    Watching MSNBC in Minneapolis with Ali.
    This is my sister’s old neighborhood.I recognize every street on my TV screen. She just moved from there about a year ago.😲😲

    To the protesters in Chicago, it looks like performance theater. They aren’t in the places where you have problems with the police. Not in those places. And cause of gentrification, they would have to walk phucking MILES to get to a neighborhood with somebody MAJORITY NOT-WHITE.

    Chicago is on a grid system.
    Downtown at State and Madison is basically 0/0.
    Go East and you will soon be in Lake Michigan.

    They gentrified Northfirst. No more Black neighborhoods North.

    They long have moved the Black neighborhoods West past Western -which is 2400 West (24 blocks, at least).

    SOUTH. They would have to go around 3900 south to begin a sizeable Black presence….so, that would be walking 40 blocks.

    Like I said, they ain’t even interested in the neighborhoods that have the policing problem.

    So, the Mayor can do what she wants to these mofos.

    This isn’t the 60’s, where our neighborhood s went up in flames.
    They wouldn’t be bothered to actually come into our neighborhoods…so, this is performance theater.

    Shyt….They aren’t even marching and protesting at Police headquarters, which is on the South Side.

    Just like that foolishness in Atlanta. They didn’t protest at the state capitol. Or police headquarters. Or, even city hall.
    They were at CNN?😒😒😒

      It was a fvvking lynch mob. This was a lynching if ever there was one.

      The three ex-cops who participated in the lynching need to be charged. And that white supremacist piece of garbage Derek Chauvin needs his charges upped to first degree murder.

        It didn’t have to get to this. The country has gone to hell. We are without a president. They’d rather tear the country apart than arrest cops for outright murder. The reason is, cops are here to protect whiteness and keep Black people in line. They are modern day slave patrols. If they punish the slave patrols, then they have nothing left.

    I see a lot of white folks. And people look relatively young. Maybe they’re waking up. They inherit a divided and battered country but unless they want to live somewhere else, this is their country and they have to step up and make it into what they want it to be. I’m sorry my generation of white people fvvked up so badly. But we’ll all be dead or in nursing homes soon enough. It’s not our country anymore, too bad the politicians don’t realize that.
