Santa Baby” was originally recorded by Eartha Kitt with Henri René and his orchestra in New York City, in July, 1953. It was released by RCA Victor Records as catalog number 20-5502 (in the USA),[2] and by EMI on the His Master’s Voice label as catalog number B 10728. The song was a huge hit for Kitt, and she later said that it was one of her favorite songs to record; she reprised it in the 1954 film New Faces. Kitt re-recorded the sing for Kapp Records in 1963, using a more uptempo arrangement (Madonna‘s popular rendition for the 1987 charity album A Very Special Christmas was based on this latter version). In 1954, Kitt recorded a new version of the song with new lyrics titled “This Year’s Santa Baby”, to no commercial success. Writers listed did not change.

The song is heard in the films Driving Miss Daisy (1989), Elf (2003), and Boynton Beach Club (2005).

    Woman Cancels Baby Shower After Name Choice Ridiculed

    A pregnant woman called off her baby shower after her family ridiculed the name she had bestowed on her unborn son: Squire Sebastian Senator.

    In a Facebook post, which later went viral after being shared on Reddit, the woman — who has not been named — explained her decision to cancel her baby shower, blaming her “fake a** family.”

    “I have a really important announcement to make. It brings me pain to have to tell you this, but I am cancelling the event,” she wrote. “Why am I doing this?” Because ya’ll have been talking s*** about my unborn baby. AN UNBORN CHILD.”

    “How can you judge an unborn child?? What is wrong with you?”

    The woman goes on to accuse her friends and family of treating her “like total s***” after they questioned her strange name choice.

    “They’ve spread rumors and lies about my child. No, I am not crazy. No, I am not mentally unstable. No, I was not drunk when I named my child,” she continued. “His name is Squire Sebastian Senator.”

      As far as I’m concerned, it’s none of my business what anyone names their child.

      Put it this way, I told my daughters that they can choose to get as many tattoos and piercing they wanted, then go stroll into a work interview covered in them.

      See where I’m going with this?

      Fortunately, they both have college degrees with good paying jobs. Unless they work for themselves, they had to make conscious choices about what they were going to do to their bodies.

    Attorneys for the Russian gun rights activist and federal prosecutors jointly requested in court documents Monday that U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan set a time for Butina to withdraw her previous plea of not guilty. They said they could be available for her to enter her plea as early as Tuesday.

    Butina was accused of working to push the Kremlin’s agenda by connecting with National Rifle Association officials and other conservative leaders and making outreach to 2016 presidential candidates.

        Thomas Markle can’t keep his d@mn mouth shut. That his daughter married a royal doesn’t entitle him to sh*t.
