Monday Open Thread |Jared Kushner is a threat to National Security. Why does he have a top Security Clearance?

Security Clearances are important because there are some things that must be kept secret unto the government. We have levels of law enforcement, and people who are undercover, who risk their lives in service to this country. And, there are all kinds of bad folks out there, that our law enforcement are trying to root out and defeat.

People applying for a Security Clearance, have to be above reproach, because we, as a country, cannot have people handing sensitive documents and secrets, and be vulnerable to blackmail from a hostile foreign power.
There are rules in place. Procedures that EVERYONE WHO APPLIES TO GET A SECURITY CLEARANCE, must go through. There is an entire process and a department full of professionals, for whom the application of Security Clearances IS THEIR JOB. And, being professionals, they take it seriously.

Every Administration has understood this. Until now.
We knew this, intellectually. We knew it, but, still, the confirmation is gratifying.

Son-in-law’s Security Clearance has been a subject of many stories, mainly because we could never get a STRAIGHT ANSWER as to how he got one. We find out that he amended his application MISSING 100 PREVIOUS HIDDEN CONTACTS.

We get people on tv who have gone through the process, that, no, this isn’t normal. That, for an ordinary person, just amending you application ONCE, is enough to have your Security Clearance REVOKED. Let alone MISSING 100 PREVIOUS HIDDEN CONTACTS.

And, here we are, with Kushner having done this. Yet, he got a Security Clearance……How?

Because Putin’s Asset in the White House, Dolt45, ordered it so.

President Trump’s son-in-law and senior White House adviser Jared Kushner has reportedly requested more intelligence information than almost every other White House official.
The Washington Post reports that Kushner, whose portfolio encompasses issues ranging from the Middle East peace process to modernizing the federal government’s use of technology, has put in more requests for U.S. intelligence information than any White House staffer not working for the National Security Council.
Kushner holds a Top Secret/sensitive compartmented information (SCI) security clearance, the highest level, which allows him to review some of the nation’s most closely-guarded secrets and allows him access to the presidential daily briefing, according to the Post.

Someone who shouldn’t be anywhere NEAR classified material ask for more of it than anyone else?
Does anyone else’s antennae go up? What is he doing with it? Why would he need it? Is he selling it?
