Tuesday Open Thread | Update on the ADOS Hustle

SG2 asked me to do another post on ADOS, and I agree.
The hustlers involved in ADOS out here pushing that they are the ones pushing for reparations.
Maybe they can run that con on you, but, I’ve been Black in America longer than three days. I just didn’t hear of reparations in 2016.
I first heard about reparations through former Chicago Alderman Dorothy Tillman. Tillman has been involved with reparations for forever. Considering that she last served in the Chicago City Council in 2007, that’s been over 11 years ago. Tillman was involved in the educational part of reparations. She and others spent their time providing an education about the economical foundation of slavery in this country. Time after time, Tillman, and those working with her in the reparations movement, were bringing the receipts – LITERALLY -of how there isn’t an industry in this country that didn’t have, as its underpinning, slavery. In industries that you wouldn’t have thought about it.

So, when these ADOS folks come forth, posturing as if they’re actually been leading the way…whatever.
I wrote before on them, and told you that you need to do your research.
The research will lead you to one of two places:
1. They are from the 2016 camp of
“ there’s no difference between Hillary and Trump”
“ there’s no difference between the parties”
“ you need to get hip and woke to the evils of the two party system “
“ really, the only way to truly go in 2016, is to either vote 3rd Party, or NOT VOTE AT ALL”

Dollars to donuts, research these people – this is who they are. And, they are as responsible for saddling this country with Dolt45 as any Dolt45 deplorable.

2. They are bots, Russian or otherwise, attempting to use Social Media, to amplify and sow discord in the Black community for the 2020 election.

Of particular interest to black people is a note in the New Knowledge report that says: “The IRA created an expansive cross-platform media mirage targeting the Black community, which shared and cross-promoted authentic Black media to create an immersive influence ecosystem.”
The New Knowledge report also says that Russians posted more than 1,000 YouTube videos for their disinformation campaign. Their efforts on Instagram generated more than twice the “engagement” among users than either Facebook or Twitter. “Engagement” refers to how often people interacted with a post—either by liking, sharing or commenting—rather than just seeing it on their screens.
According to the Times, the Internet Research Agency is owned by Yevgeny V. Prigozhin, a Russian businessman said to be a close ally of Russian president Vladimir Putin. Prigozhin was one of the 13 people indicted by special counsel Robert Mueller in February of this year as part of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
The Internet Research Agency devoted a lot of time and effort toward black Americans according to the New Knowledge report. A collection of their memes and messages can be seen here as proof of that.
The report says “The most prolific I.R.A. efforts on Facebook and Instagram specifically targeted black American communities and appear to have been focused on developing black audiences and recruiting black Americans as assets.”
The agency reportedly used Gmail accounts with American-sounding names to recruit and sometimes pay unwitting American activists of all races, but there was a disproportionate focus on the pursuit of black Americans according to the report.
From the Times:
Of 81 Facebook pages created by the Internet Research Agency in the Senate’s data, 30 targeted African-American audiences, amassing 1.2 million followers, the report finds. By comparison, 25 pages targeted the political right and drew 1.4 million followers. Just seven pages focused on the political left, drawing 689,045 followers.
While the right-wing pages promoted Mr. Trump’s candidacy, the left-wing pages scorned Mrs. Clinton while promoting Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate. The voter suppression effort was focused particularly on Sanders supporters and African-Americans, urging them to shun Mrs. Clinton in the general election and either vote for Ms. Stein or stay home.
As the Times notes, it’s hard to say whether those efforts had any significant impact, but the fact remains that black voter turnout for a presidential election was down for the first time in 20 years in 2016.

Well, things have changed since 2016. Those that know how to monitor things on social media, know what to look for now, in terms of bots.

 
When I first wrote about this, I pointed out that it was quantifiable – the involvement in bots in attempting to amplify ADOS, because they saw that it was being used to attack Senator Kamala Harris and her run for President. Folks that study it, could literally point to the bots, and tell you how many and how they were doing it.
I also told you to watch the response of the ADOS Hustlers. Would they condemn the bots, and say, ‘ yes, we see that the Russians are trying to muddy the waters, but they don’t speak for me’?
THIS would point to people of good faith. Well….you know what happened…
……SG2 got me hip…
They won’t admit that which people are proving, because they know how to monitor bot activity. They’re attacking Malcolm Nance? The same Malcolm Nance who wrote the book on the Russians attacking us, and has been telling us for over 3 years…that Malcolm Nance? Malcolm Nance is like the tv Steele Dossier- everything that he’s been telling us eventually turns out to be true.
They’re attacking Joy Reid, who brings on the people that are telling you how the bots are being used. I know why they are attacking Joy Reid recently – it’s due to a segment that she recently aired on her show:

Joy Reid is joined by Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee on H.R. 40, which would create a commission to study reparations, and long-time participant in the legitimate movement for reparations, Rev. Mark Thompson.

I appreciated Rev. Thompson and Joy giving historical context to the Reparations issue. Bringing up Randall Robinson’s book, and reminding folks that the Reparations Bill was first introduced in Congress in 1987 – 31 YEARS AGO. I also loved this segment because Rev. Thompson was clear to outline the warning signs of those that aren’t genuine and just got into reparations last night. And, every warning sign could be applied to the ADOS folks to a tee.
It’s a scam. It’s a hustle. They are not genuine. They were not ready for the blowback, and that folks would be researching them and bringing receipts for their actions in 2016.

I told you…that they would do this. I didn’t think that they would be this obvious so early in 2019….but, they were ALWAYS gonna lead up to telling Black people NOT TO VOTE in 2020. …it’s the same playbook as 2016, but, since folks peeped that hustle, they’re trying to use this ADOS in order to give the ‘reason’ why Black people shouldn’t vote in 2020.

You want to ensure Black voter turn out? Show a DEM candidate pushing for Reparations as a comprehensive solution to issues facing the community. Keep the conversation going, educate people about the legitimacy. Encourage DEM candidates to talk about them so we CAN vote for them!

How in the fresh hell do these ADOS trolls think reparations legislation will get passed with a republican senate & that fraud sitting in the Oval Office? The first priority is to VOTE. That’s what they want to stop.
Get your souls to the polls in 2020. Anything else is fuckery.

They don’t have answer to how Reparations gets passed into a Senate run by McConnell…and, even if the Democrats take back the Senate, we won’t get to 60 votes…so, what then?
Yeah, I thought so.

    I want to remind people that our States Attorney RECUSED HERSELF because she didn’t want any appearance of impropriety.
    But, after those ridiculous charges, she had folks that she trusts look at the case ..

    Realizing how bad it is…..she had them drop the charges.

    The police are going to look at this as another instance where Foxx “didn’t have law enforcement’s back.’🙄🙄

    Kansas Police Release Video of Cop ‘Accidentally’ Shooting Motorist Instead of Tasing Him

    After almost a year, the Lawrence, Kan., police department finally released video footage of a former officer shooting a motorist after an altercation between the motorist and another officer.

    In May 2018, driver Akira S. Lewis was pulled over by Officer Ian McCann in Lawrence for a seatbelt violation. Through the nearly eight-minute video (with very clear audio), Lewis is very upset for being pulled over for that minor violation, claiming to have seen many other white motorists guilty of the same thing, but somehow, he was the one stopped.

    The encounter escalates further when Officer McCann informs Lewis that he is going to jail for repeatedly failing to cooperate, at which point the officer calls for backup. Backup Officer Brindley Blood shows up and they both make attempts to get Lewis out of the car to be taken to jail. Things go from chaotic to bedlam as Lewis gets out of the vehicle and he and McCann get into a physical altercation, with Lewis getting the better of McCann, slamming him on the ground. Blood then pulls her gun and shoots Lewis in the back. According to Blood, she thought she was tasing him.

    From the AP:

    She is seen shooting Lewis when he punches and tackles the officer who initiated the traffic stop. Blood, who resigned from the police force in January after being placed on paid leave, is charged with aggravated battery. Lewis was treated at a hospital and is charged with several misdemeanors, including battery against a law enforcement officer.

      We have a new States Attorney (you would call her the DA).
      I bet, after the initial charges, she put forth her investigators and told them to come back to her – what they came back with must have been a HELL MUTHAPHUCKIN’ NO, and she was like…

      Uh uh . Nope.

      They told her that it stunk. So, while under another States Attorney, this case would have gone forth, it didn’t with Ms. Foxx being in charge.

      The Police Union hates her – doesn’t believe that SHE has ‘ their back’.

    BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: All criminal charges against Jussie Smollett have been dropped and his record has been expunged, the actor’s attorney confirms.

    CHICAGO — Jussie Smollett made an “emergency court appearance” in Chicago Tuesday, a representative for the actor confirmed.

    The reason for the appearance is not known. Smollett and his lawyers are expected speak to the media afterward at the courthouse.
