By this time next year, many of the same players in this election – including media folks and political opportunists aka super delegates, surrogates, strategists, operatives, campaign staffers and confidants, high price donors, bundlers etc. will all be arrogantly hawking books, churning out columns, giving tell-all interviews to boast of how they conned and duped the masses yet again.

They’ll amusingly regale us with tales of how the concept of folks as firewalls was devised and executed…how they cast Hillary as upright savior and inseparable and fiercely loyal besties with the very same President she and her husband and their buddies spent 8 years trying to undermine and hoping to destroy – and still remain contemptuous of – even more so because even now they still forced to have to rely on him and his coalition to get Hillary elected…How they turned Bernie Sanders into the boogeyman instead…

They’ll also gleefully boast of how they came up with the idea of #NeverTrump and the concept of how the man they freely and eagerly socialized with, snag his praises and called gracious ad generous when it suited their purposes, suddenly became their ‘scary’ foil and a convenient distraction …and all while they sniggered at folks’ stupid gullibility – as they continued to con on multiple fronts…

We really can’t feign horror, outrage and tsk, tsk, tsk to death over Trump’s supposed misogyny and racism, while glossing over and even yawning and completely ignoring and absolving Bill of his many perversions and indiscretions…gloss over and even revise and completely dismiss glaring, tangible and destructive examples of both Clintons’ brazen acts of racism that have done actual damage to black folks…Damage and acts that we’re now supposed to completely ignore, and focus instead on Trump’s glib verbal spews – which by the way, many of these same folks had absolutely no problem with for so long…until it of course suddenly became a way to gin up support for Hillary…never mind that Trump who was always Trump …was always a dear friend, golf bud and benefactor – and Ivanka and Chelsea, remain such great sister-friends…

The Clintons have always been enabled and provided cover in their racism, by the very same greedy, self-serving and corrupt black folks who are and have only ever been about what’s in it for themselves, their spouses and offspring personally…and the Clintons continue to cultivate and exploit and surround themselves seasonally, with these worst examples of self-serving, greedy and slimy black folk who will turn a blind eye to crimes against black folk, as long as they get paid – are appointed to corporate boards, hang and play golf with Bill – get a couple of dollars to run some hustle to further con black folks on behalf of the Clintons…and can be considered ‘long time confidant and close friend’ of the Clintons. As long as they get their financial reward and a mention as ‘proud insider’ every time the Clinton stories are told – touting their ‘loyalty and service’ to the Clintons…and only for the most unseemly, dubious and really base stuff – swooping in to play interference in the messy scandals and mess after mess the Clintons never seem to be able to stop making…Vernon Jordan, Maggie Williams, Cheryl Mills…These are not folks who care about you …nor are they looking to advance the cause of poor black folks…They’re in it for themselves …and as long as they got theirs, these particular black folk never gave two sh*ts about other black folks – and still don’t…

Too often they hope that party loyalty will force our tolerance and/or acceptance for, and of the bad behavior of these politicians. And our elected officials continue to commit and get away with some really despicable and heinous stuff…But we are supposed to turn a blind eye, excuse it all – and ‘focus on defeating the other party and their supposedly even worse candidate…’
Because no matter how despicable and dishonorable our party’s establishment hand-picked and primed for coronation candidates really are, we are told the other candidate is as bad or worse…

They are all just slimy, corrupt and disingenuous…and I’m quite done with being manipulated and force-fed rubbish…especially when it has little to do with the work of lifting up all folks and doing better for the least of us – who they ignore until it’s election time and then they suddenly remember they need them – but only momentarily to be exploited for votes and as firewalls to guarantee their advancement to their next political gig…

      Argh..Sorry for the many typos..

..because even now, they’re still forced to have to rely on him and his coalition …

I was just another reporter sent to cover radicalization in Minneapolis. Then 2 local Somalis took me on a tour
    May 22, 2016

It wasn’t hard to see who the outsiders in the courtroom seemed to be. All the jurors were white, the prosecutors white, the FBI agents white. Most of the reporters were white, including me.

    Mohamed … Abdihamid … Farah.
    Adbirahman … Yasin… Daud.
    Guled … Ali… Omar.

U.S. District Judge Michael J. Davis struggled as he announced the three Somali American defendants’ full names, pronouncing them phonetically from a criminal indictment as if he were a student of a new language.

Last week, opening arguments began in downtown Minneapolis in the trial of three local young men charged with plotting to travel to Syria and fight for the Islamic State, and I felt as if I was missing the full picture.

These weren’t foreigners, strangers, outsiders. These were hometown kids who went to local schools, now young men in their early 20s.

AFL-CIO to Working Class: Trump is Not Your Friend

New ad shows Trump decrying high wages and bragging that he’s “really rich”
    Posted at May 20, 2016 11:18 AM

The nation’s largest federation of labor unions has released an ad calling Donald Trump no friend of the working man, possibly to counter his appeal among white, blue-collar voters.

An ad from the AFL-CIO shows Trump saying wages are too high, talking about his father giving him a million dollar loan, and bragging that he is “really rich.”

Trump’s rise to the top of the Republican presidential ticket has been fueled by overwhelming support among working-class, white voters.

Possible Conflict at Heart of Clinton Foundation

The Clintons have been targeted by accusations of wrongdoing from Whitewater to Benghazi. There also are self-inflicted wounds: President Bill Clinton’s dalliance with Monica Lewinsky and Hillary Clinton’s use of private email servers while secretary of state.

They may be on the verge of creating another one: The Clinton Foundation, which has done a number of good works over the past 15 years, would appear to present an inherent conflict of interest should Mrs. Clinton become president, and possibly does even now with her as a candidate.

Mrs. Clinton has suggested that if she is elected, the foundation — which collects contributions from wealthy interests, including foreign governments — would continue basically as is. “The work that it’s done has been extraordinary,” she said in March when asked whether there would be any ethical concerns about continuing the foundation. “The answer is transparency.”

Ethics experts reject that answer. They say there wouldn’t be any way to avoid the appearance of conflicts if she wins the presidency.

“If Bill seeks to raise large sums of money from donors who also have an interest in U.S. policy, the public will rightly question whether the grants affected United States foreign policy,” said Stephen Gillers, a legal ethics expert at New York University School of Law. Ethics rules, he notes, are “not merely to prevent bad behavior but to foster public trust in the integrity of government choices.” He’s open, however, to the idea of their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, running the foundation.

But others say any connection is unacceptable. Joel Fleishman, who ran a foundation and has written a book on philanthropy, says the Clintons have to “sever the relationship completely and put it in the hands of independent trustees.” Mr. Fleishman says the Clintons have to pick a leader of “impeccable integrity and let it go its own way in raising money.”

What is it about supporting Hillary Clinton that drives people to make complete asses of themselves. Interesting photo of SENATOR Barbara Boxer here. At the end of the day, I suppose that many of these venerated politicians are just garden variety assholes.

      • This LYING bish!

      • Liza says:

Isn’t she the worst? Holier-than-thou Barbara Boxer certainly has an ugly side. So much is learned from phone cameras and social media making it harder for these folks to hide their true selves.

      • Liza says:

And the Hillary supporter are out in droves on Twitter trashing Bernie Sanders. I can’t remember the last time a Hillary supporter gave a reason why Hillary would be a good president. It’s all about her army of trolls attacking Bernie. That alone really should tell people what her presidency would be like, a repeat of 1992-2000, hardly where we want to be in 2017.

If the Democrats keep going this way, they are about to find out how unpopular she really is in the general election when ALL of independent voters are eligible. Trump is starting to close the very narrow gap between him and Hillary. It’s going to get worse. I think the Democratic leadership, in trying to force their will on the people, has cut off enough rope to hang themselves and us too. Who suffers in 2017-2020? It won’t be them.

      • eliihass says:

You have to remember that for all of these politicians, it’s all about self-interest. They are all bought and paid for – and are all entirely driven by their own various personal and selfish agenda that has absolutely nothing to do with the much tossed about ‘greater good’…and certainly not about regular folks…

Zach Rodham is both Barbara Boxer’s grandson and Hillary Clinton’s nephew. Boxer’s daughter Nicole was married to Hillary’s brother Tony Rodham.

‘…At the end of the day, I suppose that many of these venerated politicians are just garden variety assholes…’

I believe more than a few of us have already come to that conclusion already sadly…
