to her family. I’m so sorry for the horror she went through. May God’s goodness and mercy be with her as she moves forward.
