For those not used to this weather:
1. Stay inside
2. Keep the heat up
3. Layers, even in the house
4. Don’t drive- your state probably doesn’t have the equipment or supplies to deal with these elements
5. If you must go out respect the elements. You must drive differently
6. Make sure that your cellphone is completely charged
7. When you drive, you have to warm up the car. 15-20 minutes, minimum, BEFORE you start driving.
8. Clothing for outside- layers and layers. Anything exposed can freeze in just a few minutes.
9. Best bet- STAY INSIDE.
Make sure that your gas tank is at least half full
Have all the faucets in your house: sinks and bathtub/shower, dripping
