He’s bringing her into the show ring.
My little cousin caught a calf in the calf scramble last year and won a $1200 certificate to purchase a young heifer. He worked so hard taking care of this animal for a year. He won 1st place commercial heifer and second place in halter show in this year’s county fair. Congratulations to this kid. He’s such a good boy and is so deserving of all the rewards. His heifer sold for over $4000 dollars in the youth auction sale.

Wow, Southern, I get the feeling that you come from a little bit of money! Just seeing such things as this.
We had no money but just owned some land. My dad was a farmer and hired people to work for him. Not many black people in our neck of the woods owned land.
This is cool and classy. You obviously come from people who have heads for success and what I really like is that you don’t brag about it. It just speaks for itself.
