I would love for the kids to back to school. I want Peanut back in schoo!. But, we need to be mindful of why schools closed in the first place. Those other countries cited as examples of why we should open ours—-THEY HANDLED THEIR BUSINESS AND TOOK CARE OF COVID-19. Their daily case load doesn’t look like America’s.😠😷😠😷

We’ve tolerated the Fox right wing disinformation and propaganda for a long time. Apparently it has something to do with freedom of speech.

We are now learning the true cost of our tolerance.

    Well…..well………..
I’m just gonna post this and leave the comments to others:

… (T)he virus appears to have caught up with the Villages, [Florida] a sprawling retirement community so big it has three ZIP codes, 12 golf courses and multiple libraries and movie theaters. Since the beginning of July, hospital admissions of residents from the Villages have quadrupled at University of Florida Health The Villages, the hospital’s critical care doctors said. As of last week, the hospital admitted 29 Villages residents, all of them with the virus…. In Sumter County, where part of the Villages is located, there were 270 cases last week, up from 68 in the first week of June, according to the county’s health department.

Rob Hannon, 64 (said) the golf course is still crowded, as well as the hair salon where his wife, Michelle, 53, works. “The women are still coming in, but they’re a little more anxious,” Mr. Hannon said. “You can’t stop living. But you can stop being cavalier.”

    Found this at another blog:

Someone wrote about the stress Dr. Fauci is under, caused by the current administration and how many of his TV appearances are being cancelled by the White House. She got an address for The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and thought we all should send him a Thank You card…by mail. The postage purchased will help the USPS and the cards may make Dr. Fauci’s day and let him know how much he’s respected and appreciated by most Americans.

If you’re interested, send a card to:

Here’s another thing in this ‘ the schools must open’ bullshyt:

my sister’s teacher friends -a whole lot of them are taking a serious look at the hit they would take financially if they retire now, versus the 2-3 years they thought they would be teaching.

    A LOT of them.

    And, I don’t blame them.
    Being short financially vs. LIVING

I smell a whole lot of retirements coming on…and who are they going to get to replace them?

  10. rikyrah says:

SO angry, when I look at the rest of the world.

    THEY took care of business.

We had Dolt45 and his merry band of idiots.

All those GOP Governors who talked mad shyt about New York and Cuomo, and look at their states.

We are in the same position.

    NOT ENOUGH PPE

    NOT ENOUGH TESTS

    HOSPITAL CAPACITY

But, before, when it was Democratic Governors, they spoke up.

All this shyt is happening to GOP Governors, and they aren’t saying shyt!
