You know, when this all started, there were those of us who brought up concentration camps. And, we definitely brought up the Japanese Internment Camps during WWII. But, you had folks, especially in the media, who poo-pooed us, and told us that we were exaggerating, and being melodramatic.

Trump Administration to Hold Migrant Children at Base That Served as WWII Japanese Internment Camp

The Trump Administration has opted to use an Army base in Oklahoma to hold growing numbers of immigrant children in its custody after running out of room at government shelters.
Fort Sill, an 150-year-old installation once used as an internment camp for Japanese-Americans during World War II, has been selected to detain 1,400 children until they can be given to an adult relative, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The agency said Fort Sill will be used “as a temporary emergency influx shelter” to help ease the burden on the government as it prepares to house a record number of minors even though it already operates about 168 facilities and programs in 23 states.

If you already operate 168 facilities….why do you need one that was used as a Japanese internment camp?
These demons are telling you who they are. And, it’s up for us to stand up against this.
Once again, don’t ask me to understand the voters who read this and are okay with it. I don’t need to understand them.
YOU need to understand that I have no respect for them, and want to have nothing in common with them.

    There isn’t going to be an equivalent series of GOP debates – televised or not …so GOP strategy and weaknesses aren’t going to be played out for all (including previously tuned out Americans) to see – or endlessly poked and analyzed by media and all manner of agenda-driven folk;

    Our Dems can effectively and importantly use the televised debates to not only take control of the narrative on behalf of the country and Americans as a whole, map out a clear, substantive vision for a better country, while dignifiedly introducing themselves to America …

    Or,

    They can indulge and entertain the salivating media and GOP’s desire for a ‘fight’ and dog and pony show.. and go on and preen and ‘scrap’ and make an arse of themselves … They do this, they lose..

      They didn’t fully appreciate PBO when he was POTUS, and if he now chooses not to get involved in certain things, I support him 100%. They should be calling on Trump to ”do” something for Kyle Kashuv since Kyle is in the GOP’s corner. Kashuv never sat on the couch in the WH with our Forever FL. He sat with Melania Trump. There’s nothing Trump or anyone else can do about Harvard rescinding Kashuv’s acceptance because Harvard is a private institution. Maybe now Kashuv will watch the sh*t that comes out of his d@mn mouth. He’s also learning that ”white privilege” sometimes has some limits. The Harvard Board of Admissions made the right decision in rescinding his acceptance because the institution doesn’t need another divisive, hateful, bigot on its campus.
