About eighty UTSA students gathered at Sombrilla Plaza Wednesday Dec. 10, 2014 for a “Die-in” in honor of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, where they laid for 15 and half minutes. The event was sponsored by the UTSA NAACP chapter in an effort to shed light on police brutality and injustice.
