I still believe that they are killing American citizens in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

ICYMI,

The island of Puerto Rico CREMATED OVER 900 BODIES THAT THEY ARE NOT COUNTING IN THE OFFICIAL DEATH COUNT.

900!!!!

The death count is ‘in flux’, because we can’t get Government Officials to go on the record about the number of deaths.

    President Trump cracked down on the ability of U.S. citizens to travel and do business with Cuba on Wednesday, a major step toward rolling back another Obama-era policy.

    Under new regulations that take effect Thursday, the Trump administration is banning Americans from doing business with dozens of entities with links to Cuba’s military. The move effects stores, hotels, tourist agencies and even two rum makers.

    Obama ended more than 50 years of diplomatic isolation with its Cold War foe, reestablishing embassies in Havana and Washington and making it easier for Americans to visit their long-isolated Caribbean neighbors.

    THREAD: Fellow Democrats. We won big last night. Huge. It wasn’t close. It was a blowout. Here’s what our next steps should be.

    1/ This election taught us that one big thing matters: contest EVERY state and local seat. Even hard right ones. Because you’ll always win at least a few. If we do that in 2018, the House is ours.

    2/ By that same token: a good ground game and a powerful message of resistance is needed. When we all work together to turn out the vote, great things happen.

    3/ We should now take #ALSen seriously. If just tied up the 5th-most gerrymandered state legislature in the country, we can bring it for Doug Jones.

    4/ As Maine shows, we also win big when it’s our agenda rather than our people on the ballot. So let’s push more referenda. Starting with the felon enfranchisement initiative in Florida.

    5/ (Sidenote, we should have learned that lesson LONG ago. We actually won pretty big on referenda in 2014 and 2016, which were otherwise nightmare years).

    6/ Governors, Governors, Governors. Last night’s vote ended partisan gerrymandering in VA. We can end it in WI, MI, OH, and FL by electing a Dem governor, and in PA by re-electing the one we already have.

    7/ We picked up two new Democratic state trifectas: NJ and WA. Let’s use them. We can run real progressive legislation in these states now.

    8/ On another note: let’s protect Bob Mueller. Trump is furious from last night, and he’ll only get angrier as more indictments come. No telling what he’ll do.

    9/ And let’s also burn this tax bill to ashes. We sent the GOP a message to listen to us — not to spoiled brat billionaire donors.

    10/ Basically, let’s learn from our winners last night, and leverage their newfound state and local power to resist…into 2018 and beyond. END

    Next to Bala was a gray-haired man who told me he voted for Trump and was happy so far because “he’s kept his promises.”

    I asked which ones.
    “Border security.” But there’s no wall yet. “No fault of his,” the man said.

    What else? “Getting rid of Obamacare.” But he hasn’t. “Well, he’s tried to.”
    What else? “Defunding Planned Parenthood.” But he didn’t. “Not his fault again,” the man said.
    I asked for his name. “Bill K.,” he said. He wouldn’t give me his last name. “I don’t trust you,” he said.

    More than anything, what seemed to upset the people I spoke with was the National Football League players who have knelt during the national anthem to protest police brutality and racial inequality.

    “As far as I’m concerned,” Frear told me, “if I was the boss of these teams, I would tell ‘em, ‘You get your asses out there and you play, or you’re not here anymore.’ They’re paying their salaries, for God’s sake.”

    “Shame on them,” Del Signore said over his alfredo. “These clowns are out there, making millions of dollars a year, and they’re using some stupid excuse that they want equality—so I’ll kneel against the flag and the national anthem?”

    “You’re not a fan of equality?” I asked.
    “For people who deserve it and earn it,” he said. “All my ancestors, Italian, 100-percent Italian, the Irish, Germans, Polish, whatever—they all came over here, settled in places like this, they worked hard and they earned the respect. They earned the success that they got. Some people don’t want to do that. They just want it handed to them.”

    “Like NFL players?” I said.
    “Well,” Del Signore responded, “I hate to say what the majority of them are …” He stopped himself short of what I thought he was about to say.

    Schilling and her husband, however, did not restrain themselves.
    “The thing that irritates me to no end is this NFL shit,” Schilling told me in her living room. “I’m about ready to go over the top with this shit. We do not watch no NFL now.” They’re Dallas Cowboys fans. “We banned ‘em. We don’t watch it.”

    Schilling looked at her husband, Dave McCabe, who’s 67 and a retired high school basketball coach. She nodded at me. “Tell him,” she said to McCabe, “what you said the NFL is …”

    McCabe looked momentarily wary. He laughed a little. “I don’t remember saying that,” he said unconvincingly.

    Schilling was having none of it. “You’re the one that told me, liar,” she said.

    She looked at me.
    The NFL?
    “Niggers for life,” Schilling said.
    “For life,” McCabe added.

      Thanks for this clip, Liza. Pres. Obama took the time to go around the room to talk and and shake hands. I can’t imagine Dolt 45 doing that. That tool would have raised his triple chins, narrowed his eyes, and run out of the room as fast as his fat legs would have taken him.

      And rumor has it, although it might be more than a rumor, the Martha McSally wants to run for Jeff Flake’s seat in the Senate. That opens up AZ-CD2 in the House and a Democrat is almost sure to get it.

      The Democratic favorite to run for Flake’s seat is Kyrsten Sinema who currently represents AZ CD9 in the House. So that House race will open up.

      I am loving that word “BACKLASH”. The Democrats need to capitalize on this, turn it into more than a backlash. They need to really go with it. Now is the moment.

      I cannot understand why Puerto Rico is not getting all the aid that it needs. We need people in Fema and Congress to act with compassionate and responsible hearts NOW!

        Vulture capitalism coupled with racism. Because of their racism, they believed that they could plunder these people with sweetheart deals with obvious kickbacks to unqualified companies. It disgusts me.
