The Democratic Establishment are the local, state, and national party leaders who ram candidates down our throats.
Example 1: Hillary Clinton. It was her turn. Twice. Clear the path. She is / was Democratic Royalty. No need to say more.
Example 2: Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ CD2): She’s the “one who can win” and anointed by the Democratic party. So she won a Democratic leaning district. At age 69 she falls, hurts herself badly, admits her alcoholism, and plans to run again this year.
That’s the establishment. The ones who know what is best for the voters but beg for our donations and our time to promote candidates. If we disagree with their choices, that’s just too bad because we gotta pull together.
