Born and raised in Cape Town during Apartheid, Butler started singing and playing acoustic guitar as a child. Racial segregation and poverty during Apartheid has been the subject of many of his records.[1] His first single was the first by a black artist played by white radio stations in the racially segregated South Africa and earned a Sarie Award, South Africa’s equivalent to the Grammy Awards.

    Hey Rik.. do you know where this is..

    This painted portrait on some building in Chicago was recently completed by a South Korean street artist – Graffiti artist Chris Shim, aka Royyal Dog. He uses his work as a way to conceptually bridge gaps between cultures. In 2016, he traveled to the U.S. from his home in Seoul and spent nearly three months in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Modesto. In Los Angeles’ Container Yard, he created a beautiful mural that defined his career.

    Shim’s large-scale spray paintings are completed in a realistic style that looks effortlessly crafted – and is a fusion of Korean hanboks and women of all ethnicities.

    According to him, he typically avoids painting famous people he says – he was however honored to be commissioned by the South Korean government to immortalize the first summit/meeting between the leaders of North & South Korea at the Blue House (South Korea’s presidential residence)..

    But in Chicago, as he mulled who to paint, everyone he met wanted him to paint the daughter of the soil.. so he did.. and he just unveiled it yesterday..

      That’s what they’re all about.. mediocrity-embalmed traitors auditioning to a treasonous buffoon for a chance to get a tax payer funded gig they’re not qualified for by a mile & one they’d never ever have been even marginally considered for in any lifetime..

      And a chance to grift to their heart’s content at the American tax payers expense..

      This us what the GOP – formerly the party of faux-patriots …the party that forcibly held hostage the mantle of ‘patriotism’ …the party that for years decided who was and who wasn’t a ‘patriot’ …and for years had the ‘patriotism/patriot’ label completely ceded to them …and were automatically declared rightful heirs to all things ‘patriotic’ and were the first, only and final word on any and everything concerning ‘patriots’ and ‘patriotism’..

      Finally the faux-patriot mask has been completely ripped off.. and they’re not even trying to fake ‘patriotism’ any longer …they’ve all pledged allegiance to Mother Russia.. and are ready to sell this country down the river for a couple of rubles.. and a blood-stained shekel or two thrown in for good measure..

      Why anyone with a sliver of sense, morals or integrity would ever follow the treasonous buffoon in the first place, escapes all decent thinking people..

      You can read his crap without following him and puffing him up – because he actually believes everyone who follows him – bots and all, ‘like him’ .. and he measures his ‘popularity’ by his followership..
