beautiful-christmas-candles-28O Holy Night“ (“Cantique de Noël“) is a well-known Christmas carol composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847 to the French poem “Minuit, chrétiens” (Midnight, Christians) by Placide Cappeau (1808–1877). Cappeau, a wine merchant and poet, had been asked by a parish priest to write a Christmas poem.[1] Unitarian minister John Sullivan Dwight,[2] editor of Dwight’s Journal of Music, created a singing edition based on Cappeau’s French text in 1855. In both the French original and in the two familiar English versions of the carol, the text reflects on the birth of Jesus and of mankind’s redemption.

    Are we there yet..??

How much longer.. how much more of this traitorous dystopian rubbish must this country take..

There ought to be no deferring to a treasonous Russian asset …

How are the same generals and faux-strongmen and fake bleeding heart ‘patriots’ either limping away from the damage being done to our country, while others sigh and look away …insisting that every reverence and freehand be granted a treasonous buffoon cum Russian asset dubiously handed our White House and nuclear codes …and playing pretend as he awaits instructions from Moscow..

But had a black President even as much as sneezed in the Situation room, all these wimps would be flexing their muscles, spouting off at the mouth, demanding his immediate outster.. And God help him if he as much as opens his mouth to offer an explanation… He’d be dragged out of there – dead or alive …

    But here we are..

In this Orwellian nightmare… where up is down and down is up ..and a vacuous bimbo who read scripts and did skits on FOX ‘news’ is tapped to be the United Nations Ambassador …while general Mattis is still ‘respectfully’ pledging his allegiance to a treasonous buffoon who’s just disrespected himawan he turns in his resignation? fired? Letter…

    This comment right HERE:

t’s so obvious why Trump threatened a shutdown…Trump just doesn’t want people to talk about Syria (Trump’s present to Putin, Iran and Turkey). He also doesn’t want people talking about North Korea’s strengthening nuclear weapon development and Kim Jung Un’s threat to Trump to remove even more troops from strategic locations. Trump made a series of dangerous decisions that his own GOP say will lead to a second 9/11 style attack, and he doesn’t want the news to talk about it.

The 2020 Democratic Presidential Primary Will Not Be a Repeat of 2016
    by Nancy LeTourneau
    December 20, 2018

I’ve been arguing that those who want 2020 to be a replay of the 2016 Democratic presidential primary are not only being divisive, they are looking in the rear-view mirror. That is because some important things have changed since the last presidential election.

Beyond the political landscape and the candidates, there will be a major change in how Democrats chose their presidential nominee for 2020. California has decided to join at least eight other states in holding their primary on March 3—otherwise known as Super Tuesday. While some states haven’t yet confirmed when their primaries will take place, here is the list of those that have already signed on to that first Tuesday in March:
    ………………………..

Even more important than California voting on Super Tuesday is the fact that it’s essentially a vote-by-mail state. Voters will get their ballots the first week of February, about the same time as the Iowa caucuses. That means candidates won’t be able to spend the months leading up to the caucuses traveling around Iowa doing “retail politics.” Moulitsas describes what candidates will be required to build in 2019 to compete in 2020.

It’s this simple—the candidates who will be competitive are those who can build mass movements behind them. I’m talking strong social media presence, email list in the millions, and the ability to rally tens of thousands of people instantaneously. There are just a handful of candidates, out of the 25 or so Democrats who we think are running, who fit the bill at the moment: Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Bernie Sanders, maybe Beto O’Rourke, and … I’m having a hard time coming up with more (though undoubtedly, additional candidates will get there during the next year). If you can’t build that movement in 2019, then you have no business running for president.

House Intel votes to release Roger Stone transcript to Mueller
    Source: The Hill

The House Intelligence Committee voted Thursday to release the official witness transcript of Roger Stone to special counsel Robert Mueller’s office.

A congressional source told The Hill that committee members voted to hand over the transcript in a unanimous voice vote.

The Washington Post first reported Wednesday that the special counsel’s office had requested the official copy of Stone’s transcript from his interview last year with congressional investigators. Former federal prosecutors told the newspaper that it could mean that the special counsel is preparing to charge Stone.

Stone and his attorney did not immediate respond to requests for comment. The special counsel’s office declined to comment.

‘TRUMP IS A TRAITOR’: Minneapolis man installs political holiday light display, and the locals love it

A Minneapolis man has installed decorations directed at President Donald Trump — and residents apparently really like it.

Tom Hoch, a 2017 Minneapolis mayoral candidate, hung a huge holiday light display on his second-story balcony Dec. 14 that reads, “TRUMP IS A TRAITOR.” The sign is more than four feet high. Hoch’s home overlooks a lake and according to the Star Tribune, people pass by along the parkway at all times of the day and night in cars, on foot or by bike.
