Crow has garnered nine Grammy Awards (out of 32 nominations) from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

In addition to her own work, Crow has performed with the Dixie Chicks, the Rolling Stones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Stevie Nicks, Michael Jackson, Steve Earle, Prince, Eric Clapton, Luciano Pavarotti, Willie Nelson, Smokey Robinson, John Mellencamp, B.B. King, George Strait, Tony Bennett, Kid Rock, Sting, and Zucchero Fornaciari, among others. As an actress, Crow has appeared on various television shows including 30 Rock, Cop Rock, GCB, Cougar Town, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert’s Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, as well as One Tree Hill. Crow holds liberal political views, opposing the invasion of Iraq in 2003, supporting gun control measures, and supports fighting climate change.

1984–92: Early years

After graduating from the University of Missouri, Crow worked as a music teacher at the Kellison elementary school in Fenton, Missouri. Teaching during the day gave her the opportunity to sing in bands on the weekends. She was later introduced to local musician and record producer Jay Oliver. He had a studio in the basement of his parents’ home in St. Louis and helped her by using her in advertising jingles. Her first jingle was a ‘back to school’ spot for the St Louis department store Famous-Barr.

Soon after she sang in commercial jingles for McDonald’s (stated on the Today Show 4/19/17 she did not create) and Toyota. She was quoted in a 60 Minutes segment as saying she made $40,000 on her McDonald’s ad alone.
Crow toured with Michael Jackson as a backing vocalist during his Bad World Tour 1987–89 and often performed with Jackson on “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You”. She also recorded background vocals for performances for a number of established artists such as Stevie Wonder, Belinda Carlisle and Don Henley.

In 1989, Crow contributed backing vocals to the Neal Schon track “Smoke of the Revolution” from his album Late Nite.
Crow also sang in the short-lived Steven Bochco drama Cop Rock in 1990. That same year, her song “Heal Somebody” appeared in the film Bright Angel. The following year, she performed “Hundreds of Tears”, which was included in the Point Break soundtrack, and sang a duet with Kenny Loggins on the track “I Would Do Anything”, from his album Leap of Faith.

This clip is a perfect example of that confusing combo whiplash-bait-switch-gaslighting embedded in moments of rare honesty that might not hold up for 48 hours.. as the usual voices flip on us again..

But it is a great mini catalog of Mike Pence’s many lies and endlessly playing dumb…

And some gratification hearing Steve Schmidt call Pence a titanic fraud..

Watch especially the guy behind Beauregard’s wife …the angry expression once the words Alt-Right and White Nationalist are mentioned..

Confused about GOP claims on Senate Tax Bill?
    Consider:
    — 64 million earning $1 million get 100X more than $40K-$50K earners
    — 19M earning < $200K get tax hike
    — GOP budget cuts Medicaid/Medicare by $1.8 trillion

Trump, breaking with precedent, will not meet with American Nobel recipients
    NOVEMBER 13, 2017

WASHINGTON — President Trump, breaking a tradition that stretches back nearly two decades, will not personally greet the eight American Nobel laureates this year before they travel to Sweden in December to receive their prizes.

Not all the honorees are disappointed.

Two American Nobel Prize winners, when contacted by STAT, indicated they would not have attended a White House event even if invited. Columbia biophysicist Joachim Frank, awarded a Nobel in chemistry for his work in microscopy, said in an email he was “very relieved” when he learned there was no chance of an encounter with the president.

“I will not put my foot into the White House as long as Trump, Pence, or Ryan (i.e., the possible succession of impeachments) will occupy it,” Frank said. “I cannot speak for the others; don’t know them personally yet, but I strongly believe that as thinking intelligent people they will have a similar attitude as I.”

“While America continues to maintain a significant military edge over its closest rivals, it’s gradually losing the main battle that is defining this century: trade and investment. Meanwhile, China is busy shaping the world in its own image with verve and vigor. In a surreal twist of events, a communist regime has now emerged as the unlikely guardian of globalization and multilateral diplomacy.”

A Trump Judicial Nominee Appears To Have Written About Politics On A Sports Website And Didn’t Disclose It

After the Sandy Hook mass shooting, a commenter on a University of Alabama sports fan message board who later identified himself as Brett Talley wrote, “My solution would be to stop being a society of pansies and man up.”

One of President Donald Trump’s federal court nominees appears to have written posts for years on a University of Alabama sports fan website — including posts about gun control and immigration — and didn’t disclose the writings on his Senate questionnaire.

The messages on TideFans.com were posted by the user “BamainBoston.” In a Dec. 8, 2014, post, the user identified himself as Brett Talley, linking to a Washington Post article about Talley under the subject line “Washington Post Did A Feature On Me.”

Talley has been nominated for a seat on the US District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, and is already facing criticism this week for a disclosure-related issue: The New York Times reported on Monday that Talley failed to include in his Senate questionnaire that he is married to a lawyer in the White House counsel’s office, Ann Donaldson. The questionnaire asks nominees to disclose family members who are “likely to present potential conflicts of interest.”

  10. OMG! Jeff Sessions is still with the “I can’t recall bullshit”. How can he function as AG if he doesn’t remember any damn thing? Stop this madness. Charge him with perjury already! #SessionsHearing

  11. Jeff Sessions is before the House Judiciary Committee.

How many times does he get to perjure himself? White privilege is a hellava drug.
