Well, Melania is the other half of a bad joke being played on the American people by those 63 million voters who wanted to “blow things up”. My gut feeling is that Melania, concerned only about her own future and that of her son, knows that it is in her best interest just to wait this out.

Civil rights and labor leader Asa Philip Randolph was born on this day, April 15, in 1889.

    Excerpt from Wikipedia:

In 1925, he organized and led the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, the first predominantly African-American labor union. In the early Civil Rights Movement and the Labor Movement, Randolph was a voice that would not be silenced. His continuous agitation with the support of fellow labor rights activists against unfair labor practices in relation to people of color eventually led President Franklin D. Roosevelt to issue Executive Order 8802 in 1941, banning discrimination in the defense industries during World War II. The group then successfully pressured President Harry S. Truman to issue Executive Order 9981 in 1948, ending segregation in the armed services.

In 1963, Randolph was the head of the March on Washington, which was organized by Bayard Rustin, at which Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his “I Have A Dream” speech. Randolph inspired the “Freedom Budget”, sometimes called the “Randolph Freedom budget”, which aimed to deal with the economic problems facing the black community, it was published by the Randolph Institute in January 1967 as “A Freedom Budget for All Americans”.

      Nina has lost her mind..

I was one who spoke up for her when she was mistreated… but gosh, enough already Nina..

But someone needs to pull Nina aside and tell her that she’s in for a world of hurt …Just like the alt-right folks wink-winked as they faux-talked up Ben and Candy Carson, but quickly threw them under the bus, so too the faux-progressive/libertarian racists Nina thinks like her, are simply using her to ‘prove’ they aren’t quite as racist as they really are.. They are the faux-progressive wing of the alt-right, and they’re as vile and racist as the White supremacists in the Republican Party…

If Nina really thinks they’re serious when they talk her up, she’s in more denial than I thought..

Tulsi Gabbard and to some extent, Jill Stein… Nina is their temporarily ‘useful’ blackface..

Sure, the Democratic Party didn’t really support her, and shame on them, but she’s in for a world of hurt with these ‘progressive racists’ she’s playing footsie with..

      • eliihass says:

Meant to type, Tulsi Gabbard is their one and only.. that’s who they’re really, really backing and setting the stage for… Nina is not even remotely on their radar, or even remotely someone they would consider backing or voting for anything.. she’s simply their useful idiot, and useful only as cover for their mostly similar alt-right sentiments..

My mind rushes ahead of my typing fingers..

      Excellent article.

I noticed that the Starbucks employee was referred to as “her” and white, of course.

Now let’s hope that, with the country’s and NYC’s attention on these children, help will be given to get them and their families into homes and apartments.
