Friday Open Thread | What We Have To Look Forward To

I was reading a post at another blog, and was thinking about things.

I do think that we turned a corner in November 2018.

As I said before, November 2018, was the choice to continue this American Experiment.

December is right around the corner. We are lucky that the GOP are among the laziest bunch of people you’ve ever met, from Dolt45 on down. They won’t be working that many days in December, which is good for the country.
January 2019 will be here before you know it. A new Congress, and finally, a voice for the rest of us, not drinking the Dolt45 Kool Aid.

Oh, they will come up with more schemes, because that’s what they do…
But, now, we will have a branch of the Government that says NO.
A branch with subpoena power.
A branch that will ask the serious questions.

That is what we need to hold onto. Because, this bunch of trapped rats is only going to get worse…but, we have to dig in and fight.

2018 has also been clarifying…we know who the Republicans are…and, they should be dealt with as such.
There is absolutely nothing that we have common ground with them on…
We believe in the American Social Safety Net….they don’t.
They believe that it’s ok to gas mothers and children….WE don’t…
They believe that it’s ok to strip the consumer protections that keep us from getting Ecoli and killing people….WE don’t…
We believe in science….they don’t. …
We believe in protecting the right to vote…..they don’t….

You understand where I am going….
You can’t look to compromise with people whose positions are made from pure, unadulterated evil.
You just can’t.
Voting in November 2018 was just the first step…Those we sent to Congress need to be reassured that we have their backs….so, they need to do what they gotta do to represent US.

      I’m going to play devil’s advocate here & say there’s a back story to this girl hitting habits.

      Where did it come from? Who ha she seen hitting & smacking?

      She needs to be checked with a quickness, otherwise she will grow up to be a battered, violent little demon.

      Joe Scarborough handpicked him …told him he can be ‘president’… but just for the Democrats..

      Because Scarborough who only ever won an obscure congressional seat that he quickly disappeared from after some seriously messed up shenanigans that included ‘mysterious’ death of female at the office ..wants to instruct Democrats on the Who, What and How …and only to set the stage for his actual preferred candidate: Any dubious, mediocre, corrupt, ignorant, callous, republican …or whatever incurious, corrupt, morally bankrupt, marginally literate fake-billionaire with a tax-cut fetish, runs as a republican –

    SG2, this is gorgeous. Someone in comments said it’s a Lakota prayer. It’s called Peyote Healing and it’s on Robbie Robertson’s 1998 album, Contact from the Underworld of Red Boy.

    Marriott said that a data breach may have compromised the information of up to 500 million guests.

    NBC News’s Erik Ortiz reports: “The world’s largest hotel chain said it determined on Nov. 19 that an ‘unauthorized party’ had accessed the database as early as 2014. ‘The company has not finished identifying duplicate information in the database, but believes it contains information on up to approximately 500 million guests who made a reservation at a Starwood property,’ Bethesda, Maryland-based Marriott said in a statement. For about 327 million of the guests, it added, the information includes some combination of a name, mailing address, phone number, email address, passport number, Starwood Preferred Guest account information, date of birth, gender, arrival and departure information, reservation date, and communication preferences.”
