      Reminds me of this scene from “The Year of Living Dangerously” which was recently shown on TCM. A journalist (Mel Gibson) is walking through a Jakarta slum with a local camera man and they are talking about what can be done about the dire poverty. The camera man says, “I support the view that you just don’t think about the major issues. You do whatever you can about the misery that is right in front of you. You add your light to the sum of light.”

    We need to do our own research, carefully. Don’t fall for the starry-eyed, glowing reports/coverage of SOME of the candidates, and the obvious and sometimes very subtle bashing of others.

    FYI, Pete B. ain’t shit. I’d take Joe Biden any day over this dude. Remember, Biden’s been around, tested, he was VP.
