Denzel Washington said his ‘biggest lifetime achievement’ is his wife of 35 years, Pauletta.
The star was being honored on Thursday evening at the AFI Awards in Hollywood.
And the 64-year-old Training Day actor added that he is also proud of his four children. He has John David, 34, Katia, 32, and 28-year-old twins Olivia and Malcolm with his spouse.
At the event, the actor took a rare photo with his wife and two of his four kids – Katia and Malcolm – while on the red carpet.

West Point Military Cadet killed in a vehicle rollover is identified as a 22-year-old from New Jersey who was a law major and on the Army wrestling team

A cadet killed in a vehicle rollover during a training exercise at the West Point Military Academy has been identified as a 22-year-old from New Jersey.
West Point announced on Friday that Cadet Christopher J. Morgan of West Orange, New Jersey, died when the vehicle carrying cadets overturned in wooded terrain on Thursday morning.
Nineteen cadets and two soldiers operating the vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident. All the cadets have been treated and released with the majority of injuries including broken arms and abrasions.
Morgan was a law and legal studies major in the Class of 2020.
This is such a devastating loss.

In this case I’m going with “power play” and not irrational fear.
If we were flies on the walls of her house (or trailer) we would probably hear conversations about black folks (not the word she would use) these days not knowing their place like they used to in Mississippi.
Fear and ignorance are strongly correlated with racism, to be sure. But with this woman, I would bet that ignorance prevails. I would also bet that she is emboldened by what is going on now, by Trump, because she didn’t think there would be consequences for pulling a gun on black people for no reason. She worked at the park, Trump is her president, and she felt like showing them who is boss, just like the old days. A power play, most definitely.
It’s sad. I see an overweight old woman, possibly a mother, possibly a grandmother, an ignorant old fool, brandishing a weapon and dangerous. The country is better when she drops dead and the same for all those like her. These people NEVER change, they NEVER learn.

Son in law and daughter took me grocery shopping today. Daughter stayed in the car with Carson and son in law went inside with me. When we got back Carson was crying.
