The MSM thinks that we have amnesia about how the GQP has acted since 2009. And, how the MSM aids them. The Democrats need to remember, and act accordingly. They did with the COVID Relief Bill, and the same path should be followed with infrastructure and Voting Rights.

And Manchin?
We see right through your bi-partisan cosplay bullshyt.😠😠

No wonder.. this certainly confirms and explains a whole lot…

“…Donald Trump called Joe Biden a “mental retard” during the 2020 election, a new book says, but was reluctant to attack him too strongly for fear the Democrats would replace him with Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama.

Biden went on to beat Trump by more than 7m in the popular vote and by 306-232 in the electoral college, a result Trump deemed a landslide when it was in his favour against Clinton in 2016.

Trump refused to accept defeat, pushing the lie that it was the result of electoral fraud. The lie resulted in the deadly Capitol attack of 6 January, by a mob Trump told to “fight like hell”, and a second impeachment. Trump was acquitted of inciting the insurrection and remains eligible to run for office.

He tops polls of Republican nominees for 2024 and has returned to public speaking. On Monday, Forbes reported a planned tour with the former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, who left the network amid claims of sexual misconduct.

Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost, by Michael Bender of the Wall Street Journal, will be published in August. Trump was among interviewees for the book.

Previous revelations include that the Fox News host Sean Hannity, who was rebuked for campaigning with Trump, wrote an ad for the Trump campaign – a report Hannity denied.
Bender writes that Trump interrupted a White House meeting to ask: “How am I losing in the polls to a mental retard?”

Biden was 78 when he became the oldest president ever sworn in. Trump turns 75 next week.
Bender adds that Trump believed his attacks on the Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren early in the Democratic primary were too successful. Trump gave Warren a racist nickname, Pocahontas, based on her claim to Native American ancestry.

Thinking Warren would have been an easier opponent, Bender writes, Trump fretted to aides that Democrats would “realise [Biden is] old, and they’re going to give it to somebody else. They’re going to give it to Hillary, or they’re going to give it to Michelle Obama.”

Trump reportedly feared Democrats would move to replace Biden at their convention.
According to widespread reporting, Trump’s fears about Clinton were not entirely without justification. Clinton did consider jumping into a race in which Biden struggled before surging to victory.

According to Battle for the Soul by Edward-Isaac Dovere, released last month, the former first lady, senator and secretary of state “would muse aloud sometimes” about taking the nomination at a contested convention.

Michelle Obama, however, never expressed interest. The former first lady remains hugely popular with the Democratic base but has repeatedly ruled out a career in frontline politics…”

“…Hillary Clinton refused to close the door on the possibility of entering the 2020 presidential race, telling an interviewer Tuesday, “I never say never to anything.”

The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee was asked during a BBC Radio interview if she was “100%” certain she would not run again. Clinton replied that she thinks “all the time about what kind of president I would have been, and what I would have done differently, and what I think it would have meant to our country and the world.”

“So of course, I think about it. I think about it all the time,” she said.

When she was asked a second time if she was ruling out another run, Clinton again declined to explicitly say she would not do it.

“I will certainly tell you, I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it,” she said. “But as of this moment, sitting here in this studio talking to you, that is absolutely not in my plans.”

If Clinton does plan to enter the fray, time is not on her side as the filing deadlines have already passed in at least two states and others are fast approaching. And Clinton said Tuesday, “it’s way past time” to get in the race.

Speculation about a 2020 rematch between Clinton and President Donald Trump, the man who defeated her in 2016, has swirled virtually since the moment the election results were announced three years ago.

…pundits began to rekindle the idea of a 2020 Clinton campaign after former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s unexpected moves toward a late entry into the race. Former Massachusetts Gov. Duval Patrick is also said to be considering a last-minute run.

Bloomberg is “increasingly concerned that the current field of candidates is not well positioned” to beat Trump, said his adviser Howard Wolfson. The New York Times reported Monday that wealthy Democratic donors have been hoping for fresh faces to enter the race amid concerns about fundraising totals and a lack of confidence in the strength of the leading candidates.

Mark Penn, who was chief strategist for Clinton’s 2008 presidential run, said Bloomberg’s move could prod Clinton to consider a run and decide there’s “still a political logic there for her.”

Former Clinton adviser Philippe Reines said on Fox News last month that “if she thought she had the best odds of beating Donald Trump, I think she would think about it long and hard.”

And on Oct. 31., former President Bill Clinton dropped the aside that while he is ineligible for another term, his wife “may or may not run for anything.”

I believe that we should send the vaccine to our Embassies abroad. If you can get to the Embassy, you can get vaccinated.

American expats push for access to coronavirus vaccines, raising questions about international equity

    By Claire Parker
    June 6, 2021 at 1:36 p.m. CDT

The United States is one of the small number of countries where coronavirus vaccinations are widely available.

“All over the world people are desperate to get a shot that every American can get at their neighborhood drugstore,” President Biden said on Wednesday.

But one group of Americans feels left behind: expatriates.

“We pay taxes, we vote, why shouldn’t we have a vaccine?” asked Loran Davidson, an American living in Thailand.

So far, the request has been denied. “We have not historically provided private health care for Americans living overseas, so that remains our policy,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters last month.
    ………………………

An estimated 9 million Americans live outside the United States, according to State Department figures. Unlike expatriates from most other countries, they are required to pay U.S. taxes. In recent weeks, a growing chorus has argued that they should therefore be entitled to receive U.S.-approved coronavirus vaccines

    …………………………………

After a rocky start, the State Department finished inoculating embassy staff worldwide in April, a department spokesperson said. So far, the administration has presented those unaffiliated with U.S. embassies with two options: Come home to get the shot, or wait your turn where you are.

But Americans living overseas say it’s not that simple. Vaccines are scarce in many countries. A pregnant woman in Taiwan said she doesn’t feel safe traveling internationally. A disabled veteran in Tunisia can’t afford the trip. Expats in Thailand say that with local quarantine requirements, the round-trip ordeal could take up to six weeks.

“Although some of us have access to vaccines in our host countries, we all agree that the U.S. government should take appropriate steps to ensure that vaccines are available to all of its citizens worldwide,” read an open letter to Biden from leaders of Democrats Abroad, the Democratic Party’s official arm for American expatriates, on Tuesday. Other expat groups have demanded the same
