So, the latest about the evil being done at the borders.
People have felt helpless, then angry, and have been about ‘ what can we do to help others?’
So, there was a couple who saw the pictures of the kids in cages, did some research, and found out that once of the organizations doing help down at the border, says that the legal costs for getting a parent out of custody was $1500.

They did a fundraiser on Facebook. They just wanted to raise enough to get one parent out and get that parent back to their child.
But, their Facebook post went viral, and they didn’t raise $1500 – they raised MILLIONS.
A released parent is a parent that can then ask that their child be returned to them.
In another part of the country was the ruling by the judge that taken children under 5 needed to be returned to their parent within 14 days.
Children older than 5 needed to be returned to their parents within 30 days.
The clock is ticking.
Let’s make it quite clear-
These BARBARIANS NEVER HAD A PLAN IN PLACE TO FACILITATE THE REUNIFICATION OF CHILDREN WITH PARENTS.
They did a PILOT program of taking the kids away.
But, nobody suing them has yet to see an official, organized system of REUNIFICATION.
Because, I believe, THEY NEVER INTENDED TO GIVE THESE CHILDREN BACK.

So, that brings me to the information that I found out on Monday’s Rachel Maddow Show.

Rachel Maddow is joined by immigration lawyer Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch who says ICE has stopped allowing some of her clients to pay a bond so they can reunite with their children.

The Trump administration is denying bond to some parents who have been separated from their children and are eligible to apply for asylum, according to two Texas immigration lawyers.The unusual move, which can extend the amount of time the families remain separated, comes just days after a federal judge ordered the Trump administration to quickly reunite separated families.

In an interview with Mother Jones, Austin-based immigration attorney Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch says that by denying bond and forcing migrant parents to remain in detention while they apply for asylum, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement is “completely disobeying the judge’s order—intentionally.” Jodi Goodwin, a south Texas immigration lawyer who is working with separated parents at the Port Isabel detention center, agrees that the bond denials conflict with the recent injunction.

It is unclear how many migrants have been denied bond in recent days, but Lincoln-Goldfinch and Goodwin pointed to seven such denials they said had occurred since Thursday. The migrants have the right to appeal bond denials, but that process can take weeks.

So, now, that there is enough money to get large numbers of the arrested parents OUT ON BAIL..

All of a sudden, BAIL CAN’T BE POSTED?

    So here’s another white boy thinking it’s his job to police who uses the community pool. He apparently demanded that this black resident show him her ID even though residents use a swipe card to unlock the gate. He’s a garden variety racist asshole, to be sure, but what is special about this guy is that he is teaching the child who is with him to be just like him.

    I spent some more time looking at Xena’s blog and found where Yahtzee “liked” a post on June 7. So that is a month ago. If I had to guess she is probably taking a trip and will be back soon.

      Excellent documentary. Hubby & i went to see it. We got the last 2 tickets. theater was full. Very encouraging, because the message of LOVE, oozed from every scene.

    We had a good time yesterday. The food was so good. My brother can cook, y’all. His brisket, so tender and seasoned off the chain. His jalapeno poppers…..pure heaven to the taste buds.

      There’s nothing like good food.

      I had to deal with homegrown fireworks until about 10:30 PM. I hate people who do this in neighborhoods. It scares all the dogs. My border collie was glued to me the whole time, she was so afraid of them.

        A few years back a German Shepard showed up at our house and at first we were scared of him. But then he seemed friendly. I gave him some water and he drank and drank. He was so thirsty. I asked around the town if anyone was missing a dog. After a week, I located the owner and she (Mom of the little boy who owned him) told me people at her house were popping firecrackers and he ran away. The thing is we lived miles away from them. The Mom asked what did she owe me for taking care of the dog……I said nothing. I don’t want any money.

        Those people were so lucky that a kindhearted person like you took care of their dog. A lot of these stories have sad endings where the dog runs away, isn’t found, gets hit by a car, etc… I have to put up with this every year on the 4th, also on New Year’s eve. It’s illegal but the cops don’t care. A few years ago the cop who lives next door to me had a big party on the 4th with fireworks.
