I’m having a hard time finding Aunt Jemima *yellow*cornmeal mix. What’s up with that? I need it for my dressing. All I’ve found is the Aunt Jemima white cornmeal mix. If I don’t find it there will be trouble. 😟
SG2, Google shopping is showing it at Walmart. If the local store doesn’t have it you can order online and pickup in the store in two days. I generally avoid Walmart but will use them if I have to.

Thanks, Liza! I always use it to make my cornbread. It’s the best.
I’m gonna remember that and make some cornbread.

I wake up every morning in disbelief that my country has come to this.
One of the most notorious con men who ever lived is in the oval office. Congress is full of thugs and thieves and evil.
I didn’t see this coming.
I want to wail. But what does that solve? Maybe it’s time to pack our bags and get the fuck outta here?
I was telling my husband a few months ago that this is the first time in my life I have actually given thought to living in another country.
Well, of course, somewhere out there are other places to live that would be better for people like us, who have our values and beliefs. Finding them is the hard part. And perhaps even in this country there are places we could live that would be better. Maybe what it takes is just becoming very local, getting very involved in the local community. And, the truth is, that may be how we have to re-build the country when this GOP reign of terror has run it’s course, from the bottom up.
Here we go again…the CRAZYFICATION FACTOR.
Despite the MSM’s efforts to give cover to the GOP, I am shocked at the level of accuracy in the opinions of the public about the GOP Tax Scam.
The ignorant ‘undecided’ will soon crash into reality.
……………………………
Poll: Trump and GOP never intended to strike a bipartisan deal.
As Republicans rush their tax bill to the House and Senate floors for a final round of votes, a new poll shows that Americans do not believe that the GOP, in crafting the controversial legislation, reached out in good faith to Democrats.
Only 27% say Republicans and President Trump sought meaningful input from their partisan opponents on Capitol Hill, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. More than six-in-10 respondents said the opposite.
Republican officials in Washington, who are expected to pass the bill and send it to the White House late Wednesday, have accused Democrats of shutting down any across-the-aisle overtures. Moderate Democrats, including a few up for election next year in red states, were once thought to be amenable to a compromise. But the GOP never came close, or appeared to make much of an effort, to enlist their ideas or votes.
Democrats, for their part, are deeply skeptical that this massive, top-heavy tax cut will deliver the broad economic benefits promised by Republicans. They have duly rejected every version of the proposal en masse for favoring the wealthy and adding more than $1 trillion to the federal debt.
EPA chief sweeps office for bugs, installs high-tech locks
WASHINGTON (AP) — The head of the Environmental Protection Agency used public money to have his office swept for hidden listening devices and bought sophisticated biometric locks for additional security.
The spending items, totaling nearly $9,000, are among a string of increased counter-surveillance precautions taken by EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, who also requires around-the-clock protection by an armed security team.
The EPA’s Office of Inspector General is already investigating Pruitt’s $25,000 purchase of a custom-made soundproof privacy booth for his office to deter eavesdropping on his phone calls.
On Tuesday, EPA was forced to abandon a $120,000 no-bid contract with a Republican-linked public relations firm after it was reported one of its partners had been investigating EPA employees critical of Pruitt’s efforts to roll back or delay enforcement of environmental regulations.
An accounting of Pruitt’s spending for the bug sweep and pricey locks was provided to The Associated Press by an EPA employee who spoke on condition of anonymity, citing concerns of retaliation.
EPA spokesman Jahan Wilcox defended the spending.

ROBBERS & THIEVES
Like it or not, big day for @SpeakerRyan. The former waiter at Tortilla Coast, located in the shadows of the U.S. Capitol, today oversees passage of a bill he’s wanted his entire career.

The fact that passing a bill that raises taxes on waiters at Tortilla Coast in order to give permanent tax cuts to corporations and billionaires and pave the way for gutting Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security is Ryan’s dream is hardly goosebump-worthy. https://t.co/fmF4z7EGH5

“Former waiter at Tortilla Coast” makes it sound like he was slinging shakes at a lunch counter in Kearney, Nebraska. He was working at what was essentially a House staff happy hour, & a satellite location of K-Street https://t.co/WHvrYMFloi

Paul Ryan was born into one of the wealthiest families in Janesville, Wisconsin. By the time he was 28 he had around $1M in assets which included a home and rental properties. He’s no working class hero because he was a waiter. https://t.co/CKvLsaxezW

Hours before realizing his dream of handing the wealthy a massive tax cut, Paul Ryan tweeted a highlight reel of 20 years’ worth of him lying about taxes https://t.co/WNXo15vb8q

BREAKING: House passes first rewrite of nation’s tax laws in three decades, providing steep tax cuts for businesses, the wealthy.
— The Associated Press (@AP) December 19, 2017
Unsurprisingly, the #GOPTaxScam is so badly written the @HouseGOP will have to take *another* vote to pass it tomorrow morning. The seams of this Frankenstein’s monster are already showing.
