House Intel schedules first Russia hearing for March 20th

(CNN) — House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes announced Tuesday the first public hearing in their investigation into Russia’s meddling in the US election last year will be March 20.

Nunes said he has invited FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers, as well as former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former Attorney General Sally Yates, to testify.

The House Intelligence Committee has set an aggressive schedule for its investigation, requesting a slew of documents from the intelligence agencies by March 17.

Nunes told reporters there is no evidence yet of President Donald Trump being wiretapped last year by then-President Barack Obama, but said the committee will look into it.

Trump made the allegation without presenting evidence on Twitter over the weekend.

Trump needs to be brought up on charges of SLANDERING a former POTUS,

This MOFO needs to go with the QUICKNESS!

    • Ametia says:

DUH! of course they didn’t find any evidence.

What has the Senate Intelligence Committee going to do with all those #45 RUSSIAN TIES, HMMM?

  2. Ametia says:

THIS: Anything or anyone minutely connected to Snowden or Assange are RUSSIA’S LAPDOGS.

I’m pretty sure that they’ve tried to make Trump get in line and restrain himself, the successful address he made seem to confirm he had gain control of himself. But then he wandered off the ranch again and they now realize he can’t be controlled. I think they’re lining up to remove him. Trouble is, next in line will be even more crazy, but more politically savvy, thus more difficult to defeat.

It will then become a question of how fast the damage they do, by shutting down and undoing the national institutions and deregulation, arrives. That damage is already arriving, because people have brains enough to see where things are going, and plan to move ahead of the curve. Retailers are taking it on the chin, as all this republican fed fear of terrorism, reduces the public inclination to attend the mall and shop on line more. I’ve been noticing lots of other little things happening, that never happened before. True they are still rare instances now, but whether they go away or increase in frequency, we’ll just have to wait and see. In any event the nation is wading into on unholy mess by any of the metrics I’ve seen anyone care to express so far.

    • Ametia says:

      “Successful address” That’s SNARK, right?

      • Lonnie Starr says:

To anyone paying attention any “success” for Trump would be abject and unmitigated failure even for a toddler. So yes, it’s either a bald faced lie or it has to be snark. Remember we’re marking on a curve that has this incredibly downward slop.

Meanwhile the nation is rapidly heading towards disaster as much needed direction is no where to be found. Since no one can know what objectives they should be working towards, how can any administration official do their jobs? Since what’s right today is wrong tomorrow, and no one knows who or where Trump will lash out next, everything has to be placed on hold, the nation is merely coasting along in hopes that something will give soon, one way or another.

Eventually these tasks left undone will grow to insurmountable levels, such that even the wealthy will realize that the systems they were familiar with have changed and that this is tending to impact their own franchises. So yeah, very soon the ^^it will hit the proverbial fan.

  4. I’m glued to the tv watching #Maddow. The author of the Trump dossier, Christopher Steele, is alive & no one wants to talk to him? WTF?
