I want you to think about this. Not that this surprised me, because nothing surprises me with these folks. If itā€™s rotten and evil, theyā€™ve considered doing it.

White House proposed releasing immigrant detainees in sanctuary cities, targeting political foes

White House officials have tried to pressure U.S. immigration authorities to release detainees onto the streets of ā€œsanctuary citiesā€ to retaliate against President Trumpā€™s political adversaries, according to Department of Homeland Security officials and email messages reviewed by The Washington Post.
Trump administration officials have proposed transporting detained immigrants to sanctuary cities at least twice in the past six months ā€” once in November, as a migrant caravan approached the U.S. southern border, and again in February, amid a standoff with Democrats over funding for Trumpā€™s border wall.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosiā€™s district in San Francisco was among those the White House wanted to target, according to DHS officials. The administration also considered releasing detainees in other Democratic strongholds.

Because, of course they did.
I will remind people that the United States of America is the country that CREATED THE ASYLUM RULES. WE DID. And, we got the REST OF THE WORLD TO AGREE TO THEM.
This is about NON-White people. Period. We donā€™t see this kind of franticness with our NORTHERN Border.

Last week, Trump threatened to close officials ports of entry along the Mexican border, citing security concerns. But of the foreigners convicted of crimes in the United States or abroad who were stopped by CBP at ports of entry from October 2016 to February 2019, 43 percent arrived at the northern border, 42 percent at airports or ports, and just 15 percent at the southern border, according to a CBP spokeswoman.

This is about this racist Administration trying to keep out the Non-Whites. It is American policies toward Central and South America that have created the conditions that force these folks, full of desperation, to leave their homes, and attempt to seek asylum in the USA.

Children in cages. Dumping people in cities like they are a bag of garbage. This is all this Administration. This is who they are. With Neilsen gone, and the cleaning of house in DHS, just be sure, that the replacements will not be better. They will be worse. Worse, and willing to do Stephen Millerā€™s bidding, even if it breaks the law.

11-year-old ordered deported without her family

Dora Alvarado felt something was off when she arrived at immigration court in Houston March 12 with her two daughters. A court translator told her that she and her 15-year-old, Adamaris Alvarado, were listed on the docket that day. Her 11-year-old, Laura Maradiaga, was not.
Days later, Alvarado received a letter in English ā€” a language she cannot speak or read ā€” bearing Lauraā€™s name. It wasnā€™t until the trio returned to court this week that a different translator told her the letter was the 11-year-oldā€™s removal order.

ā€œI donā€™t want to leave my mom,ā€ Laura said Thursday. ā€œI want to stay with her.ā€

At a news conference Thursday led by FIEL, a local immigration advocacy group, the familyā€™s lawyer, Silvia Mintz, said she will file a motion to re-open the case. Mintz said immigration officials were at fault for the girlā€™s missed court appearance, which led to her deportation order.

    Perhaps the media should act in concert – refuse to cover the phony Barr/Rosenstein ā€˜press conferenceā€™, until such a time the extensively redacted Mueller report is released and read by congress and others..

      Iā€™ve said it here far too many times, Joe Scarborough, know-your-value Mika, Willie Geist and the rest of the Morning Joe crew, are not on our side …And should not be allowed yet again, to manipulate the process to produce an outcome that is entirely designed to once again favor and help usher in Republicans..

      Scarborough and co. may sometimes act as if they ā€˜againstā€™ the treasonous buffoon.. they arenā€™t so against him …theyā€™re mad that heā€™s so fickle and unreliable flirts with too many competitors… and hasnā€™t designated them exclusive Svengali/puppet powers over his harebrained schemes..

      They know he watches them most mornings, and they continue to audition for him… And try to coach him …give him ideas and help finesse his talking points … And laugh at his ā€˜anticsā€™ no matter how dangerous and destabilizing … And explicitly convey to him what he can get away with and how..

      They also bring on ..or take on in absentia, treasonous buffoonā€™s perceived enemies and potential Dem competitors, to give them a look over, size them up as competition… grill them on his behalf … help him figure out their weaknesses and strengths.. And help pooh-pooh and undermine them as necessary..

      In the end also, Scarborough – as with all the other fake ā€˜neverā€™ rethugs, remain as rabidly committed to the GOP, and all its callous priorities and inhumane ideology..

      They all remain as committed to making sure Democrats donā€™t get ahead and donā€™t get a foothold or take over even temporarily and certainly never permanently – no matter how horrid and dangerous the treasonous buffoon is … and no matter the damage heā€™s doing to the fabric of this nation and our democracy ..

      So they continue to aggressively run interference on behalf of the GOP and itā€™s callous ā€˜idealsā€™, to weaken Dems …cast them as ā€˜just as badā€™.. Continue to at every turn invoke false equivalencies where they do not exist.. throw around as many false ā€˜both-sidesā€™ narratives every time the buffoon steps in it..

      Theyā€™ve focused entirely on Dems …even as McConnell with all the power as Senate leader, continues to devastate our judicial system by embedding dangerously rabid and unqualified right wing nuts.. And Mulvaney and co are busy tearing apart our government agencies and democratic institutions from the ā€˜insideā€™..

      Meanwhile, the media finds some random stuff that some Dem did or said, and stay focused on that for days.. distracting from the serious, life-impacting shenanigans of the rethugs..

      The plan is to continue to navigate this dystopian set-up with the treasonous buffoon that they actively helped create, as-is … get every last thing they can out of it, make the best of the situation … but keep Dems at bay.. make sure Dems donā€™t resonate with, swoop in, take over, and be seen as savior, competent leaders – and the preferred party by a majority of the American public.. as wouldā€™ve easily happened if there werenā€™t ā€™liberal MSMā€™ folks like Scarborough et al, aggressively and insidiously running interference on behalf of the GOP … and actively staving off Dems ..and all while playing at being ā€˜friendsā€™ with their various Dem choice of flavor of the month… as they take star turns on the national stage..

    The Vermont senator is starting to think he will not only win the Democratic nomination, but beat Trump and become president.

    ā€œThereā€™s a three out of four chance we are not the nominee,ā€ Faiz Shakir, the current campaign manager, said he tells the senator, ā€œbut that one in four chance is better than anyone else in the field.ā€
