Thursday Open Thread | Susan Sarandon Got Dragged In Those Twitter Streets, and I Am Here For It

Susan Sarandon is getting dragged on The Twitter Streets, because she had the nerve to attack Senator Warren at a Bernie Sanders fundraiser.
Ms. Sarandon is one of those clowns from the left, who, in 2016, peddled the bullshyt that she couldn’t quite lift the finger to go and vote for Hillary, because, really, would there be a difference between Hillary and Trump?
You know my response to that.
Get the ENTIRE PHUCK OUTTA HERE.
THESE kind of people from the left are just as responsible for where we are today as anyone who pulled the lever to vote for Dolt45.
And, they WILL NEVER BE FORGIVEN.

We told you what was at stake in 2016….but, you couldn’t be bothered. You couldn’t step down from your perch of privilege to consider for one moment what would happen to those less fortunate than yourselves if you were actually WRONG about the election.

I feel you, Malcolm Johnson. MAN, I feel you.

Malcolm P. Johnson (@admiralmpj) Tweeted:
There was a racist running for High office.

We told you he was racist. He DEMONSTRATED he was racist.

And when the moment came to make a stand with your vote…what did you do??

Susan Sarandon chose to ignore our cries.

We remember, and we present the receipts. https://twitter.com/admiralmpj/status/1163527851934490625?s=17

Malcolm P. Johnson (@admiralmpj) Tweeted:
I remember tweeting in 2016…I don’t need you to love Hillary, I need you to stop Trump. I was that scared. Scared for my life.

Every time you Jill Stein backing a-holes say, “Well we voted out conscience” you remind me that your conscience is more important than POC’s lives. https://twitter.com/admiralmpj/status/1163537061715988480?s=17

Malcolm P. Johnson (@admiralmpj) Tweeted:
This is not about who or what swung the election, this about what you do…as an individual in that moment, faced with a KNOWN White Nationalist running for President.

What did she do?

She ignored Black People…and we’re going to remind her. https://t.co/0GDuwG0Oys https://twitter.com/admiralmpj/status/1163554880557944832?s=17

TELL IT!

Diana Dillman (@dillman_diana) Tweeted:
@admiralmpj Voting 3rd party [or write in] is a good way to let marginalized groups know that your abstract principles are more important than their very lives.

TELL THAT TRUTH!

Take a deep breath…we got a long ways to go! (@Penny_J_Thomas) Tweeted:
@admiralmpj @milleronia @TomKludt White women, white Sanders supporters, wanted a revolution because they literally had no skin in the game.

West, Sarandon, Moore, Killer Mike, etc…#ChampagneSocialists

There asses go right back to their upscale neighborhood at the end of the day. https://twitter.com/Penny_J_Thomas/status/1163555797873364994?s=17

prioritizing a protest vote over the lives, and safety of black and brown people. And babies in cages. In a CRISIS one shud (IMO )put your personal dreams aside for the sake of the People. These mass murders by White Supremicists (up 226% last year) are incited by Trump rhetoric. https://twitter.com/DebraMessing/status/1163563213369176067?s=17

Debra Messing (@DebraMessing) Tweeted:
If you are unwilling to see the destruction he has wraught, and that we MUST stop him from a 2nd term by uniting behind WHOMEVER the Dem candidate is— then you can’t say you care about the lives of marginalized people. Ps I’ll happily get arrested if that’s the barometer. https://twitter.com/DebraMessing/status/1163563214665240576?s=17

MORE ramifications of the 2016 Election which will affect millions of women across this country…but…remember….Susan Sarandon voted her ‘ conscience’.

My working theory on the Sanders campaign is that he’s doing it as a quid pro quo for Trump’s DOJ letting Crooked Jane off the hook for bank fraud, of which they had her dead to rights. The timing of Jeff Weaver saying the FBI *closed* the case during the week of the Blue Wave was too suspicious. Putin’s 2nd choice seems to have no interest in expanding his base, only in ratfucking to help Putin’s 1st choice to destroy our democracy. He only hired Putin’s other stooge Stein voters to surround himself with. He’s an evil fucker, and if he’s the nominee (he won’t be), or if the Dem wins, the next day Barr’s DOJ will re-open that bank fraud case and indict Jane by finding *new* evidence. Tax fraud too, probably. I’m sticking with this theory until it no longer explains what the mediocre old fraud’s campaign is doing.

  2. Black people didn’t vote for him. White people did.

Another cruel Trump immigration proposal, another legal challenge

Lee Gelernt, deputy director of the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project, talks with Rachel Maddow about the legal challenges already filed against Trump administration immigration proposals, and the new legal challenge coming against the Trump administration’s bid for the ability to detain immigrant families indefinitely.

  4. rikyrah says:

Trump seeks capability to indefinitely detain immigrant families

Rachel Maddow outlines recent anti-immigrant proposals by the Donald Trump administration that are united by their intentional cruelty, legal dubiousness, and dual function as a Trump 2020 campaign appeal to his base.

Trump admin coverage maxim: Watch what they do, not what they say

Rachel Maddow remarks on the awkwardness of not being able to believe anything the president of the United States says and notes members of the media increasingly coming to the realization that the truth is better found in what the Trump administration does than what it says.

I just shake my head when folks go on TV and ask why some Trump supporters are being called racists. My response is that if they’d keep their mouths shut, no one would even think about calling them racists. We’re not pointing them out, we’re just listening and recording them saying this mess in real time. They’re shining the racism light on themselves. Trick Pony 1 and Trick Pony 2, aka, Diamond and Silk, went on Fox News to ask the same question. They know that if there were ever a law that would allow this government to detain us in facilities for breathing while being black, they’d be in one, too. When I grew up in Middle GA under Jim Crow, the same laws applied to everyone who looked like myself and my family. Those folks didn’t make any distinction between the @ss kissers and the rest of us. The @ss kissers were treated the same way as the rest of us by them.

Emmett Till, Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin, Laquan McDonald, and so many others were kids, too, but that didn’t stop the police and some of our citizens from killing them. Way too many in America have been permitted to do certain things for a long, long time without being held accountable for any of it. There’s one right now, squatting at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, and people like this woman think these folks shouldn’t have to be held accountable for their words and actions? They’re nuts, absolute, 100% certifiably nutso, and they’re sterling examples of the multi-tiered justice system in America. If this child had been black, poor, and/or a POC, their mothers wouldn’t have been given the opportunity to discuss their children’s arrest with an officer. This officer just so happened to be kind and explain to her why her kid was being arrested. There’s no telling what her son has been doing when she hasn’t been around him. Also, who taught him it was acceptable in any way to threaten others’ lives for sh*ts, grins, and giggles? My parents would have blistered my and my brothers’ butts if any of us had done something like this. They knew we were living dangerous lives in GA under Jim Crow, and they were determined none of their kids would ever be incarcerated. None of us has ever been convicted of a crime and spent time in prison My folks didn’t play with this. The lessons they taught us were focused on showing us how to survive in America because they knew the deck was stacked against us the second we drew our first breath into our lungs..

    • majiir says:

I don’t think Trump or Perdue like getting a little bit of what they’ve been dishing out. The GOP created a monster, set it loose in America, saw it inciting others to commit acts of violence against some of our citizens, ignored the behavior, justified the behavior, and now, some of what they’ve unleashed has its teeth lodged in their butt cheeks, and they’re running like chickens running away from an angry wolf.

    • majiir says:

I used to wonder why Tim Robbins dropped her butt, but now I understand why he stopped dealing with her.
